Join us for this Business Breakfast to hear from Dermot Usher, the new owner of Cork City Football Club.

Dermot was officially announced as the new owner of Cork City FC in December 2022 after the fans group, FORAS, voted overwhelmingly in favour of the takeover. Dermot wants to enhance the experience for fans at Turners Cross and will talk about how he plans to do this in the short and long term.

He will discuss his plans to build on existing relationships with local businesses, particularly those who sponsor the club, and create opportunities for other companies to support the club and get something back in return.

Dermot has a successful background in business having created the market leading bathroom brand Sonas Bathrooms. He will talk about the importance of looking at the customer’s point-of-view when running a business and how he plans to incorporate this into the business plan for Cork City FC.
