Make Your Mark on the Community

Caring community members are at the heart of The Community Foundation. We are here to enhance the quality of life in Muncie and Delaware County.

To do this, we build relationships with donors, community partners, and nonprofit organizations that are making an impact in Delaware County. Already this year alone, more than 100 local nonprofit organizations have benefited from funding from The Community Foundation to meet their missions and do vital work in our community.

Through our grantmaking, we put our mark on the community. Because of donors like you, we grow our grantmaking year over year – to more than $3.7 million last year – in perpetuity.

We can continue to make our mark because of the history of support to The Unrestricted Fund of The Community Foundation. This fund, the first fund at The Community Foundation, supports broad community grantmaking to benefit the community’s needs as they change.
