The Ultimate guide for
Siberian Husky
6 SB
The
Siberian Husky is a medium to large, dense-coat working dog breed that originated in North Eastern Siberia. The breed belongs to the Spitz genetic family. It is recognizable by its thickly furred double coat, sickle tail, erect triangular ears, and distinctive markings. Huskies are a very active, energetic, and resilient breed whose ancestors came from the extremely cold and harsh environment of the Siberian Arctic. Siberian Huskies were bred by the Chukchi of Northeastern Asia to pull heavy loads long distances through difficult conditions. The dogs were imported into Alaska during the Nome Gold Rush and later spread into the United States and Canada. They were initially sent to Alaska and Canada as sled dogs but rapidly acquired the status of family pets and show dogs.
History The Siberian Husky, Samoyed, and Alaskan Malamute are all breeds directly descended from the original sled dog, which 2004 DNA analysis confirms is one of the oldest breeds of dog. It is thought that the term “husky” is a corruption of the nickname “Esky” once applied to the Eskimos and subsequently to their dogs. Breeds descending from the Eskimo dog or Qimmiq were once found throughout the Northern Hemisphere from Siberia to Canada, Alaska, Greenland, Labrador, and Baffin Island. With the help of Siberian Huskies, entire tribes of people were able not only to survive, but to push forth into terra incognita. Admiral Robert Peary of the United States Navy was aided by this breed during his expeditions in search of the North Pole. Dogs from the Anadyr River and surrounding regions were imported into Alaska from 1908 (and for the next two decades) during the gold rush for use as sled dogs, especially in the “All-Alaska Sweepstakes,” a 408-mile (657-km) distance dog sled race from Nome, to Candle, and back. Smaller, faster and more enduring than the 100to 120-pound (45- to 54-kg) freighting dogs then in general use, they immediately dominated the Nome Sweepstakes. Leonhard Seppala, the foremost breeder of Siberian Huskies of the time, participated in competitions from 1909 to the mid-1920s. On February 3, 1925, Gunnar Kaasen was first in the 1925 serum run to Nome to deliver diphtheria serum from Nenana, over 600 miles to Nome. This was a group effort by several sled-dog teams and mushers, with the longest (91 miles or 146 km) and most dangerous segment of the run covered by Leonhard Seppala. The Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race commemorates this famous delivery. The event is also loosely depicted in the 1995 animated film Balto, as the name of Gunnar Kaasen’s lead dog in his sled team was Balto, although unlike the real dog, Balto the character was portrayed as half wolf in the film. In honor of this lead dog, a bronze statue was erected at Central Park in New York City. The plaque upon it is inscribed. Dedicated to the indomitable spirit of the sled dogs that relayed antitoxin six hundred miles over rough ice, across treacherous waters, through Arctic blizzards from Nenana to the relief of stricken Nome in the winter of 1925. In 1930, exportation of the dogs from Siberia was halted. The same year saw recognition of the Siberian Husky by the American Kennel Club.
7 SB
Nine years later, the breed was first registered in Canada. The United Kennel Club recognized the breed in 1938 as the “Arctic Husky,” changing the name to Siberian Husky in 1991. Seppala owned a kennel in Nenana before moving to New England, where he became partners with Elizabeth Ricker. The two co-owned the Poland Springs kennel and began to race and exhibit their dogs all over the Northeast. As the breed was beginning to come to prominence, in 1933 Navy Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd brought about 50 Siberian Huskies with him on an expedition in which he hoped to journey around the 16,000-mile coast of Antarctica. Many of the dogs were trained at Chinook Kennels in New Hampshire. Called Operation High Jump, the historic trek proved the worth of the Siberian Husky due to its compact size and greater speeds. Siberian Huskies also served in the United States Army’s Arctic Search and Rescue Unit of the Air Transport Command during World War II. Their popularity was sustained into the 21st century. They were ranked 16th among American Kennel Club registrants in 2012, rising to 14th place in 2013. The original sled dogs bred and kept by the Chukchi were thought to have gone extinct, but Benedict Allen, writing for Geographical magazine
8 SB
in 2006 after visiting the region, reported their survival. His description of the breeding practiced by the Chukchi mentions selection for obedience, endurance, amiable disposition, and sizing that enabled families to support them without undue difficulty. Description Coat A sable Siberian Husky A Siberian Husky’s coat is thicker than that of most other dog breeds, comprising two layers: a dense undercoat and a longer topcoat of short, straight guard hairs. It protects the dogs effectively against harsh Arctic winters, but the coat also reflects heat in the summer. It is able to withstand temperatures as low as −50 to −60 °C (−58 to −76 °F). The undercoat is often absent during shedding. Their thick coats require weekly grooming.[15] In hot areas a husky’s coat can naturally change so the dog can adapt to hot temperatures. Siberian Huskies come in a variety of colors and patterns, usually with white paws and legs, facial markings, and tail tip. The most common coats are black and white, then less common copper-red and white, grey and white, pure white, and the rare “agouti” coat, though many individuals
have blondish or piebald spotting. Striking masks, spectacles, and other facial markings occur in wide variety. Merle coat patterns are not allowed. The American Kennel Club allows all coat colors from black to pure white. Eyes A red/white colored Siberian Husky with heterochromia The American Kennel Club describes the Siberian Husky’s eyes as “an almond shape, moderately spaced and set slightly obliquely.” The eyes of a Siberian Husky are pale blue, dark blue, amber, green, or brown. In some individual dogs, one eye may be brown and the other blue (complete heterochromia), or one or both eyes may be “parti-colored,” that is, half brown and half blue (partial heterochromia) All of these eye-color combinations are considered acceptable by the American Kennel Club. Nose Show-quality dogs are preferred to have neither pointed nor square noses. The nose is black in gray dogs, tan in black dogs, liver in coppercolored dogs, and may be light tan in white dogs. In some instances, Siberian Huskies can exhibit what is called “snow nose” or “winter nose.” This condition is called hypopigmentation in animals. “Snow nose” is acceptable in the show ring. Tail Siberian Husky tails are heavily furred; these dogs will often curl up with their tails over faces and noses in order to provide additional warmth. As pictured, when curled up to sleep the Siberian Husky will cover its nose for warmth, often referred to as the “Siberian Swirl”. The tail should be expressive, held low when the dog is relaxed, and curved upward in a “sickle” shape when excited or interested in something. It should be symmetrical, and not curved or deviated to the side; nor should it ever curl so much as to touch the back. Size The breed standard indicates that the males of the breed are ideally between 21 and 23.5 inches (53 and 60 cm) tall at the withers and weighing between 45 and 60 pounds (20 and 27 kg). Females are smaller, growing to between 20 to 22 inches (51 to 56 cm) tall at the withers and weighing between 35 to 50 pounds (16 to 23 kg). Behavior The Husky has been described as a behavioral representative of the domestic dog’s forbearer,
the wolf, exhibiting a wide range of its ancestors’ behavior. They are known to howl rather than bark. Behavioral issues include a tendency to roam and to make escape attempts - they have been described as escape artists; who can include digging under, chewing through, or even jumping over fences. The ASPCA classifies the breed as good with children. It states they exhibit high energy indoors, have special exercise needs, may pursue cats, and may be destructive “without proper care.” A 6 ft (1.83 m) fence is recommended for this breed as a pet, although some have been known to overcome fences as high as 8 ft (2.44 m). Electric pet fencing may not be effective. They need the frequent companionship of people and other dogs. A fifteen-minute daily obedience training class has been shown to serve well for Siberian Huskies. Siberians need consistent training and do well with a positive reinforcement training program. They rank 45th in Stanley Coren’s The Intelligence of Dogs, being of average working/obedience intelligence. They tend to run because they were at first bred to be sled dogs. They were historically bred to be working and companion animals by the Chukchi people, and should always be gentle in nature. The Chukchi people use Siberian huskies to look after their children. Health A 1999 ASPCA publication gives the life span of the Siberian Husky as 12 to 14 years. Health issues in the breed are mainly genetic, such as seizures and defects of the eye (juvenile cataracts, corneal dystrophy, canine glaucoma and progressive retinal atrophy) and congenital laryngeal paralysis.[23] Hip dysplasia is not often found in this breed; however, as with many medium or large-sized canines, it can occur. The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals currently has the Siberian Husky ranked 155th out of a possible 160 breeds at risk for hip dysplasia, with only two percent of tested Siberian Huskies showing dysplasia. Siberian Huskies used for sled racing may also be prone to other ailments, such as gastric disease, bronchitis or bronchopulmonary ailments (“ski asthma”), and gastric erosions or ulcerations. Modern Siberian Huskies registered in the US are largely the descendants of the 1930 Siberia imports and of Leonhard Seppala’s dogs, particularly Togo.[29] The limited number of registered foundational dogs has led to some discussion about their vulnerability to the founder effect.

Famous Siberians Siberians gained in popularity with the story of the “Great Race of Mercy,” the 1925 serum run to Nome, which made dogs Balto and Togo famous. Though Balto is the more famous of the two, and was the dog to deliver the serum to Nome after running the final 53-mile leg, it was Togo who made the longest run of the relay, guiding his musher Leonhard Seppala on a 91-mile journey that included crossing the deadly Norton Sound to Golovin. Several purebred Siberian Huskies portrayed Diefenbaker, the “half-wolf” companion to RCMP Constable Benton Fraser, in the CBS/Alliance Atlantis TV series Due South. In 1960, the US Army undertook a project to construct an under the ice facility for defense and space research, Camp Century, part of Project Ice worm involved a 150+ crew who also brought with them an unofficial mascot, a Siberian Husky named Mukluk. Siberian Huskies are the mascots of the athletic teams of several schools and colleges,
10 SB
including: Northern Illinois University (Northern Illinois Huskies), the University of Connecticut (Connecticut Huskies, Jonathan), the Michigan Technological University (Michigan Tech Huskies, Blizzard) and University of Washington (Washington Huskies, Harry). Siberian Husky is a very special breed with lots of intelligence and fitness, they also adapt well with variable temperature and weather changes yet could be sly and tricky sometimes, it is not recommended to own this breed if you do not have enough time or fair space (minimum of 200 M) They have a tendency to use their mouth a lot by biting as a communication method to grab attention or show dominance on children. If you do not have enough experience with dogs then, using a professional trainer’s service is a must.

Tell us more about yourself and your hobbies My name is Mazen Salem, 24 years old, and I studied English Commerce at Ain Shams University. I love playing football, and I used to play with El Zohour, El Ahly & El Shams’ teams. I also enjoy horseback riding, as well as raising, breeding and handling Siberians. How did your love to dogs develop? And why especially Huskies? My brother started raising dogs 18 years ago, he first had two German Shepherds that lived with us for more than 5 years. Then, my brother sold them before he traveled to Australia. After that time, I felt that there is something missing. One day in 2007 while I was watching a film called ‘Eight Below,’ I started day-dreaming about dogs. In 2008, I took the decision and bought my first Siberian and named him ‘Diego,’ and after 5 months, I got a female called ‘Bella.’ I found that Siberians are beautiful, friendly, energetic, playful, clever and clean. At that time, it was very rare to find a person who is fully acknowledged with the breed, or even know that the breed existed in Egypt. I used to hear comments like whether its a Wolf or another breed, I used to explain that Siberians are sled dogs, which makes them ask about how they survive in Egypt. I actually received a lot of complains from people here and abroad about raising Siberian Huskies in Egypt. I enjoy raising Siberians and I started raising more and more of them as I found that they are adaptable to our weather especially the ones that have been bred in Egypt. I had my first Siberian Husky family then, it turned to be the first specialized Siberian Husky kennel in Egypt, which was called ‘Mazen’s Kennel’ at that time. Siberian Huskies are wonderful dogs, they love to live in a pack with someone who can understand their needs. They might not be the perfect option for a first puppy owner, and that’s why I recommend people who are interested in the breed to read first about them as they might not be able to adapt with them. Can Huskies live in Egypt? Siberian Huskies can easily adapt to the environment they live in including the weather. They are double coated dogs, their inner coats and outer coats protect them from cold weather to keep them warm and let the heat out when its hot. Huskies who were born in Egypt are accustomed to the weather as their coats are less thicker than imported ones through generations. Also, they shed their coats 1 to 2 times per year, and that helps them to cope even more. As long as there is clean water, a suitable place, and
13 SB
enough care for them, they will stay healthy. Some rumors about Siberians include, that they should be shaved, that the AC should be switched on 24/7 for them, and that they should be put in a big ice box. That will definitely cause a negative effect on your Husky; the dog should stay in a temperature and climate that you would stay in. Is it true that Huskies are called escapees? And why? Yes, they also called escaping artists especially if they are left alone for a long time, and it’s not easy to let them off leash at open areas as well because Siberian Huskies are powerful, light and one of the most energetic dogs of all breeds, and the only way to release this energy is by running, which they love. So, they won’t think of anything else if they are free and filled with energy. After they release some of this energy, they may start looking for you and come back again. That’s why we always recommend new owners to have their Huskies exercise at least 20 minutes everyday. If your Husky is living with another companion, it will be much easier for you to control them because they love living with a pack just like they do in the wilderness. What are the requirements and responsibilities that Husky owners should put into consideration? •Siberian Huskies are clean, energetic, and sensitive; never leave them all day in a cage. •Never leave them without water, or directed to the sun in the hot weather all day just like any other breed. •Never leave their meal for a long time in front of them; 20 minutes is enough time. •Spend enough time with your Husky, they will become disobedient, if you don’t give them enough attention. •Siberians are clever, never underestimate them. •Watch videos for professional trainers about how
14 SB
to train your Husky, and start from day one. •Take good care of your Husky’s coat and brush it daily if you can; it won’t take you more than a minute. •Never leave your Husky off leash in open areas without making sure that it’s well-trained. •Never mate your Husky to any of it’s siblings, father, mother, or any of it’s offsprings; only very specialized breeders do this under close surveillance. •Pay attention to your Husky and have him exercise everyday at least 20 minutes to keep it healthy and happy. What is the difference between owning a show dog and a family companion? I joined the ‘All Breed Dog Show’ in Egypt in 2012 with my Siberians. I went with my family, met new wonderful people, made new friends, saw a lot of beautiful dogs, and knew judges’ opinions about my dogs, I really had a new & great experience. My Siberians got amazing titles and had beautiful trophies. Then, I started taking dog shows a little more seriously. I joined with my Siberians most of the registered ‘All Breed Dog Shows’ in Egypt since they started in 2012, and they were tilted as ‘Best in Breed’ and ‘Best in Group 1,’ and also competed in the finals for the ‘Best in Show’ title at all shows we joined during these years. A show dog is judged on it’s adherence to the breed standards, the more equivalent your dogs is to the breed’s standards, the higher the possibility it gets titles and win in the ring, which describes an ideal dog based on the dog’s physical appearance, movement, structure, and temperament. Each dog in the ring is judged upon it’s own standard, the dog that presents him/herself well with your
handling techniques, and one which the judge feels is the closest to the breed standard wins. Family companion dogs are mainly for people who are not willing to join shows and for working class dogs, which are dogs that don’t highly follow their showline standards.
Republic. Unfortunately, Europe Union didn’t allow PlayMor to enter Europe due to the importing rules and regulations. I believe that this is a great step for the Egyptian dog market abroad, and next time I wish we can compete worldwide and win more titles.
What is the best title you have won? The ‘Supreme Best in Show,’ and ‘Best in Show #1.’ The last international dog show in Egypt was the first of it’s kind, and the biggest entry of foreigner professional breeders Joining with their dogs to compete for the ‘Best in Show’ title. I joined with two of my Siberians, a male called ‘PlayMor’s Wild Ride,’ and a female called ‘Melita’s Dream Boun Amore.’ PlayMor was titled as the ‘Best Male Siberian Husky,’ and Amore was titled as the ‘Best female Siberian Husky.’ Then, PlayMor won the ‘Best of Breed’ title, also won the ‘Best in Group 1’ then, he competed for the ‘Best in show’ title for the Egyptian Show and won the first place. After that, there was a special competition between the Egyptian BIS Winner and the International BIS Winner for the ‘Supreme Best in Show’ title, which PlayMor won. I was then nominated to represent Egypt by BIS Ch. PlayMor’s Wild Ride at the ‘Eukanuba World Challenge Qualifications’ at the ‘European Dog Show 2014’ at Brno, Czech
What is your advice as a professional breeder to junior breeders? Never stop reading about the breed, join registered shows and feel the experience, try to stay away from disqualified standards, try to concentrate on your breeding plans, and stay together for raising the breed standards and for a better future for our breed in Egypt. What are the advantages of the Egyptian market? I think that the Egyptian market now has improved much more than before, as there are many pet stores, vets, training kennels, boarding kennels, groomers, and a lot of extra services that keep your dog safe and healthy. Also, Registered Organization for Purifying the Breeds now exists in Egypt to register your dogs, issue pedigrees, join shows, and many other services.
15 SB
Now dog shows in Egypt caused high competition between breeders, which lead to great bloodlines and high dog standards among all breeds in Egypt. What are the disadvantages of the Egyptian market? There are 339 certified breeds and the Egyptian breeders are concentrating on less than 35 of these breeds, maybe this would be an advantage for breeders here to start specializing in other unique breeds. Some rumors and disadvantages about Huskies include: many people are still interested in long hair or wooly coated Siberian Huskies, and these type of Huskies are disqualified in the ring because of their overly filled coats, but normal Huskies are of medium coat as written in the breed standards. Some people believe that a brown-eyed Siberian Husky is not pure, that is not true as Siberian Huskies have four registered eye colors, also professional Siberians Husky breeders abroad usually prefer brown eyes as it’s a stronger eye gene. Many people interested
16 SB
in the breed look for a big or a giant sized Siberian Huskies, Siberians are medium-sized dogs. Sometimes people ask me about the best coat color for Huskies, I believe that it depends on the color you prefer, it’s exactly the same like eye colors. How do you see yourself in 5 years time? I see myself winning the world dog show with one of my own Siberians.  What do you think of Showbox? A specialized, unique and professional magazine, it is very helpful and beneficial for people. I wish you all the best of luck & thank you.

Amazing Facts about
We’ve all heard about different dog breeds, and some of their habits, but there are definitely things that we haven’t heard of. And so, we have brought you 20 amazing facts about dogs that will surely fascinate you..
Newfoundlands are great swimmers because of their webbed feet, on the other hand, Basset Hounds can’t swim due to their heavy front and short legs.
The Basenji is the only barkless dog in the world. The basenji is the only breed of dog that can’t bark, but they can yodel!
Unlike humans, dogs don’t have sweat glands all over their body, just on the pads of their paws. The Norwegian Lundehund is the only dog that has six toes on each foot!

Dogs can smell about 1,000 times better than humans. While humans have 5 million smell-detecting cells, dogs have more than 220 million. The part of the brain that interprets smell is also four times larger in dogs than in humans.
Dog nose prints are as unique as human finger prints and can be used to identify them.
The reason dogs curl up is because of an age-old instinct to keep them warm and to protect vital organs while they sleep.
The wetness of a dog’s nose is essential for determining what direction a smell is coming from.
Dalmatian puppies are born completely white and develop their spots over time!
Dogs don’t enjoy being hugged as much as humans and other primates. Canines interpret putting a limb over another animal as a sign of dominance. Petting dogs is proven to lower blood pressure of dog owners.
Majority of dogs have pink tongues, only the Chow Chow and the Shar Pei inherently have blue-black tongues.
19 SB
Spiked dog collars were invented in ancient Greece and were originally designed to protect dog’s throats from wolf attacks. Dogs are about as smart as a two or three-year-old child. This means they can understand about 150-200 words, including signals and hand movements with the same meaning as words.
It is much easier for dogs to learn spoken commands if they are given in conjunction with hand signals or gestures.
It is a myth that dogs are color blind. They only have two cones in their eyes to detect colors, whereas humans have three. That means dogs see colors on a blue and yellow scale but cannot distinguish between red and green. On the other hand, they have better night vision than humans.
Smiling at your dog may make him feisty. Dogs see your smile not as friendly body language, but detect your “bearing teeth” as a sign of aggression.
The average dog can run about 19 mph. Greyhounds are the fastest dogs on earth and can run at speeds of 45 mph. A Greyhound can beat an Arabic horse in a race! The most intelligent dogs are reportedly the Border Collie and the Poodle, while the least intelligent dogs are the Afghan Hound and the Basenji.

Demodicosis
s g o D n i e s Skin Disea Demodicosis is an inflammatory parasitic disease of dogs and rarely cats characterized by increased number of Demodicosis mites in hair follicles and epidermis (the outer layer of the skin) which maybe localized or generalized leading to chronic secondary bacterial skin infections. Dr. Aziz Sharaf El-Din tell us about the diseases, it’s causes and it’s treatment..
22 SB
How can I know if my dog is suffering from Demodicosis? You need to take your dog to your vet to be checked and he will make a deep skin scraping in the middle of the lesion and check it under microscope for eggs, nymphs and adult mites and to see if it’s in large number or not. Can my dog be treated from Demodicosis? Always check with your vet which is the suitable treatment for the case of your dog. Localized Demodicosis can be treated locally with Benzoyl peroxidw shampoo and ointment which provide good follicular flushing action and prevent secondary bacterial infection or Rotenone ointment (Goodwinol).
Causes There are 3 species of mites causing Demodicosis identified in dogs : Demodicosis Canis, Demodicosis injai and un-named short bodied Demodicosis species. Demodicosis is part of the normal fauna of the skin (typically present in small numbers in hair follicles and sebaceous glands of the skin. Infection develops when number of mites exceeds those tolerated by immune system of the body.
In Generalized Demodicosis, Benzoyl peroxide shampoo bathing to kill the bacteria, cleab debris, flush keratin and mites out of hair follicles prior to dipping the dog with miticidal dip as (Amitraz) dip (used according to manufacturer’s recommended dose). Ivermectin can be used as subcutaneous injection. Always check with your vet the best protocol of treatment with the appropriate dose and intervals according to your dog’s case, body weight and general health condition.
How can my dog get infected with Demodicosis? Puppies and young dogs are more prone to Demodicosis than adult dogs, but healthy puppies generally clear the infection within few weeks. Puppies and adult dogs that are stressed or physically ill are prone to develop Demodicosis as in these cases: anxiety, estrous, pregnancy, nursing puppies, intestinal worms or heartworms, diabetes, cushing disease infections, cancer or dogs on steroim medications for long time. What will my dog show when he has Demodicosis? There will be mild lesion of erythema and scale with patches localized in face around the eyes or in trunk or legs, in case of Localized Demodicosis. Or in case of Generalized Demodicosis it will be widespread with multiple poorly circumscribed patches of erythema, alopecia and scales, and the hair follicles become distended with large numbers of mites, and with progression the skin becomes severly inflamed, infected and exudative with secondary bacterial infection.

don’t Your dog’s health and behavior
Don’t Leave the food out all the time if your dog is a picky eater, so if he/she didn’t eat their food in 15-20 minutes, remove the meal and put it back in a couple of hours for another 15 minutes. Don’t Let the dog sleep in your bed, it’s very common now that people especially children take the dog with them to bed, that’s not good for your health because your dog goes out everyday and they can be exposed to a number of things that you can be allergic to, also Doctor Chomel, a professor at the University of California - Davis School of Veterinary Medicine said “that there’s also a risk of transmission of life-threatening infection like plague, internal parasites and other serious diseases, that can be very severe for immunocompromised people and children.” Also, when the dog sleeps on your bed that causes the dog to get confused because that’s how he understands that he’s an equal member of the pack so that can lead to aggressive behavior with you or your kids if you or your kids ordered him to get down. Do Take your dog out every day, play with him, and take a walk with him because dogs that don’t go out to stretch their legs, use their noses and/or play with others literally go crazy and drive their

Put Yourself in Their Shoes

Beautiful actress Hana Shiha, known for her extraordinary roles, is also known for her love and devotion to pets. Sherihan Hamed speaks to lovely Hana about her pets, her hobbies and more..
Tell us more about yourself and your hobbies My name is Hana Shiha, I’m a 34 years old actress. I am addicted to reading, and I love pets so much. Are you a dog person or a cat person? You can call me a cat as well as a dog person, I love and own both of them, but sometimes I feel I am more of a cat person because I love big cats like lions and tigers. I remember when I found out about “Karyet El Asad,” located on the CairoAlexandria dessert road, I went to watch the lion that dances with the man, I thought that it’s just a big cat that I can handle just the way I handle my cat. I went to the guard back stage and asked him to let me go into the cage with the lion, he agreed as he thought that I will get scared; however, he was surprised when he found me going into the cage holding the lion from his cheeks and playing with him like my cat, the lion wasn’t aggressive at all. They also have two lions with my kids’ names. I still go whenever I get the chance to. How long have you been raising dogs? I got a family friend’s dog when i was 5 years old, and he stayed with me for two years, but had to leave for a dramatic reason. I got attached to
him so much because he was smart and obedient. He used to run everyday in the morning after the school bus, and wait for me in the street till I come back. That’s when my love and attachment for pets started. What do you have to say to people who don’t like dogs? I’d say that they didn’t give themselves the chance to love them, if anyone have a bad experience with dogs, they have to know that there must be a reason for it. Be kind and have sympathy for them because they have the right to live on earth as we all do, don’t kill them, and put yourself in their shoes. Is there a special incident related to you and your dog that you would like to share? Actually, I have one with my cat. He was very sick when he died. He refused that anyone give him the medicine but me. One day, I had a very important thing to do in Cairo, and so, I went with my sister Hala for two days. When we got back I asked my mum about “Tamatem,” my cat, she told me that he refused to take the medicine and that he is dying. Hala and I started crying, I held him and
27 SB
looked into his eyes and then he died. It took my family around five hours to convince me that he has to be buried. Tamatem was very clean, he didn’t like to sit or walk on the floor, he only jumped on the couches. So, I thought that wasn’t appropriate to bury him. Only when we placed him in a box tied with my mums pashmina I agreed to bury him; I will never be able to forget that incident. As an actress imitating different characters, do you find it soothing to get back home after a long day at work and meet the only creature who never acts or imitate? It’s very calming to walk with my dog after a long day at work, or even a bad day. The first thing I do when I go home is spend some time with “Rocky,” my dog then, leave him to play. Pets love us unconditionally and they know that you’re the one who take care of them, they feel everything you feel, they know when you feel sick or when you get depressed they become cuddly and do their best to cheer you up. Do you believe that the way you deal with your dog affects his behavior? Of course, none of my dogs ever beaten me nor
28 SB
any of my cats scratched me even when I hit them on their hands if they misbehaved. I also trained my cat to jump on my shoulder and walk with her in the street, she never jumped or scratched my clothes. Animals are smart creatures, they understand and obey what their owner tells them as long as you’re patient and not aggressive with them. What is your advice for the Egyptian community of dog owners? It’s a must that you pay attention to the dog’s health, you should also spend some quality time with them everyday even if you’re tired, they have the right to eat, play and live a healthy and happy life. What do you think of Showbox? We need these kind of magazines in Egypt because the Egyptian community of dog owners need the right information from trusted source so, I believe that it’s necessary to have a small guide that has all the information that you need.

Tell us more about yourself and your history with kids with special needs My name is Rasha Soliman. I studied at Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo. Since 1997, I have had more than ten solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions. You can find my collection in Museum of Modern Egyptian Art in Cairo and El Shona Museum in Alexandria. There are several private collections of my art work in Egypt as well as in France and Germany. I opened my ‘Atelier Rasha Soliman’ in 1999, which expanded under the name of ‘Barah Art Instruction Training’ in 2009 when we designed Art and Craft development programs and training for children, youth and adults and we continued in programs for children with special needs. I also cooperated with organizations as Unicef, FEDA, Wekalet Audi Basha, Egyptian Swiss Development Fund, Bibliotheca Alexandria, Gudran for Art and Development, Islamic Pottery Museum, El Gezira Art Center, American University Art Junior Summer Program and supervised a lot of children exhibitions, events and art competitions. We participated in many national and international exhibitions and competitions with kids from our programs and we got a lot of prizes. I started to work with children with special needs in 1995. I was amazed how kids in my classes gain their freedom and independence and how they always surprise me with their creativity and happy smiles when they make their designs. Nowadays we offer alternate projects that everyone can find their comfort level. Our current Art & Craft Development Special Needs Programs were created for: •Children with special visual needs. •Children with needs arise from a speech difficulty. •Children with sensory communication disabilities. •Children with autism. Barah Art Instruction Training cooperates in those programs also with societies as Nidaa Society for children with communication disorder, Montessoribaity society for children with special needs, but we also have some solo cases with doctors supervision. Can you tell us about one of your students? And how would you describe the positive effect of your dogs in her case? I would like to tell you about my present student Lobna Assem. She has been attending our Jewelry Craft Development Program for around 7 months. Lobna and I have been working on improving her skills and abilities, her fine motor

coordination and finding the right balance between assisting her and allowing her freedom and independence. Jewelry craft is unique for its variability - working with different materials, various tools of different sizes and there is numerous technics that you can use, but all of them needs bit of patience and willingness to learn. She could sense her achievements and what is more important her efforts were well rewarded, admired and displayed. In all our classes, we had 2 great assistants – my 9 years old male Picky and 8 years old female Lady (Labrador Retrievers). They did the most important work by preparing Lobna for each class. Lobna got rid of all the negative moods and effects from outer world by only 15 minutes playtime with Picky and Lady. They always gave her their endless love, attention and they were always in good and playful mood. Playtime ended by giving them treats and we could start working on positive vibe. Did you own any dogs during your childhood? Yes I had dogs. I was a child without sister or brother till I was 7 years old so my dogs were a great companion and wonderful friends. They helped me to get up early and they made me run
32 SB
around a lot. I spent most of the day outside with my dogs playing Fetch and exploring garden. Do you think that dogs can help in your work with kids? From my own experience when I was a kid I can tell you that there are several reasons why dogs are great pets for kids. They are amazing and loyal friends, they help children to be active and healthy. Children learn responsibility by taking care of their dog on a daily bases. They have to feed and walk their dogs, look after them, clean them and clean after them. Using dogs for my work with kids helps breaking the walls between us and eases to establish rules of our classes and of course brings playful and cheering mood. This is why dogs are used worldwide in therapies related to autism, cancer, handicapped or even old people.

Temperament
Assessment
By Ashraf Slieem
The Temperament Assessment consists of several individual tests designed to place varying amounts of stress on the dog. These tests have been designed to simulate circumstances that might occur during an outing with the dog.
Behavior towards Strangers: Objective: measure the dog’s reaction to strangers in a nonthreatening situation. A friendly stranger meets and greats the handler, no attention is paid to the dog. The Instructions will be given to the handler. A Friendly stranger will make overtures to the dog and will touch the dog. The dog and handler will go through a group of standing people from all directions. These people just stand there for a few moments so the judge will evaluate.
36 SB
Reaction to (Sound):
MR. HASHEM EL DANDARAWY PRESIDENT OF GERMAN SHEPHERD CLUB
Objective: measure alertness to aural stimuli and the degree of investigative behavior toward the stimuli. Can-rattling: after the rattling begins, the dog is allowed to approach a hidden place to investigate the source of the noise. As the dog comes around the place to discover the source of the sound and investigate the can, the dog is given 30 seconds to make a close inspection. Dog maybe encouraged by the using phrases like “what’s that?” or “find it.”
Reaction to Visual Stimuli: Objective: measure the dog’s reaction to sudden visual stimuli, degree of investigative behavior and startle recovery. Umbrella Test: handler and dog proceed toward the assistant sitting and when the dog is about 3M (no closer) from the tip of the umbrella, it will be opened directly toward the dog. The open umbrella is then lowered and rested on the ground while the assistant retains the handle in his hand. He dog is allowed to move forward (with encouragement if necessary) to investigate the umbrella. It is the recovery that is judged.

Raising Children & Dogs Together
A housewife and a grandmother, Haneya Abdel Raouf hasn’t only devoted her love and care for her husband, children and grandchildren, but for her dogs too. Haneya speaks to us about her dogs and her views on raising dogs along with children.
40 SB
Tell us more about yourself and your hobbies My name is Haneya Abdel Raouf and I’m 55 years old housewife. I have 3 children; two young men and a young lady. They are all married and have lovely children. Who was your first dog? My first dog was a female German Shepherd “Petty.“ She was an amazing bright dog since her early days. Actually, she was my son’s dog, but I ended up taking care of her. After she died from breast cancer, I decided not to have any dogs anymore, but again after several years my son got another male German Shepherd “Mighty.” He was indescribably loving, caring, bright, fierce and good looking. I grieved for a year after his death, and I still dream of him till now. What was surprising for you as a first time dog owner? Having dogs at home has an astonishing effect; they give you a reason to go home happily and willingly. The way they meet you and the gratitude they have towards you is endless. Do you have any other dogs at the present time? As for the time being, my daughter has a male Golden Retriever, who is completely different from German Shepherds. Why especially German Shepherd? I prefer German Shepherd because they are handsome, well built, intelligent, eager, loyal, hard working, strong-willed, fearless, obedient, protective and handy. Do you think that raising kids next to dogs can affect children positively? Yes indeed, raising dogs with children is very positive as you teach your child to be responsible, giving, caring and merciful. Plus, children’s exposure to companion animals may also ease anxiety according to several tests that had been done. Also, it has been proven that dogs and cats owners had lower resting heart rates and blood pressure measures. Pet ownership might also be an important source of social support for elderly people. What is your advice to Egyptian people who might find dogs disgusting and scary? I believe that Egyptians who don’t like pets especially dogs are missing a lot. We still have some traditions that are hard to change. What do you think of Showbox? I like it very much; it provides useful information that any pet owner might be looking for.

Shelter
For Animals Welfare
Known to be actively working to improve animal welfare in Egypt, ESMA has been the talk of the town since 2007. ESMA charitable organization operates both a shelter and an adoption center located on Al Mansoureya Road. ESMA speaks to Nora Assem about who they are, their activities and facilities and more..
42 SB
Tell us more about ESMA We are The Egyptian Society for Mercy to Animals. Founded by a small group of Egyptians and expatriates, we are a non-profit organization dealing with all manner of animal related issues in Egypt. We work mostly with rescued cats and dogs with emergency cases and accident or abuse related injuries or targeted poisoning and shooting. We also deal with working horses and donkeys that are often involved in traffic accidents or worked hard then left to die. Some cases end up living at our place permanently mostly including animals with permanent disabilities like paralysis, missing limbs or blindness among other things. What are some of the problems or difficulties facing animal shelters in Egypt? For many years, we have been trying to convince the government to abandon the shooting and poisoning method of street animal population control and adopt the spay, neuter and vaccine method. It has been proven effective in several countries and helps keep somewhat of a balanced system by limiting reproduction and keeping a healthy population, which in turn keeps rodents and other unwelcome guests from overrunning the area. One of the biggest problems we face is people’s attitude and it is usually related to cultural issues, incorrect medical/
veterinary information or religious misconceptions. Ideas like “it’s dirty or you will catch something if you touch it,” “if you don’t (do whatever it is) i’ll make the dog bite you,” “it’s an animal, it doesn’t feel anything,” “black cats and dogs are bad luck, get rid of them,” and the general lack of correct information and abundance of incorrect information. This makes it all more difficult to help the animals and the people they live around. Another thing is all the improperly disposed of garbage in the streets, it encourages all kinds of animals to gather and call those places home. Most people are not willing to adopt a shelter animal, specially the “baladi” or local street dogs. Despite their intelligence, colorful personalities and resilient immune systems people rarely adopt them. One of the major difficulties we faces was the time after the Revolution when there were no tourists, most of the horse and camel riding businesses around the pyramids and that area could not afford to feed or care for the animals. We worked in the area for approximately one and a half years providing free medical care and basic nutrition, but were unable to continue for longer due to lack of recourses. What about animal abuse and how to prevent it? Animal abuse and/or lack of care is a huge issue we face all the time. We try to explain that it is not just about the animals, children who are allowed
43 SB
and sometimes even encouraged to abuse or mistreat animals often grown up to have a violent streak which can be harmful the people around them. Unfortunately, we have a large number of problems around the pet industry and regulations few of which include, keeping animals in less than adequate conditions, over breeding females, shops and breeders operating without any health standards or licensing whatsoever and the fact that nothing happens when someone is accused of or caught abusing an animal. We receive lots of complaints of abuse, but people seem to be reluctant to step in and stop it. Most people do not understand that abuse, mistreatment and lack of care to animals comes back to us in many ways the form of a cat scratching our hand out of fear to eating less than healthy meat due to unnecessary cruelty and poor conditions. What is fostering? The fostering system is when a shelter animal temporarily goes to live with a volunteer before going to their adopted family or back to the shelter. Sometimes there are puppies that are too young to go in with the dogs at the shelter, other times a cat needs a quiet place to get over fear or nurse back to health, we give these cases and others to foster families who care for them until they can return to the shelter or get adopted. Lots
44 SB
of people love animals but are unable to have pets full time so they foster, its a win/win situation for them and the shelter. What would you ask people to do to help? We are not asking everyone to love animals, you don’t even have to like them, we just ask that you do not harm or neglect them and not stand by idly while others do so. People who want and are able to do something to help can do so in many ways. Shelters in general, not only ESMA, have big bills, food, medical care, spay neuter and vaccine campaigns and other things mostly paid for by donations from the public, which are accepted in form of goods or financial aid. We also need volunteers to help at the shelter and with the work we do outside, you can come in, get involved and help with the care or just walk the dogs with us for a couple hours on weekends. We also encourage people to involve, educate and raise the awareness of children about these issues so they can hopefully be avoided in coming generations. And of course, foster or adopt a shelter animal if you can.

Konde
The Slovakian Trainer
A Slovakian trainer and a first class helper, Tomas Konde is famous for his great achievements in training and working dogs; he is definitely a master. Tomas speaks with us about himself, his achievements as well as his trip to Egypt in January 2015..
46 SB
Tell us more about yourself and your hobbies My name is Tomas Konde, I´m Slovakian dog trainer and licensed first class helper, which is the highest rank that allows me to work as a helper in national and international trials and championships. I come from a family that is fully dedicated to breeding German Shepherd and dog training. Besides dog related activities, my hobbies are hiking, swimming, traveling and Aikido.
What are your expectations about working in Egypt, a foreign country and especially in a different culture? I am looking forward to coming to your country. I like Egypt and it´s culture a lot, I would like to get to know Egyptian people. I am confident that we will get along very well. I’ll be glad to train your dogs and pass on my skills to you, and you can teach me more about your culture and traditions.
How did you become a professional helper? As I said earlier, I am coming from dog trainer´s family. When I was 9 years old my dad encouraged me to give my first bite to a dog. To be honest, it didn´t look like a job at all. One could describe it more as a dog fetching a kid with a huge sleeve instead of fetching a ball. This strange adrenalin experience inflamed my passion for helper as a job and kynology in general.
What are your achievements in training and working as a helper? After the obligatory helper training and passing tests I became third class helper at my 19 years. I was very motivated to raise my qualification to become second class helper. So, already a year later, I fulfilled all needed requirements and passed advanced tests. I was a helper at Slovakian Championship VVS Cup for IPO1 and IPO3 trials and another over 20 competitions. After gaining enough experience and improving my skills I could apply for elite first class tests. The first class opened my door to international competitions. My present personal goal is to become a helper at World championships.
We are informed that you are coming to Egypt to train. Where and when can we see you? I am coming to Egypt in January 2015. I will be training protection dogs – Personal bodyguards, IPO and I will provide several workshops and dog circles as a contract partner of Jacket Rust Training Facility. Many people would argue that Egypt hasn’t been safe for the past three years. How did you decide to work in Egypt? I won´t lie, the security matter came to my mind but my curiosity and attractive offer won over my fears.
With reference to the protection training, what qualities and skills should a good helper have? Anybody can put on a sleeve or a bite suit and work dogs. But, being a good helper is more than just giving bites. A good helper should be able to correctly identify dog´s character, predict his actions accordingly and adapt the entire training to his needs. Helper should be patient, resourceful,
47 SB
quick in reactions and especially make right decisions that won´t hurt or discourage dogs. And of course, he should have excellent mental and physical condition. Can all breeds be trained for protection or just some? And why? In most cases, I train working breeds as German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Bullmastiffs, Boxers and others. But from time to time, you find individuals of different breeds with temperament suitable for protection training. Just to give you one example of many I trained Jack Russel for basic protection. What character or what skills should have a good protection dog? Good protection dog should have a proper working temperament, which includes selfconfidence, steadfast nerves, willingness to work, trainability, courage, mental stability, no psychological conflicts, and skills as firm grip, endurance, and especially the protection dog should never break under the helper´s pressure and should be always controllable by his handler.
48 SB
As a trainer and helper, what is your advice for us to develop a basic protection drives? At what age can we start? Protection training can begin at an early age. A development of protection drives starts by building hunting instinct and natural but controlled aggression towards humans. Can you tell us a funny story that happened to you while you were working as a helper? When you live and work with animals you experience a lot of fun. I have tons of funny stories and I will tell you one story from my beginnings. While I was in the IPO training in the fall season and the training arena was a bit muddy. We started practicing escape bites and the handler sent the dog to stop me when I realized that my feet are dug deep in mud. I couldn’t move and I had to face fast approaching dog. When the dog took his bite I found out that the dog set me free from the mud because he actually took my soccer shoes off.

Tell us more about yourself and Moon Island My name is Hazem Khamis, I am a Managing Partner at Moon Island camp in Nuweiba. It all started when I became a regular visitor to Nuweiba and the camps in the area, then it became a dream to get out of the city and do my own business in Sinai. I then met Waleed Ismail, my partner, and we arranged the project in March 2012 & the camp was inaugurated. Moon Island became a destination for families, youth & groups from universities looking for relaxation and serenity. What is the history of dogs in Sinai? Long ago, dogs in Sinai were trained by Bedouins to shepherd their sheep and goats in the desert and to protect the herd from wild animals in the desert. Dogs in the desert can be easily compared to the Bedouins when it comes to adapting to the harsh living conditions. Desert dogs have a high survival instinct, where they hunt for food, their sense of sight, smell and hearing are very alert to protect themselves from any
danger. When we look at desert dogs, we find that they can run for longer distance than dogs living in the city, hence, they are always in a better shape and weight. Their teeth are always clean and decay free due to the bones they are used to eat. These dogs have higher tolerance to pain because animals in the wild must look and act in good health and shape to avoid attacks from other dogs. Desert dog are territorial and they communicate with each other, you never find a dog in the desert intrude into another dog’s territory, they have a code which they respect. Unlike city dogs, they are petted, served food and water so, their hunting instinct diminishes by time. The lack of exercise is unhealthy, and dogs tend to gain weight, and later start suffering from joints problems. If city dogs are not well socialized with other dogs and learn to use their primary instinct, they tend to become either too aggressive or too coward with other dogs. Even the natural healing abilities for city dogs decreases by time.
51 SB
Tell us more about Cuba, your dog Cuba was born and grew up in Cairo. I had her when she was 3 months old, that was before we started the camp project. We lived in an apartment and had to train her to cope with that space and her territory was just the apartment space. We used to walk her twice a day and take her to gardens to see other dogs and interact with them at an early age, but of course the exercise time was limited and that frustrated her. We took her with us when we traveled to the beach when she was 5 months old. As soon as she saw the sea, she began to swim all by herself, and this is another instinct that diminishes with many city dogs. When we moved to Nuweiba, she adapted naturally with the surrounding. She became very protective of her territory, and she started to communicate with other desert dogs easily to dominate in her area. She learned the code due to the open space and freedom she is enjoying, her health statues improved, her appetite increased, and the activity level is controlled.
52 SB
What type of dog owners are you expecting? And what services do you provide? At Moon Island, we only welcome responsible owners, the ones who care about their dogs and treat them like family. Those who own dogs to show off are easily spotted by the way they treat them and the amount of communication. This type of owners usually have confused or traumatized dogs or at time very aggressive with other dogs and even people. So, we have very strict rules when it comes to guests with dogs including,
• Dogs must be well socialized with both humans and other dogs. • Dogs must have the minimum level of communication with their owners to be able to obey orders. • Dogs must always be supervised and not locked or tied in the heat or inside the hut.
These are simple rules that if followed, will make the owner and dog’s stay very comfortable and enjoyable. As for the services we provide, it is in our near future plan to have an in house kennel, but for the time being dogs are provided with many advantages like total freedom where they can run, swim and play with their masters or with other dogs. The healthy environment they are surrounded by where the air they breath is different than the city’s and the sea water that has many benefits for the skin and coat. Also, the beach and surrounding area are clean so, hygiene wise there is no worry about it. We also have a first aid kit available for dogs and my wife is trained to use it. What about the security state? Many people are confused or stressed when Sinai is mentioned. But actually, in Nuweiba the situation is very stable and the city didn’t suffer from the insecurity that occurred in Cairo. In Nuweiba, tourists enjoy their stress-free vacation under the protection of the police and Bedouin themselves, who are keen to preserve the security of their city to remain a prefered destination for tourists. Where is Moon Island located? And what are the means of transportation that people can use? Nuweiba is around 460 KM away from Cairo. It is reachable by car, bus (East Delta) or private shuttle via the mid-Sinai road. Also, people can fly to Sharm El Sheik and take a taxi to Nuweiba (around 180 KM). The private shuttles can be rented when booking your vacation at Moon Island. The owner of the fleet and drivers are very polite and trustworthy. How do you find Showbox? Showbox is an extremely useful magazine for dog owners community, it is something that we always wanted to see happening. I found it a reliable reference in hand with new information, health and training tips and contacts that we can benefit from. Keep up the good job.

Bill ShoutBy MoOut Wafa
Bill is a dog who lives among urban cities that observes and analyzes everything around in an intellectual way that might seem critical, sarcastic or comic at times. There is a hidden message behind Bill’s thoughts or philosophical threads that could help building up a neutral culture of man and dog living in harmony. Bill: the dog. Jasson: Bill’s owner. Manuella: Jasson’s wife. Jasson: Honey did you feed Bill today?
Jasson: Mmmmm..amuse me. Manuella: Not only did he dig around all our plants, but escaped through the fence and humped on our neighbors’ dog too. I really don’t know how to explain it to our neighbor. Bill: Deal with it. Jasson: Excuse me?!! What was that?! Manuella: See, I told you he is such a stubborn dog that should be sent immediately to a dog shelter. I just can’t stand him anymore. Bill: Yes I agree, I bet it would be much more fun than chasing a mud worm all day long. Jasson: Well, I guess I have to consider this option from now on, right Bill?
Manuella: No hun, I think he does not deserve it. Jasson: Ahhh, don’t tell me. Did he do it again?
Bill: I guess I have no other option. Actually, I never had one. I don’t get to choose where to live, how or why?
Bill: Oh here we go!! Manuella: Well, I have to admit, he is quite creative this time.
Jasson: You are saying non sense. No dog gets to have these choices just like us humans, we were born in a life that delivers us to the present.

Bill: Yeah, but at least you do not have a grumpy master that is waiting 24/7 to get you busted.
Jasson: Bill! your words are scratching my selfesteem.
Jasson: That is not true. We get our boss at work to have it nicely done.
Bill: It was meant to be like this. Have you ever heard of a dog wearing glasses? or using Viagra? or ordering food delivery? Have you ever heard of a drunken dog driver accident or a dog using nuclear bomb? I guess not...Here is my message to you Jasson, perimittivity is natural. It is the definition of full functioning of human/dog organs according to the life trip requirements. If you will thrive for satisfying your fertile creature instinct, you won’t have the power or time to substitute it by an angry destructive reflects of greed, domination and war habit. If we canines have ever tried domination then, it was meant to be for the sake of a better life. We dominate our bitches as a proof of secured and stable future. We don’t carry hatred among shoulder or vicious evidence of perfection. We know we are categorized as carnivores according to your scientific classifieds then let us be. Let us taste this grassy live rabbit, who gazed at the rainbow for so long, let us choke its coat and learn how to use our jaws, let us enjoy the intensive chase that requires a fit well fed earned body profile, let us flip our joy twists and crack the boarder limits of disabilities. Learn from us, imitate us, possess our reactions, you would win a utopian present. It’s more than enough to get you back to righteous human future track.
Bill: I guess it’s still your choice, you have decided to drift through the modern life hierarchy with all it’s ups and downs. It’s a decorated method of self-destruction, you have abandoned your natural instinct for the sake of an easy approach to a fragile future. Jasson: I just do not get it! How is that related to our topic? Bill: For sure it is. You are mad at me for practicing my natural basic instinct, I am a Dachshund, I was bred to chase small animals among caves and tunnels. It itches me down there to practice my drives. Do you think it is normal to have your food delivered within 20 minutes to your door? Do you think it is also normal for me to have a daily meal from this hydrated dry chalk sack? Nooo, I refuse to reflect you humans as a lazy slobby dog evolution experiment. Jasson: EXPERIMENT!!! I don’t need to spend a fortune every month on dog experiment while I could easily let you starve back down in the neighborhood searching for a bread loaf, isn’t it more convenient? Bill: Pride comes out of self confidence thus, needs life experience, achievements and impacts for me. I refused to give up on my instinct of earning my living the way I was created for. No matter how hard it is, I will always find it the most convenient way of living, which is practicing my survival skills. You humans tend to create what destroys your generations, you tend to enjoy what controls you, you have forgotten what color the rainbow is, the dry toasted autumn and the humid spongy blossoms. Can you see how defected you have become? I’m sorry if I refuse to live that inverted gravity of humans versus dogs.

Jasson: Bill, I’m speechless.. Bill: Then, let it be. It’s the flow of a reality flash back shock. Search your ancestors history instead of searching my pedigree bloodlines then, you will learn how to stand up this slippery unstable board of life.
