As we look back on all that the East Side and Buffalo have gone through in the past year, we are so grateful to all the community members who have shared their unique and individual experiences of being affected by 5/14. To serve as co-chairs of the Buffalo Together Community Response Fund (BTCRF) and be part of building an intentional way forward for the East Side is a role that we don’t take lightly. We, along with the BTCRF steering committee, are committed to centering your voices as we continue our work.

If 5/14 did anything, it gave us a sense of urgency, but also showed us we need to be deliberate in our actions – because the forces pushing against us are deliberate and intentional, and they have a long history of structural institutional advantage on their side. The work ahead is not simple, and the BTCRF is focused on a long-term solution.

But it is clear that we can’t just spend our way out of this situation. We cannot keep throwing money at the same infrastructure with the same roadblocks and the same mindset and expect a different outcome for the East Side. With that in mind, we sought additional funding outside the BTCRF to hire Rainbow Research, a Black-led national organization with ties to Buffalo, to lead a process that is rooted in listening and learning first. At the end of 2023, they will deliver to us a community investment strategy that will build on current community assets and lay out best practices to take our community from surviving to thriving. Know this, too – the thriving East Side we envision cannot exist unless long-time residents are part of future growth and development. We must continue to work together in this historic moment to remove structural barriers to allow our community to flourish and creating lasting change.

Coming forth with consciously pure souls are the natural autochthonous woman & man, Bianca Davis & Demario Perry of the union state, New York. Obliged are we to receive the honor from DIVINE Primordial Creator to become sacred guardians and trustees of the living estate (absolute) in perpetuity, of private property of value with inalienable indestructible interest, Tufani Mwenyezi Aza Abeo. November second, two thousand twenty-two, twenty-one minutes into the sixth hour of dawn, recorded the emergence of this sovereign soul (Genesis 1:26-29), whom was baptised as an Evolver through the womb of Mother & Minister Bianca, and delivered by the hands of Father Demario, wealthy in health measuring seven pounds and eleven ounces, twenty inches in length, with black hair and observant brown eyes. Handwritten, autographed, and sealed is this record stored within the private family bible, established as a sacred Custodial Trust to hold title to the estate and aid in secondary evidence of live birth. No entity can breach this Trust or exercise eminent domain and/or cause suffering without remedy. Any act to impair a private contract; convert, appropriate private property into a false nationality, citizenship, artificial person or civilly dead entity through a government issued birth certificate, or any legal offer to contract to generate revenues is null and void, dishonorable, fraud and identity theft without written permission from both trustees and a wax seal from the DIVINE based ministry surrendering said property from Trust (Psalm 119:133).
