My responsibilities on this project involved using Revit and Rhino as part of a team to bring the drawings to 90% Design Development. I aided the team with unit organization, Sky Bridge layout, and ďŹ re and life safety drawings. The main challenges were working on an international project with clients in Vietnam, working on a large person team, and incorporating various models into one cohesive delivery.

Sunnyvale, California

While using Revit, I helped to maintain the construction documents primarily focusing on the lobby and atrium stairs and surrounding areas while developing various details. One of the main features of this project was the 3 story atrium stadium stairs where Google wanted to hold various touch-ins and meetings. The main challenges were the voxel details, the stadium stair details and the millwork cladding system.

UC Merced 2020 Merced, California

As part of the largest PPP (Private Public Partnership) in the United States, UC Merced decided to more than double their size and become one of the most advanced biomedical and educational universities in California. Amongst the new building additions, they added two new laboratories, one of which containes a BSL3, a dining hall, and at least three student housing buildings. My role on this project was to perform QA/QC as 3rd party reviewer to the Architects of Record: SOM and WRNS on the client side of UC Merced. The main challenges in this project were: coordinating numerous room allocations across multiple buildings and working with a large construction management team.

Merced 2020 is a campus expansion initiative that will be delivered in three phases between Fall 2018 and Fall 2020. By 2020, 1.2 million gross square feet of new space for academics, housing, student life, and athletics will be developed in order to address existing campus needs and to enable expanded access to the University. The $1.3 billion project broke ground in October 2016 and is the largest higher education expansion of its type in North America. Financing was provided by the University of California and Plenary Properties Merced. When complete, the campus will have grown from 104 developed acres to 219 developed acres and every facility will achieve at least a LEED Gold certification.


Oakmore Apartments Oakmore, California

Project info: Status: Built

This project included two separate buildings with 6 - 9 units at about 1000 sqft each and was created in Oakmore, California near Oakland, as a multi-family residential project. I worked alone as the primary Revit drafter during this project alongside the design principal and assisted in the project documents which I then took in to the city and submitted for permit. The design principal and I worked very closely in resolving the various issues and design challenges throughout the project.
