Monthly Report for Oct October ober Dear friends and donors, Charity organization Serbs for Serbs registered in the state of Illinois in United States in Jun 2010 by the group of the Serbian youth. Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is a 501(c)(3) notfor-profit profit charitable organization. Donation is tax-deductible deductible to the extent followed by the law. On 30th September, 2011 we finally nally got the letter from department of the treasury (IRS) with tax exempt 501(c)3 approval. All donations to our organization donated from June 16, 2010 are tax deductible under section 170 of the Code. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers ansfers of gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.
About Us The mission of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is to affect on consciousness of Americans, Serbs and their friends through planned projects, social and humanitarian activities in order to develop and foster better society for future generations and provide aid for underprivileged families in need. Although there are many humanitarian organizations and associations, help often doesn't reach the most jeopardized. Due to unnecessary administration, missing information and slow decision making, the delivery of aid arrives too late to the final consumers, or not at all. It is a sad and embarrassing, but true fact that more than 18.000 children daily die around the world because of starvation and malnutrition. ion. There, among us, the blind and deaf. We are witnesses of the bad demographic situation of our nation, tion, decreasing natality, increasing number of singles, abortions, accelerated aging of
www.serbsforserbs.org 2013 the population and generally bad economic condition of the households in Serbia, Republic of Srpska and other countries in the Balkan. An average couple has "fallen" on one child. Analysts warn that Serbs will become a minority in its own country in the following century if the nation, individuals and government don't wake up from the nescient in which they've fallen! On the other hand, nobody is talking about the families with many children which grieve by living in bitter poverty. Occupied by their everyday struggle for survival, they are being humbly in their desire for implementing rights which belong to them. Their life stories, fears and problems are identical, but almost invisible and unheard in order to gain the attention of the public, media and even state. That's why the idea of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs arose. The organization rganization was formed by a group gr of young and trustful people, who are united by the common vision of helping families blessed by many children and who are aware of the fact that even a small help means a lot for those who don't live in a material excess. We are united by the humane idea to help the poorest part of the Serbian nation. Charity organization Serbs for Serbs try to revive the spiritless energy of the Serbian Diaspora which would be able to reinforce people of Serbian heritage as well as all good people throughout the world ld with minimal, but bu constant monthly donations. We hope and believe that there is also a grain of doing good and that you will join us in the endless e struggle against poverty. God bless and save all Serbian families with many children and our honored donors who participate in the noble effort to return smile on children faces.

Monthly Report for October Ambitions
Our mission The mission of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is to affect on consciousness of Serbian people through our projects and humanitarian activities, in order to develop better society for future generations. Why Serbs for Serbs? We wanted to alleviate impaired spirit of Serbian people in togetherness and brotherhood help through humanitarian work and social aid. Who do we help? We help Serbian families who live in the Balkans, have five or more children and live in terrible poverty. Under terrible poverty we define absence of one or more basic factors required for living: food, clothes, shoes, and safe space for living. Why do we help? We believe that there is a basic need for one human (or a group) to help others in distress. A help is not only human virtue but also a Christian responsibility. By focusing our help on families with many children, we directly affect on their stirring toward becoming independent from socialdependable government programs. What are our long term goals? • family is ready to support itself daily and manage to pay all required expenses; • their children are encouraged to continue with school and raising their own family; • our donors are satisfied with the activities and they are ready to help other families; • our organization is satisfied with the results; • family is ready in the future to become our donor and if necessary help other families that are in need of help.
www.serbsforserbs.org 2013 Who do we need in organization? We need members and donors that will secure financial stability through supporting our programs and activities in the future. Donors may join our daily activities within the organization in order to coordinate our work better. We also need volunteers ready to donate several hours per week for actual work within the organization. Activities of volunteers and their specific tasks would be determined by the required projects and their personal interest. From that group of volunteers we would look for future leaders of organization.

NEW HOME FOR VULIC FAMILY SOON UNDER ROOF
President of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs Igor Rasula in conversation with Vulic family Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is finishing another big project of our organization – building a house for the eight-member family Vulic from Ostruznica near Belgrade. At the beginning of October representatives of the organization visited the house and the future bathroom, which is included in the project “Trojka iz bloka”, and agreed further steps to put the house under roof as soon as possible. Until the end of October, all big works should be finished, which would leave enough time for setting the floor, isolation and bathroom tiles.
Future bathroom of Vulic family The host Nebojsa Vulic does vast majority of the work on his own, or with the help of several friends and relatives. He received part of the material from the head of the Temple Transfer of the relics of St. Nicholas in Ostruznica.
Charity organization Serbs for Serbs calls upon all the donors and friends of the organization worldwide to support this and other projects for the benefit of Serbian families with many children. CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE!

SERBS FOR SERBS COLLECTED 400.000 €
Serbs for Serbs will continue to work for the well-being of the endangered Serbian families across Balkan, so that the necessary charity help could reach many children. ……………………………………………………….......
SERBS FOR SERBS RAISED IN USA AND CANADA $50,000 SO FAR!
Charity organization Serbs for Serbs collected in the mid-October over 400.000 EUR of donations for helping the endangered children across the Balkan. Since 2005, under the slogan “Children are our future”, the organization helped over 350 families and provided necessary aid for the most endangered parts of the Serbian population. Furthermore, the official website of the organization, www.srbizasrbe.org, had over five million visits! Thanks to the official branches of the organization in Serbia, Republic of Srpska, Austria, Switzerland and USA, and the vast number of donors and friends of the organization worldwide, Serbs for Serbs collected the necessary means and provided roof over the heads of many families, by building dozens of houses. Apart from that, the organization provided charity aid by donating refrigerators, stoves, freezers and other appliances, built and equipped many bathrooms, and bought beds, closets, tables, computers, toys and school equipment for many children. The organization also provided help for the families in villages, by donating tractors, greenhouses, cows, sheep and goats, so that these families could provide the elementary needs for their children. The difference between this charity organization and the others is in the transparent manner of our work, and the great number of donors who provide humble monthly donations, and thus participate in the charity actions. On our official website www.srbizasrbe.org and social networks www.facebook.com/srbizasrbe and www.twitter.com/srbizasrbe, the organization publishes daily the lists of donors, and the money flow on all of its bank accounts, which represents the unique example in the work of charity and non-governmental organizations in Serbia.
Charity organization Serbs for Serbs raised $50,000 in donations from the beginning of 2013. up until October 1st, throughout the United States and Canada. This is a huge success for our charity organization, having in mind that dozens of Serbian families and their children received necessary humanitarian aid and brotherhood help. Along with our donors whom we owe a huge gratitude, the organization Serbs for Serbs will continue to work towards providing a better and secure future for many unprivileged children across the Balkans. …………………………………………………………...

SFS ON KOSOVO AND METOHIJA
After the liturgy and short staying in Banjska monastery, we went to Zubin Potok. There we met family Janicijevic, consisting of the father Boban, mother Aleksandra, and their four children: Dimitrije (12), Danilo (11), David (9) and Damnjan (3). The parents are employed, but they are having difficulties supporting the family who lives in one room of the unfinished house. This hardworking family bought a stove last year, in which they bake bread, and thus trying to earn extra money. They need another room for the boys, for which it takes two windows, door, laminate and beds to complete. Apart from that, they want to build a barn for the pigs or sheep.
Representatives of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs conducted on October 12-13 new big charity action on Kosovo and Metohija. This action represented the preparation for the forthcoming traditional Christmas action, the biggest so far on the Balkan. We visited 8 families on northern Kosmet and Kosovsko Pomoravlje. We will raise funds for the necessary things, particularly for the tractor attachments, which will give the families additional impetus for autonomous work, and thus for the staying on Kosovo and Metohija.

During the visit, we also attended monasteries Banjska, Visoki Decani and Draganac, and slavas in Velika Hoca and Osojane, which enabled us to get to know customs on Metohija.
The next family we visited was family Cukic, to whom we are building a bathroom. The material had already arrived, and everything was prepared. During our next visit, this family should have their first bathroom.

www.serbsforserbs.org 2013 On Sunday morning we attended liturgy in monastery Visoki Decani, after which we continued visiting the families. In the public kitchen in Prekovac we met our friends from the Eparchy charity organization Majka devet Jugovica, and later we visited family Savic. Dobri and Ruza Savic have two sons: Srecko and Dalibor. Srecko is married, and he has two children – Bojana (4) and Lazar, who is eight months old. They all live in a single house without bathroom. They managed to build another house, but it only has finished walls, and there are no conditions to live in it. The family lives in difficult conditions, without elementary things, and we agreed to get wood-burning stove, a refrigerator and two beds.
In the afternoon hours, we arrived at Velika Hoca, where we visited father Marko in Decanska Vinica and our friends from this Serbian enclave. The day was finished in Osojane, where we attended slava, and stayed overnight.

After visiting these three families, we went back to Prekovac, where we had lunch at the public kitchen, and made a conversation with Svetlana Stevic, president of the Majka devet Jugovica. She gave us a great idea to visit few of the families from the area, who have tractors, and to whom we could provide the necessary attachments in the scope of the Christmas action. We agreed with the idea, and visited the families.
Little Nevena Filic In Izbor we visited family Stojkovic. Jagos and Danijela have a son Andrija who is five months old, and who will soon get a brother or a sister, since Danijela is pregnant. The family lives in an unfinished house, and they all live in a single room without bathroom. Jagos and his nephew have cows, and if they could increase their number, the life would become easier.

Family Peric consists of Dragan and Trnjanka and their four children: Dejan (15), Danijela (11), Kristina (7) and Irena (1). They are already cultivating their land, and the rented land, and they could use trailer for fertilizer. A used one costs approximately 2,000 EUR.

At the end of the day we visited monastery Draganac, where we met father Ilarion, who has just sent us a message to ask whether we could help family Djordjevic, who was in a monastery that afternoon to ask for help.
Single mother Slavica Jancic and her son Mladen near their tractor The last family we visited in the area was the family of Blagoje and Slavica Simijonovic. HELP FOR KRAJINA AT FAMILY DVOZENJA
Milan, Ana Dvozenja and their daughter Ana We call upon the donors and friends of the organization to SUPPORT the further work of our organization, in order to provide the necessary help for the endangered Serbian families across Balkan. ………………………………………………………… In the scope of the new big charity action of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs for helping the Serbian families in the area of Krajina, we successfully helped the first out of four families. SUPPORT TO THE PROJECT “FILM FATHER”
With the help of the friends of the organization, we provided a used tiller in the amount of 550 EUR. It will make the cultivation of their land easier. We hope that it will bring economic stability to the family, which could cause its spreading.
Father Milan, mother Snezana and daughter Ana (2) are fighting against the difficulties which exist in entire Krajina. The life of the Serbian people in this area is still uncertain, despite the fact that the families are returning to their burned homes.
Charity organization Serbs for Serbs publicly supports the project “Film Father”, which aims at making the first film about the fathers of the Serbian nation – St. Simeon Myrrh and St. Sava. The project has been commenced by the Foundation Heritage of the Fathers as a necessary contribution to the struggle for keeping the Serbian national and spiritual identity, restoration of the collapsed value system and the survival of the positive aspect of our specificity in the world family of nations. The film is in a preparatory phase, in which a scenario is being written, and the money contributions are being collected. We call upon all our donors and friends to get to know to this noble idea, and participate in its realization!

Ratko built a barn on his own. Unfortunately, grandmother Dobrila recently died. A nine-year old Jovan has a heart condition, and he has already been through 17 operations, and he will have to take another one.
We call upon all the people of good will to continue with their donations, in order to support the actions of our organization.
Our aim was to first enable the family to live in decent conditions, and then to support them in the struggle to work and produce on their own. We are particulary pleased with the fact that the parents Ratko and Zemka put a lot of effort in raising their children despite the poor conditions in which they live. All children go to school, and they are good pupils. Ratko has a lot of ideas to improve the longterm position of his family. Since our last visit, they bought a goat, a sheep with two lambs.
