Welcome to the 2022 Chaminade Film Festival, showcasing some of the best work created by our Chaminade filmmakers in the past ten months. These twentytwo incredible short films – an eclectic mix of comedies, dramas, and horror – deserve to have an audience, and we are so glad to be back in the Tutor Family Center for the Performing Arts this year after two years of virtual festivals. Thank you for being here to celebrate our talented artists tonight. And to everyone who helped to make one (or more) of these wonderful films, congratulations! You worked hard to create these films, and everyone here tonight is proud of you!

SPECIAL
THANKS
FROM FILM PROGRAM DIRECTOR, KAREN ANN THUMM This special evening wouldn’t be possible without Mike Davis, our Technical Director and Theater Manager. Thank you so much for everything you do, Mike! I love the big screen and the swanky new projector, but above all, I appreciate your big heart. Thank you to Nathan Michael for creating the trailer for our festival this year. You did a fantastic job, Nathan! Thank you to our President, Rob Webb, our Principal, Luis Guerra, and our Vice Principals Jenn Poole, Mathew Judge, and Lisa Magorien. I am grateful for an administration that values the arts programs at Chaminade the way that you do! And a shout out to my fellow arts educators at Chaminade – Yvette Bishop, Amber Jackson, Sara Greenberg-Hart, Jordan Lewis, and Jackie Ward – thank you for being the outstanding teachers you are. It is no small feat to create a program where young artists can thrive, and our school boasts six such programs, each lead by an incredibly talented and astonishingly dedicated professional. I am grateful to be able to work with all of you! Bravo, Chaminade Arts!
