23BLVD caters and concentrates on documenting urban culture: streetwear/style and the subcultures surrounding it (specifically fashion, art, music, and general lifestyle). What makes 23BLVD unique is its fusion between main street and high-street capturing both influences while blurring the boundaries of these different lifestyles. The zine is separated into these two segments, and meets in the middle with fashion and trends. Our main focus is to instigate a positive drive. This zine serves as a visual journal, combining imagery and design, strong text, and overall good content that documents talent and tempo — evidence that urban youth culture is expansive and influential. After each release, we throw a party in celebration with the space being curated to fully reflect the issue.
