FROM THE COVER ARTIST: Santa dealing with the other holidays etc... the burning Christmas trees represent California and, Oregon wildfires of 2020, the dreidel hitting the ocean like the hurricanes and storms, and the Kwanzaa candles just burning and melting all of the globe's ice (The candles sticking off of the Earth like the Covid spikes.). By Amear Moretall It was another 3 days in the matrix well spent. It felt a little different this time, people seemed more familiar and problems in the virtual space were minimal. Much fewer issues with the sound and voice setup for sure. There were tons of new stores that walked aimlessly from booth to booth as well as some seasoned vets that came hit the booths they wanted and left. The unique visitor count was up and there was a steady stream of business being done.

Buyers had 3 halls jam-packed with vendors to choose from. After the first show, you asked for more glass vendors so the CHAMPSxFAM Sales team made sure it happened. Industry OG’s Jellyfish and Medicali were there as well as Empire Glassworks, CHV Glass, PURR Glass, Vulcan Glass Art, and Nectar Collecter. No matter the holiday you or they take part in at home, they are doing one thing when they are in your store. That one thing unites us all, pays the bills, and makes our holiday a family affair... buying gifts! Now it is time for you to get out there and buy gifts for them to buy to gift them. team-building experience by having each employee make their unique version, and then everyone votes on the ones they think should be sold or sell em all, and whoever's sells the most gets a bonus. Proven suggestion number 2 Next, buy as early as possible and be prepared to re-order those fast sellers. Having the latest and greatest is essential, but don't forget that some people will be looking for discounts on previous versions. Make sure you position yourself to maximize profits. The tried and true way to make people happy and sell off your slow movers is Christmas. Set a display in your store with all the stuff you have been sitting on for over six months. Every store has inventory in it that is OLD stuff that's years old that just never sold‌ Mark these things down so low that you're paying them to buy it‌ Once it's gone, you can reinvest into your high sellers and new releases. It is in your best interest to do this. It is a sort of purge. Never be married to your inventory! Continues On Page 46

One more tried and true way to win during the Holidaze‌ Decorate your store and call attention to your sales and deals. Get a window painter out there and get in the festive mode. It is crucial to bring holiday cheer rolling in. It helps loosen up your customer and make them feel like you are there for them. Hire a temp worker for weekends or work extra hours yourself and ensure that you are getting every customer the help they need. If you treat your Holiday sale like your 420 celebrations, you should have a chance at making record sales. Continues On Page 54

I would also like to stress this year. It would help if you were sure to protect your customers from COVID by continuing your efforts to run a safe and clean retail store. If you are somewhere that lines have to be outside while people shop inside. If it is cold, maybe get some heaters to keep your waiting clients warm or fans to keep them cool in warmer climates. We suggest that everyone get on the phone and call all the Advertisers in this Magazine to get some holiday deals. Get your shop ready, and let's have a great Holiday Season. Say you are looking for AirFresheners, click the link, and boom, a list of companies that have them, including my favorite Smoke Odor! To honestly give you a feel of what it is and what it can do, I went ahead and got a full sponsor package to create and interact just as everyone else will. The process was easy. Fill out a couple of forms, answer some key questions, and upload a few images of my logo, and off to the races it was. My business is not your traditional business featured on Green Pages, so I will try to focus on what will translate over to the vendors and buyers rather than the specific results we receive. Carrying my branding and getting my name out was my goal. After uploading my logo, it brought my branding directly to buyers and vendors, keeping my company recognizable. Instantly I started getting interactions from stores wanting to get the mailed version of the magazine. These results speak volumes to the buyer's efficacy of the site. I got the most response from my Email Blast. It brought in a great response with new leads ready to sign up. I am anxious to test the Zoom Meeting part of the platform they plan on launching. I am a big person to person interaction fan. I enjoy seeing the expressions. It's also a great way to see products and get to know the people behind the company. This new platform is a great way to up your business and find those hard to source items.
