THE ANGUS SLATER LAMOND FUND FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH Promotes the development and education of economically disadvantaged children and youth aged 18 years of age and younger in the City of Alexandria and in Fairfax County south and west of the City of Alexandria with a current preference towards the Route 1 corridor.

United Community Ministries, $12,500 Serving Fairfax County Funding supported the organization’s after-school and summer program along the Route 1 corridor that serves economically disadvantaged youth.

The Campagna Center, $12,500 Serving Alexandria Funding supported Building Better Futures (BBF), a program that helps at-risk secondary level public school students in Alexandria succeed in school and become college and career ready.
