The study of art at Chaminade prepares students to take on the world with passion and creativity. Whether they are studying theater, dance, voice, instrumental music, film, or studio art, Chaminade art students develop empathy as they look at the world from different perspectives. Knowledgeable faculty inspire their students to develop their talents and pursue their passion.

THE ARTS AT CHAMINADE

THE ARTS AT CHAMINADE

All six of the art disciplines at Chaminade offer a sequence of study that encourages growth, enhancing critical thinking, decision making, and risk taking. Most students will take an introductory art course in their 9 th grade year, giving them the opportunity to continue with their study of art in greater depth during any – or all – of their years at Chaminade. Students also have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular and co-curricular programs.
