Brianna McQueen passed away on March 3, 2012 at the age of nine after a fifteen month battle with an inoperable tumor. In her memory the LovingBri Fund was created to celebrate the life of Brianna McQueen. The fund is used to raise funds that may help organizations like the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, which conducts research and helps those afflicted with such conditions. Funds may also help those with pediatric brain tumors, or to honor the memory of Brianna with scholarship or grants. For more information visit lovingbrifund.org.

Millennium Society Members 2012 In 2008, the Community Foundation formed the Millennium Society. The Millennium Society is a new way for regular supporters of the CFMC to demonstrate leadership by making annual commitments to support the operations of their growing community foundation. The Board of the Community Foundation of Morgan County, Inc. hired the independent accounting firm of Blue & Co., LLC to perform an audit of the financial statements of Community Foundation of Morgan County, Inc. for the 2012 fiscal year. Their audit report stated that they were not aware of any material modifications that should be made to the accompanying financial statements in order for them to be in conformity with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles.
