How to Promote Your Business Online in 5 Simple Steps

Still wondering how to effectively promote your business online to bring massive exposure to your brand while reaching an audience outside your physical realm?!? The good news is, it’s not rocket science. You see, I’ve learned that instead of trying reinvent the wheel and figure everything out on my own, I am leveraging the knowledge of those who are getting results, so that I can model that and apply their techniques to my business… Of course, putting my own swag to it! I am going to briefly share the 5 simple steps that absolutely every successful Internet marketer uses to build multiple six figure and million dollar empires. #1 Know your target market


Before you do any type of promotion, know the audience whom you are aiming to reach. Who are you speaking to?!? Don’t attempt to market to everyone or you essentially market to no one. Have that specific group of people that your messages will speak directly to…drawing them into you instead of you going out chasing folks.

#2 Focus on building your list daily This should be your #1 priority, that is generating leads. You see, once you know your target market and have done some research on them, you can begin to market (which we’ll touch briefly on in step #4) in the places they hang out at. In other words, you promote your business using a lead capture page which, in exchange for their name and email address, you give something away of value. This could be a free eBook, video bootcamp series (very effective), coupon offer, etc. The key is to offer your prospects a gift as a means for their content info, thus creating a lead!

#3 Get a blog I like to call this the “ultimate brand builder”! You are doing your business a huge disservice by not having a blog in 2015. As you begin to promote your business online and bring more exposure to your brand, a blog quickly positions you as an authority and expert in your niche. It’s your home on the Internet and gives your followers a place to visit regularly to learn more from you, glean value from your content, and be enriched by your message.

#4 Choose 2 marketing strategies and get really good at them Here is where you will choose the best two strategies that’s conducive for you and your business. Choose strategies that allow you to exude your natural strengths…if you are good at public speaking, then use video marketing. If you’re a natural writer, along with writing on your blog, be a guest blogger. Need help in finding and choosing the best marketing strategy to promote your business online?… This all inclusive business system gives you the training you need to master any online marketing strategy. If you want to learn how to properly use Facebook, blogging, YouTube, solo ads, paid marketing, Craigslist…anything, leverage this business system here. It will give you the most up-to-date techniques on what’s working now on the Internet. Again, no need to try to reinvent the wheel!

#5 Use best email marketing practices for building rapport with your list Now that you’re building your list, the goal is to communicate with them regularly so that you are constantly pumping value. Here are some noteworthy tips when it comes to email marketing: Again, share value. As you blog daily, share that content with your list. They are already interested in you…give them what they want! Be conversational and personable. Remember, this is not a formal message…be yourself and authentic. Use compelling subject lines. Google this and create a sheet of best subject headers to use for future communications. Be consistent. It is okay to email your list multiple times of day…just make sure its relevant and that you’re not always selling your biz…rule of thumb, 80% value content, 20% promoting business
