As a young professional, I look to continue to further my education and knowledge of architecture. This includes the understanding of the field in its methodology, technology, tools of design, construction process, and finally the post-built analysis. There is no better profession for what we do in terms of designing our inhabited world, and it must be exceptional. S

AIAS Arid Cities Competition

Oakmore Lofts | Oakland | 20 016 This multi-family residential project was two separate buildings located in Oakland with 3 units in each building at about 1000 sqft and stretching vertically 3 stories tall. I took over the project while it was in schematic design and submitted it for permit with minimal supervision.

950 3rd St. | Los Angeles | 2015 This mixed-use project is currently urrently under construction near downtown ntown 2 units Los Angeles. It involves 472 of multi family housing units s as well as retail space on the lower floors on a 5.6 acre site. It t takes up more than 240,000 sq ft. As part of a team-based project, ect, my responsibilities involved d coordinating the numerous units, nits, and the water proofing details ls while picking up various redmarks dmarks determined by the overseeing g project manager. During this project, I also taught myself how to write and combine bine batch, script, and lisp code e outside of work to help expidite dite the Construction Documents. This turned out to be incredibly helpful and time saving by creating a program that could automate simple tasks for me throughout hundreds dreds of drawings.

AIAS Arid Cities Competition | Tucson | 2014 Finishing in second place, this team project was for a competition put on by the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS). The Competition was a proposal for two different sites one being in Tucson, Arizona, and the other being in Phoenix, Arizona. Because of our close proximity, we chose Tucson. The project focused on the collection and celebration of water and integrating outdoor, commercial, and residential spaces. My collegue and I both designed the project with minimal guidance from our professor and we both contributed to the graphic presentation.
