Praise Jesus! Thank you for your time and attention! It is time for a progress report on Life Church! I want to especially tell you how thankful we are for the support you have given to the vision of Life Church. When we began plans for our Grand Opening a little more than a year ago we could not have seen the miraculous ways that God has made the way! Our daily prayer continues to be “Lord Jesus, open every door you want us to walk through and close those that you do not�. VICTORIES The number of victories we have seen in the past year are countless; to God be the glory! Great things He has done! Here are some updates: Growth for us is measured in Spiritual maturity rather than Sunday attendance but we are pleased with the progress in both areas. In the past year attendance has grown from about 20 to an average just over 60. For our 1st Anniversary at the Oldham Campus (April 19th, 2015) we had 93 in attendance! All of them were Life Church people; meaning these are all souls that consider Life Church their family and home! God is multiplying our seed! Expansion. We are excited to announce that we have begun launching a new campus in Trimble County Kentucky. This second campus is in the next county over and we are already averaging more than 80 souls a week!
We have made the decision to re-launch our nascent Hispanic ministry. After much prayer and consideration we have partnered with Pastors Hinmer & Katia Zuniga to lead our Hispanic ministry. We changed our Hispanic church name to Centro Cristiano Bethel (Oldham County). The Zuniga’ have 3 other Kentucky campuses (Warsaw, Carrollton & Dry Ridge). We had a special service which included our ministry and the other area Hispanic Bethel Churches; 222 people attended! Spiritual Development. Dr. Barney Phillips has done an exemplary job developing Life Track at both the Oldham County and Trimble County campuses. Now we are making plans to offer Life Track to other churches both local and across the country. FINANCES. Finances have been good. We are thankful that we have never been late on our commitments! Praise Jesus! He has provided! It is in part because of your faithfulness to support us in not only finances but in prayer! Thank you!
LIFE CHURCH NETWORK Because there are so many people who are hurting. We have strategized on ways we can duplicate our efforts using Life Church as a model for new church plants and more. We are moving forward with a network of Life-giving Churches that we are dubbing Life Church Network. CHALLENGES Life Church needs a 15 passenger van. We are making multiple trips to haul people to church and ministry events because of the good response. While we are meeting our on-going obligations; raising money to purchase a van is a challenge. Please pray with us, believe with us and ask God what He would have you to do to help us bring others to ministry training, church and youth events. You can help! We are also concerned with the growing number of homeless or dispossessed people in our area. We have many people in our area living in their cars. The Life Church family is doing all we can but there are many people who need a place to stay. We are working toward acquiring a place for temporary shelter. Pray with us on this need.
