Abstract On December 31st, 2019, a novel coronavirus (SARS-Cov-2) was identified as the pathogen causing a cluster of atypical bilateral pneumonia in China and, in February 2020, the disease was designated as COVID-19 by the World Health Organization (WHO). The manifestations of the infection vary immensely, and the development of Pneumonia is the most common serious manifestation of the infection. The radiologic findings of COVID-19 pneumonia include bilateral interstitial infiltrates of the lungs, mostly peripheral infiltrates. Typically, the course of the disease is of rapid development of hypoxemia, with need of supplemental oxygen therapy. In order to highlight the approach to these patients, we report a case of a 69 year-old man, with a typical presentation and development of the disease.
