Generation Y Jean-Boudillard “we are living not in real but in a simulation of the real and there is no ways to verify what real and what is simulation” Gen Y, we experience a dramatic shift in social cultural, and technology, an era of ever fast changing world. The birth of internet allow faster and more efficient ways of working and communicating, information are being exchange across the globe in only a matter of a second, within the reach of a button from every single smart phone device, so much so we are now lost within this vast amount data of information, what make it worst is perhaps that it is almost impossible to prove the authenicity of these information. Adam Curtis “we are living in a paradoxical world, the non-linear, contradicting confusing world where nothing make sense, and now more than ever social media play a large part in manipulate and distort information,” This thesis looks at ways to generate a new kind environment, to which the passage of light and time can be observer, a place where we can rest from the chaotic outside world, a place to admire the subtle beauty of natural phenomena which we some time overlook.

To create a new environment that response to the ever changing of time and space, an architecture that enhance the natural phenomena, the cycle of time sunrise and sunset, lunar and tidal cycle and annual solar cycle. A place where we all can experience the colour of light.

Fine polymer exterior mesh finish
The project looks at light as one of the architectural material that continuously alter space, in which it enhanced further by the lightweight and translucent roof that refract and reflect light rays as light filter through it.
Wire mesh frame generate form for polymer mesh to sit on High tensile steel rods to be painted in light white-yellow col our finish 50 mm Hollow tube section to be the main structure elements.
Thin white polymer mesh to drape over the roof mesh frame
Playing with the relation between solid and void, hard and soft, light and heavy, the roof of building is being constructed with the intention of light versus the solidity of the carved out rock.

Cutting the landscape High precision tools are used to cutout the straight lines through the sedimentary rock face in the direction of the sunrise and sunset equinox . show in the animation time frame on the right. The solid rock are being excavated in cube of one meter by one meter, these cut out rock are then fill back to the sea and future to extend the east and west axis.
