'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like this year seemed to fly by while simultaneously dragging out.
Although none of us are quite sure what next year will bring, I think it's safe to say that the return of the holiday season provides not only some sense of normalcy (whatever that means now), but also a few weeks of reprieve from the "real world" to enjoy our trees, hot chocolate, and Home Alone.

I'm focusing a lot more on items I have already shared, own, and love with personal anecdotes as to why I think they'd make great gifts in the hopes of helping you feel better about your holiday purchases.
We've spent more time at home these past months, practicing self-care, learning new skills, and also just laying on the couch eating ice cream.

This mask blocks out light to help me get a better night's sleep. Since it's silk, it's not harsh on the skin. Every person I have ever given this mask to, loves it.

I bought both of Joanna Gaines' cookbooks at the start of lockdown because I was bored and wanted new recipe ideas. Everything I've made from her cookbooks has been absolutely delicious.
I found these dispensers on Etsy because I was sick of looking at plastic soap bottles on our kitchen counter. There are lots of options to choose; 10/10 would recommend.
Although I don't have this pan, a handful of people I know do and it's so intriguing to me. It's one pan that can steam, saute, boil, etc. Plus it is SO chic. Multiple colors available.

I like the idea of having a signature home scent. Diptyque candles hold their scent while lit, unlike a lot of others that just smell good in the container. Bonus points for beautiful packaging. Baies is my go-to.
Record players are so nostalgic and provide a good excuse to turn off the TV to listen to some tunes without the help of Spotify. Perfect for an at-home dancing date night.

This was one of the first "nice" home gifts I received. I love making sauces and soups in my dutch oven, and Le Creuset pieces are so pretty that they can double as decor, too. Mine always sits on our stovetop.
For that obsessive organizer in your life, who is looking for another project around the house. I use these in our pantry and they also help to save space since they stack!

EVERLANE HIGH RISE SKINNY JEANS There's nothing like a pair of great-fitting skinny jeans. These high rise jeans have just the right amount of stretch while holidng you in, and the dark blue wash is super versatile. I love Everlane jeans; these are under $100 so budget-friendly, too!

I am on my second pair of Veja sneakers. They are the perfect white minimal sneaker to wear with everything from leggings and jeans to dresses and skirts. Nicer than a pair of Keds, without a designer price tag.
Madewell makes a handful of variations of their "Transport Tote" but I prefer this because of the zip top. I bought this last December for London so that I could carry my belongings and souvenirs without worrying about an open top.
This U-neck, cozy sweater is the perfect length to cover your bum when you're wearing leggings. Not itchy at all, and perfectly oversized.

Only $78! Levi's never seem to work for me. These are similar to their 501 style but actually fit. I love that Everlane also offers ankle lengths for people who aren't model height.
Bernardo is one of my go-to outerwear brands. Everyone needs a black leather jacket. It instantly adds an effortless edge. Real leather jackets are more expensive than faux one, but they last way longer.

As someone who has worked from home prior to this pandemic, I have learned that a spacious planner is absolutely key to keep your days and weeks on track.
These drapey pajamas are so soft, it's like you're wearing clouds. I love the classic pants and button up look; these pajamas will never go out of style.
It-girl athletic shoes. If wearing matching sweat sets has taught me anything this year, it's that you also need cool sneakers. I love APL. They are my go-to travel shoe. I have maybe 5 pairs now!

This bootie comes in multiple colors, but the Cloud Suede shade is a perfect neutral to match with brown tones. Elastic goring makes these easy to take on and off, and I love a block heel for added comfort.
This is the perfect size duffel bag for weekend trips. Multiple inside pocket and a clip to prevent keys from getting lost are thoughtful and functional details.

I know this seems random, and it kind of is. However, as someone who is always trying to be better about hydrating (still working on it) this cup is always by my side. It's large enough to cut down on refills, but also keeps contents cold.
Not too oversizerd or fitted, I genuinely think this may be one of the best denim jackets out there. It's not overly long or cropped either, so rest assured this jacket will stay in a closet for years to come.
This flat iron is what I use every time I style my hair. It heats up in 20 seconds, chimes when ready, and has special tehcnology to automatically adjust the heat as you run through your hair to prevent damage and overheating.
