Monthly Report for April Dear friends and donors, Charity organization Serbs for Serbs registered in the state of Illinois in United States in Jun 2010 by the group of the Serbian youth. Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is a 501(c)(3) notfor-profit profit charitable organization. Donation is tax-deductible deductible to the extent followed by the law. On 30th September, 2011 we finally nally got the letter from department of the treasury (IRS) with tax exempt 501(c)3 approval. All donations to our organization donated from June 16, 2010 are tax deductible under section 170 of the Code. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers ansfers of gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.

About Us The mission of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is to affect on consciousness of Americans, Serbs and their friends through planned projects, social and humanitarian activities in order to develop and foster better society for future generations and provide aid for underprivileged families in need. Although there are many humanitarian organizations and associations, help often doesn't reach the most jeopardized. Due to unnecessary administration, missing information and slow decision making, the delivery of aid arrives too late to the final consumers, or not at all. It is a sad and embarrassing, but true fact that more than 18.000 children daily die around the world because of starvation and malnutrition. ion. There, among us, the blind and deaf. We are witnesses of the bad demographic situation of our nation, tion, decreasing natality, increasing number of singles, abortions, accelerated aging of

www.serbsforserbs.org 2014 the population and generally bad economic condition of the households in Serbia, Republic of Srpska and other countries in the Balkan. An average couple has "fallen" on one child. Analysts warn that Serbs will become a minority in its own country in the following century if the nation, individuals and government don't wake up from the nescient in which they've fallen! On the other hand, nobody is talking about the families with many children which grieve by living in bitter poverty. Occupied by their everyday struggle for survival, they are being humbly in their desire for implementing rights which belong to them. Their life stories, fears and problems are identical, but almost invisible and unheard in order to gain the attention of the public, media and even state. That's why the idea of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs arose. The organization rganization was formed by a group gr of young and trustful people, who are united by the common vision of helping families blessed by many children and who are aware of the fact that even a small help means a lot for those who don't live in a material excess. We are united by the humane idea to help the poorest part of the Serbian nation. Charity organization Serbs for Serbs try to revive the spiritless energy of the Serbian Diaspora which would be able to reinforce people of Serbian heritage as well as all good people throughout the world with minimal, but bu constant monthly donations. We hope and believe that there is also a grain of doing good and that you will join us in the endless e struggle against poverty. God bless and save all Serbian families with many children and our honored donors who participate in the noble effort to return smile on children faces.

CHILDREN ARE E OUR FUTURE!

Monthly Report for April Ambitions

Our mission The mission of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is to affect on consciousness of Serbian people through our projects and humanitarian activities, in order to develop better society for future generations. Why Serbs for Serbs? We wanted to alleviate impaired spirit of Serbian people in togetherness and brotherhood help through humanitarian work and social aid. Who do we help? We help Serbian families who live in the Balkans, have five or more children and live in terrible poverty. Under terrible poverty we define absence of one or more basic factors required for living: food, clothes, shoes, and safe space for living. Why do we help? We believe that there is a basic need for one human (or a group) to help others in distress. A help is not only human virtue but also a Christian responsibility. By focusing our help on families with many children, we directly affect on their stirring toward becoming independent from socialdependable government programs. What are our long term goals? • family is ready to support itself daily and manage to pay all required expenses; • their children are encouraged to continue with school and raising their own family; • our donors are satisfied with the activities and they are ready to help other families; • our organization is satisfied with the results; • family is ready in the future to become our donor and if necessary help other families that are in need of help.

www.serbsforserbs.org 2014 Who do we need in organization? We need members and donors that will secure financial stability through supporting our programs and activities in the future. Donors may join our daily activities within the organization in order to coordinate our work better. We also need volunteers ready to donate several hours per week for actual work within the organization. Activities of volunteers and their specific tasks would be determined by the required projects and their personal interest. From that group of volunteers we would look for future leaders of organization.

BATHROOM FINISHED, HOUSE IS BEING BUILT

We use this opportunity to express our thank to the workers who made this part of the Vulic house perfect.

Members of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs from Belgrade visited an eight-member family Vulic from Ostruznica, where we finished the works on building a bathroom in the scope of the project Trojka iz bloka. Apart from bathroom, the rest of the house is being built for this large Serbian family. Thanks to the donors from Serbia and worldwide, the house will soon be finished.

The works on building a house will be continued during April, so that the family could move into their new home until fall.

The works on the bathroom were finished in a short time thanks to the friends of our organization and family

All members of the Vulic family are very thankful to the donors of our organization, who helped in building their home, so that the children could have decent conditions for life.

FAMILY TEODOROVIC IN SWEET HOME

Charity organization Serbs for Serbs in cooperation with the Center for social work of the Lopare municipality and Mr. Vasilije Obrenovic, successfully finished the works on the inside of the house for a six-member family Teodorovic from Bobetino Brdo in the Republic of Srpska, in the total amount of 3.446 EUR. The largest part of the sum was raised in the charity evening in Canada at the end of 2013.

Thanks to the engagement of Mr. Obrenovic, the house now has electricity. The last segment of the works will be the building of the well for potable water, and bringing the water into the house, with additional works on finishing the bathroom.

Thanks to the donation of the Lopare municipality three years ago, the family was moved into a newly built house, which wasn't even plastered nor isolated. There was no electricity nor water in the house. After several months of works, conducted by the workers from the nearby villages, the inside of the family house is unrecognizable. There are new windows, outer and inner door, all the walls in the kitchen, hall and children's rooms are plastered, and there are tiles and a laminate. Monthly Report for April SERBS FROM CHINA JOINED SFS

Serbian community from the Chinese city of Shenzhen, consisting of several dozen of members, and still growing, gathered on Sunday, April 20, to celebrate Easter. Each of the guests brought Easter eggs according to the custom. On this occasion, they organized the first collection of money in charity purposes for the poor families in Serbia. The total amount was $370. People who gathered hope that it was the commence of the similar events in China, where a great number of Serbs live and work.

www.serbsforserbs.org 2014 Several members were already informed about the work of the SfS, but the donations so far were only individual.

The aim is to spread the gatherings in other China cities, where there are Serbs, and where they have the conscious of the need to keep the community and relations with Serbia.

Shenzhen is a city in southern China of about 15 million inhabitants. It is the biggest center for electronics and one of the biggest cargo ports in China. It is one of four economic centers in China, next to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. It is physically connected with Hong Kong, and together they make a mega polis and the economic giant of Asia.

EASTER CONCERT IN SWITZERLAND

The Swiss branch of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs in Zurich helped the Association of the Serbian students in Switzerland to organize the Easter charity concert, which took place at the premises of the Serbian cultural society in Duebendorf.

After the Serbian anthem „God of Justice“, the student Bisera Tasic, who was one of the organizers of the charity evening, welcomed the guests. Milka Tadic, also a student, presented the student’s organization, whose aim is to preserve the Serbian tradition, culture and language. The organization turned to charity work, because of the responsibility of young people and the possibility to help. Charity organization SfS helped in organizing the concert, using its previous experience in those type of events.

The income in the amount of 2.835 CHF was raised for family Antic from Drenovac near Vranje, who lives in very difficult conditions.

The concert was attended by a large number of visitors, among whom the General Consul of Serbia in Zurich, Zoran Jeremic, the vice-President of the Diaspora Assembly, Zvonko Jovanovic, a famous activist, Milos Damjanac, and a lot of other guests. CHARITY HELP IN THE RASKA AREA

Last weekend, Mile Veljovic of Skokie, Illinois hosted a Serbs For Serbs Palacinka Party at his home. A few friends gathered to discuss our Charity Organizations activities in Serbia and across the Balkans and specifically the project for the Dragojevic family. For most of the guests, it was their first exposure to the work we do for Serbian children and their families. We received a lot of positive comments and generated many ideas for new projects. Along with the $200 collected for the Dragojevic family, we made some valuable new friends for our Organization.

Charity organization Serbs for Serbs joined and provided its support to the great charity action of helping the children in the Raska area, commenced by the fraternal organization Stara Raska from Belgrade.
