Advocating on behalf of members, we are determined to ensure that our 202-year-old Chamber continues to create a positive legacy. The team is guided by our formal pledge to uphold the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Thomas McHugh

Director of Public A airs & Communications

Thomas works to drive impactful advocacy on behalf of members and to ensure Chamber communications are deliberate, cohesive and compelling. Having worked on stakeholder engagement for multiple record-breaking renewables projects in the UK and USA, and with a background in communications and the built environment, he is proud to commit his time to lobbying for a more sustainable, resilient and quality of life focused Cork.

Bo Browne

Communications & Marketing Manager

Bo manages the communications and marketing for Cork Chamber. As a communications conduit connecting Chamber activities, our valued members and external media, Bo channels our news through digital and traditional platforms. With over 20 years’ experience in branding, marketing and communications, Bo has a passion for nurturing the authentic, progressive and valued pro le of Cork Chamber.

Margaret Kelly

Public Affairs & Sustainability Executive

Margaret is a policy communications professional with over fourteen years’ international and corporate experience. She has specialism and interest in EU public policy and sustainable development. Margaret brings cross-sectoral experience from working with business representative organisations and across both the public and private sector projects at home and abroad. At Cork Chamber she is focussed on public a airs and the Chamber’s progressive sustainability agenda – the Sustainable Cork Programme.

Fiona O’Donovan

Public Affairs & Communications Executive

Fiona works closely with members and stakeholders to drive a sustainable agenda in Cork where a thriving business community will ensure its resilience into the future. Having worked in journalism for over a decade Fiona is passionate about communications and is proud to be part of a dynamic team whose purpose is to empower a successful, progressive and in uential membership that is paving the way for a transformative era in Cork’s history. Her academic background is in Government and Public Policy, Public and Political Communications, and Modern Irish.
