Without insulin sugar cannot travel from the blood into cells which results in high blood sugar levels. Type 1 diabetes often appears during childhood.

Symptoms Urinating more often , especially at night Tiredness Wound and injuries do not heal quickly Blurred vision dark and velvety patches on skin Females may develop PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome).
