“The Rose Koury Scholarship allows me to attend my dream school and continues to allow me to learn from some of the best and most informed teacher education professors in America. Without this scholarship, my education at Miami University (in Oxford, Ohio), would not be possible due to high out-of-state tuition costs. Every day I have the privilege to learn about what I want to do, in my favorite place on earth, and the Rose Koury Scholarship is to thank for that. I am majoring in Early Childhood Education, with hopes to come back to Northern Virginia and begin work as an Elementary School teacher. In that position, I hope to help mold my future students into young leaders, academics, and change-makers.”
