Monthly Report for July Dear friends and donors, Charity organization Serbs for Serbs registered in the state of Illinois in United States in Jun 2010 by the group of the Serbian youth. Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is a 501(c)(3) notfor-profit profit charitable organization. Donation is tax-deductible deductible to the extent followed by the law. On 30th September, 2011 we finally nally got the letter from department of the treasury (IRS) with tax exempt 501(c)3 approval. All donations to our organization donated from June 16, 2010 are tax deductible under section 170 of the Code. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers ansfers of gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.

About Us The mission of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is to affect on consciousness of Americans, Serbs and their friends through planned projects, social and humanitarian activities in order to develop and foster better society for future generations and provide aid for underprivileged families in need. Although there are many humanitarian organizations and associations, help often doesn't reach the most jeopardized. Due to unnecessary administration, missing information and slow decision making, the delivery of aid arrives too late to the final consumers, or not at all. It is a sad and embarrassing, but true fact that more than 18.000 children daily die around the world because of starvation and malnutrition. ion. There, among us, the blind and deaf. We are witnesses of the bad demographic situation of our nation, tion, decreasing natality, increasing number of singles, abortions, accelerated aging of

www.serbsforserbs.org 2013 the population and generally bad economic condition of the households in Serbia, Republic of Srpska and other countries in the Balkan. An average couple has "fallen" on one child. Analysts warn that Serbs will become a minority in its own country in the following century if the nation, individuals and government don't wake up from the nescient in which they've fallen! On the other hand, nobody is talking about the families with many children which grieve by living in bitter poverty. Occupied by their everyday struggle for survival, they are being humbly in their desire for implementing rights which belong to them. Their life stories, fears and problems are identical, but almost invisible and unheard in order to gain the attention of the public, media and even state. That's why the idea of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs arose. The organization rganization was formed by a group gr of young and trustful people, who are united by the common vision of helping families blessed by many children and who are aware of the fact that even a small help means a lot for those who don't live in a material excess. We are united by the humane idea to help the poorest part of the Serbian nation. Charity organization Serbs for Serbs try to revive the spiritless energy of the Serbian Diaspora which would be able to reinforce people of Serbian heritage as well as all good people throughout the world with minimal, but bu constant monthly donations. We hope and believe that there is also a grain of doing good and that you will join us in the endless e struggle against poverty. God bless and save all Serbian families with many children and our honored donors who participate in the noble effort to return smile on children faces.

Monthly Report for July Ambitions Our mission The mission of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is to affect on consciousness of Serbian people through our projects and humanitarian activities, in order to develop better society for future generations.

www.serbsforserbs.org 2013 for actual work within the organization. Activities of volunteers and their specific tasks would be determined by the required projects and their personal interest. From that group of volunteers we would look for future leaders of organization.

How to donate? 1. PayPal donation: szsamerika@gmail.com

Why Serbs for Serbs? We wanted to alleviate impaired spirit of Serbian people in togetherness and brotherhood help through humanitarian work and social aid. Who do we help? We help Serbian families who live in the Balkans, have five or more children and live in terrible poverty. Under terrible poverty we define absence of one or more basic factors required for living: food, clothes, shoes, and safe space for living. Why do we help? We believe that there is a basic need for one human (or a group) to help others in distress. A help is not only human virtue but also a Christian responsibility. By focusing our help on families with many children, we directly affect on their stirring toward becoming independent from socialdependable government programs. What are our long term goals? • family is ready to support itself daily and manage to pay all required expenses; • their children are encouraged to continue with school and raising their own family; • our donors are satisfied with the activities and they are ready to help other families; • our organization is satisfied with the results; • family is ready in the future to become our donor and if necessary help other families that are in need of help. Who do we need in organization? We need members and donors that will secure financial stability through supporting our programs and activities in the future. Donors may join our daily activities within the organization in order to coordinate our work better. We also need volunteers ready to donate several hours per week

A BATHROOM FOR DANJEK FAMILY

Members of the Novi Sad branch of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs paid a visit to the Danjek family from Ravno Selo. With proceeds from the „Trojka iz bloka” fundraiser, we were able to give the Danjek family a much needed bathroom. Serbs for Serbs has been working with this family for quite some time. Other issues we have helped them resolve are problems with water supply, their chimney, their kitchen and bathroom, and the sewage system. We hope to purchase a washing machine for them now that they have a spacious bathroom where it can be stored.

Nenad Muzdeka member of SFS from Novi Sad

We call upon all Serbs and generous people worldwide to continue to support our “Trojka iz bloka” fundraisers. Our goal is to raise enough money to build 10 washrooms for desperately needy families in Serbia. The Danjek family and small children from their neighborhood were excited by our visit.

With your continued support, we can make so much difference in the lives of our struggling people.

SFS HELP BUILDING A FARM IN KOSOVO AND METOHIJA

At the end of June, the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs helped set up a goat farm in Kosovo and Metohija, in the village of Prekovac. The organization donated 100,000 dinars for this project. This initiative was spearheaded by the diocesan charity organization "Majka devet Jugovica". The "Majka devet Jugovica" supervises the public kitchens in Kosovo and Metohija. The goat farm, itself, is located close to the public kitchen.

PICNIC FOR ANTIC FAMILY AT NOVA GRACANICA MONASTERY

It was wonderful to see so many new faces as well as good friends of our organization. What was even better was when we would start to explain how we work, they would stop us and tell us they already knew because they follow us on online and on Facebook! Members of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs had the pleasure of once again attending a July 4th picnic at Nova Gracanica Monastery. Our goal was to raise awareness of our charity work and to collect donations for the purchase of a new home for the Antic family. Thanks to the generosity of all of our donors, we were able to raise $1,135 in all!

This year we were prepared with all three of our organizations T-Shirts. With the new shirts "Sloga Bice Poraz Vragu" drawing a lot of attention, the "Nema Predaje" shirts were still the most popular.

Many people were moved by the stories of the families we help. Everyone has given us their support and encouragement to continue to do good work. And that we will! We are inspired to continue to help our children and will do everything we can to make their lives better! Thank you once again to ALL of our donors today, your contributions make the difference in this dark world!! SERBS FROM GERMANY SUPPORT SERBS FOR SERBS

The soccer club "FC Serbia" from Nuremberg, held the Zoran Jovicic Memorial Tournament on Sunday, June 30th. The winning team was "FC Republic of Srpska", as expected. The tournament organizers allowed "Serbs for Serbs" to set up a stand to promote all the work it does on behalf of struggling Serbian families across the Balkans. The many soccer fans who were in attendance gave donations totaling 350 Euros. This money was gladly received by Serbs for Serbs and will be put to good use towards helping Serbian families. ...........................................................................................

BUILDING A NEW HOUSE FOR FAMILY VULIC

Building a new family home for the seven-member family Vulic from Ostruznica is in progress. Nebojsa Vulic, with the help of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs, his friends and neighbors, is finishing basic works on his house. This project is also part of the project „Trojka iz bloka“, which aims at building a bathroom for the endangered families.

There are so many large Serbian families who need our help and who deserve a chance for a brighter future. Please support the work of Serbs for Serbs.

Mr. Velimir Lasica, on behalf of the Serbian Cultural Zug from Switzerland, donated 820 SFR to the charity organization Serbs for Serbs. This donation, raised by members and friends of the club, was delivered personally by Mr. Lasica and given to our representatives in Novi Sad. This donation will be used to help buy a house for the Antic family near Vranje. For all of you reading this article, please consider how you can contribute to our organization Serbs for Serbs. We see the struggles of large Serbian families and we know how important it is to help our Serbian children who are our future. ...........................................................................................

In total, we donated 3,000 books along with computer equipment. Our friend, Mr. Bane, played a big role in getting this action completed.

DONATION TO A SCHOOL LIBRARY

A SECOND HAND TILLER FOR THE RADIC FAMILY

Recently Charity organization Serbs for Serbs honored our Easter 2012 pledge to purchase a tiller for the Radic family from Krajina. A total of 2,000 EUR was spent for the purchase of a second-hand tiller, trailer and connections to the tiller. Although we had already bought furniture for the family, our primary focus was to get them on the road to financial stability by giving them the necessary equipment for work in the fields. We had hoped to make the delivery of this farming equipment earlier, but we are happy to have made our delivery in time for this year's farming season.

...........................................................................................

Serbs for Serbs has no trouble identifying families in desperate need of financial assistance. There are so many. The challenge is finding funding to address the situation. We are convinced that if you were face to face with these children who have so little, who don't stand a chance to succeed if left without help, you would not hesitate to provide any help necessary.

The charity organization Serbs for Serbs has made a chart covering donations from 2006 until 2012. Thanks to the selfless support of numerous benefactors and generous people worldwide, our total donations have increased almost every year. The more financial support we have received, the more at risk Serbians families we have been able to help.

HELP ARRIVES FOR SERBS IN HERCEGOVINA

Family Babic from Lokava Less than a month after our initial visit to families in Hercegovina, the charity organization Serbs for Serbs was able to deliver the promised help. The charitable association, Dobrotvor, helped coordinate the July 16th delivery of aid valued at 3.100 EUR.

Family Stevanovic from Rastani

Family Maric from Malo Polje Four families were the beneficiaries of our donations. The Stevanovic family from Rastani received an electric stove, while the Babic family from Lokve received a washing machine. Construction material for the building of a home went to the Pudar family. The remaining money was used to purchase food and hygiene products for the Maric family from Malo Polje. Members of Maric family are father Nikola, mother Zora and children Srdjana (17), Nikolina (13), and Zeljko (8).

Family Pudar from Hodbina Without the help of Dobrotvor, we would not have been able to deliver help on our own. Serbs for Serbs looks forward to combining our efforts, along with those of Dobrotvor, for future charitable projects.

Our donation of 487 EUR to pay off part of the family debt at the local grocery store, and to purchase groceries and hygiene products for the family could not have come at a better time. Even with our help, the family still has an outstanding debt of 146.5 EUR owed to the grocery store.

SERBS FOR SERBS IN MONTENEGRO

Members of the Montenegrin branch of Serbs for Serbs paid a visit to the Vrela Ribnicka refugee camp in Podgorica on July 20th. The goal of the visit was to bring aid to Miladin Milic and his family, refugees from Kosovo and Metohija. Thanks to the generous support of Mrs. Ratka Mandic, executive director of Atlant Agent from Bar, we were provided with a company vehicle to transport much needed items to the Milic family.

The Milic family has fallen on very difficult times. As refugees, they are not receiving any social benefits. Miladin, who suffers from lung disease, has been hospitalized in Brezovik, near Niksic. He is dependent on medical equipment in order to breathe. The family's financial situation is so desperate, that the family has

Miladin hopes to qualify for a disability pension. Until then, he has to find a way to provide for himself and his family. While one of his daughters is married and lives in Danilovgrad with her four children, five children remain at home. The two youngest children, Dejan and Zoran, have just completed elementary school. The three daughters Ivana, Zorana and Zorica would like to work, but are still trying to get the necessary work visas necessary for non-citizens of the area.

The status of the refugee camp remains unsettled. Whether the camp will be relocated or whether permanent residences will be built has yet to be determined. But what is certain, without a doubt, is that refugees living in this multi-national camp need help. Serbs for Serbs was able to reach the Milic family, who is so grateful for our assistance. But this is just one family we were able to help. Please, donate to Serbs for Serbs. We can do so much more, but only with your help.

Goran, Sneza and their sons Milan (14), Veljko (12) and Milos (5) received an electric stove, refrigerator, daybed, kitchen table, chairs and a closet. The total bill for these purchases was 102.910 dinars.

Little Milos with his first toys After followers of our website read that little Milos had never had a toy, donations for this family started to come in from Serbs across the world. The charity organization Serbs for Serbs has indentified many more at risk families, like the Keljevics, who are desperate for help. Please continue to make donations to our organization so that we can continue to bring support to our Serbian families across the Balkans.

GREENHOUSE IN JAGODINA

On Sunday, July 21, representatives of the charity organization Serbs for Serbs visited the elevenmember Stojanovic family from Vinoraca, near Jagodina. At the end of 2012, our organization built a greenhouse for the family, and in April of this year, we provided them with 800 tomato seedlings. We dropped by to see how things were progressing.

After visiting with Goran, we took the opportunity to visit the Josanica monastery, dating back to the time of Duke Lazar. Our guide, prior Evtimije, told us of the history of the monastery. Destroyed and re-built a number of times, it today consists of two dormitories and work buildings. The main part of the monastery is the church with the wooden steeple, dedicated to St. Nicholas.

Our donation to the Stojanovic family illustrates how it does not take much to help a family get back on its feet, and on the road to self sufficiency. If any of you would like to reach the family directly, and place orders for their organic tomatoes, please let us know by contacting us at: c3c.org@gmail.com

Goran Stojanovic is growing organic tomatoes and expects a good yield from the plants. While this is good news, the problem is that he has to keep his market price low, as he faces stiff competition from imported vegetables, which are of a far inferior quality. Goran's longterm plan is to start selling processed tomatoes. His first step is to obtain a certificate guaranteeing that his produce is organically grown. Monthly Report for July SFS VISITS THE MASLAR FAMILY

Members of the charity organization Serbs for Serbs were in the village of Bunar, near Jagodina, on July 21, visiting the Maslar family. There was a time when generations of a Serbian family all lived together. The Maslar family has continued this tradition as 33 of them all live under a single roof.

www.serbsforserbs.org 2013 They live harmoniously, as their busy schedules leave little time for disagreements. The names of the family members are: Vidoje, Biljana and their children Jasna, Savo, Krstinja, Uros, Zorka, Mladen, Petar and Arsenije; Cedomir and Ratka and their children Radojko, Biljana, Gordana and Radovan; Dusan and Hana and their children Aksa, Rade, Aleksa, Jovana and Ognjen; the youngest brother Velibor and his wife Dragana have children Tanja, Zarko, Dragana, Milanka, Stanislava, Jagoda and Zeljko.

Everyday around the supper table, the Maslars schedule all the work that needs to be done the following day. Their day starts at 4:00 a.m. and finishes at 10:00 p.m. The women are busy with housework, while the men work the land. Most of the land is rented. They have cultivated over 100 hectares and they also tend to 60 cows and 50 goats. The children are all expected to chip in according to their abilities. Despite the long hours and hard work, the Maslar family barely manages to make ends meet. Life is expensive and very challenging for the Maslars, but they never complain. Their main focus now is to complete the construction of the two homes. Serbs for Serbs always looks to lend a hand to hard working families struggling to get ahead. The Maslar family has been identified as one we would like to help.

In an effort to keep all family members on their land and to provide more living space for the children, the Maslars have started construction of two additional homes nearby. They have progressed to the stage where both houses have been covered with roofs. To complete their projects to the point where they can move in, they need more lumber, material for the installation of bathrooms, and appliances. Mother Dusanka and her four sons, along with their families, are the inhabitants of their current home. LAND FOR THE KUZMANOVIC FAMILY

Djurdjina and Dragica Kuzmanovic

The third family the charity organization Serbs for Serbs visited on Sunday, July 21, was the Kuzmanovic family. We met Milija, his wife, and eight children on a prior visit back in February. The Kuzmanovic family impressed us as a hard working family that deserved a helping hand. The family grew raspberries on a rented piece of land, and when the opportunity arose for them to purchase their own land, not far from their home, we came forward to help. The purpose of our visit was to provide them with 231.000 dinars to offically buy the property.

Dejan, Nikola and Dragica Kuzmanovic with Mladen Matijasevic

Djordje, Djurdjica, Dejan and Dragica Kuzmanovic The purchased land is a 70 acre, tree-covered property. It will take much work to clear and cultivate the land for growing raspberries. Milija, who has never shied away from hard work, has assured us it will not be a problem. After a pleasant visit with this ten-member family, we wished them well and told them we would be back to see how things are progressing.
