A New Mark for The Community Foundation

Earlier this year, we quietly launched a new logo for The Community Foundation. Building upon history and tradition, the new mark remains an eternal flame to symbolize the lasting effect a gift today can have for generations to come. The original mark, a stylized eternal flame, was designed by a community leader in 1985 to reflect three concepts central to the mission of the Foundation: perpetuity, intensity of need and commitment, and the optimism and reality of a better quality of life.

While the mark looks a little different today, the connection to our mission remains. The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County is making a mark on the community today, tomorrow, and always.
