Our Business Breakfast took place on the 24th February at the Clayton Hotel Cork City where over 150 attendees gathered to hear from Marguerite Sayers, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, ESB. Marguerite shared insights into future plans, detailed changing demands and the importance of energy security and independence.

Intrapreneurship - Empowering Your People For Success

In partnership with Tech Industry Alliance, Munster Technological University, Tralee Chamber and in association with Cork Chamber Skillnet and National Software Centre (NSC)

Attendees had the opportunity to visit the impressive RDI Hub in Kerry for this event which took place on the 9th March. This tech event focused on Intrapreneurship and how to accelerate innovation from within an organisation.

Speakers included Karl Aherne, Chief Operating Officer, Fexco, Gillian Whelan, Chief Commercial Officer, Aspira, William Dalton, Vice President & Managing Director, VicOne (Trend Micro) and MC, Donagh Kiernan, Founder and CEO at Tenego Academy.

Networking at Noon

Our Networking at Noon at Spaces, Horgan’s Quay took place on the 15th March. The rain didn’t stop attendees from getting a first hand look at the ever changing Cork City views at this modern co-working location, while getting the opportunity to mingle with fellow chamber members and make valuable connections.

This webinar took place on the 21st March and featured an informative presentation from Katie Ridge, Head of Employer Relations and Michelle McDonagh, Head of HR Consulting at Adare Human Resource Management.

The HR experts provided practical advice and guidance in areas including Statutory Sick Pay, Work-Life Balance, Predictable Working Conditions and the Protected Disclosures Act.
