Who Is Dick

Patrick?

Dick has been a fixture in the island real estate market since 1979. He is known for his straightforward approach and diligent representation on behalf of his clients … be they buyers or sellers. That’s the reason why he was voted by his peers as Realtor of the Year. Whether Dick is representing you as a buyer or seller, he will tell you what you need to hear … not what he thinks you want to hear … in short, good, sound, straightforward, real estate advice. On a personal note, Dick was born in Atlanta where he worked for a large insurance brokerage firm until his move to Hilton Head in 1976. He has been married to Pati over 50 years (she must be a Saint to put up with a Realtor’s life for that long), and they have 2 married daughters who grew up on the Island. Christie, a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, is a physical therapist in Charleston, and Valerie, a graduate of Wake Forest University and Washington University in St. Louis, is an Occupational Therapist in Northville, Michigan. Dick and his family are avid sailors and enjoy traveling, hiking, and skiing. Being spherically challenged since birth, Dick has mastered the art of talking about sports with a ball but wisely avoids participating.

Professionally, Dick has a business degree from Georgia State University in Atlanta. Locally, he has been active on a number of boards including Hilton Head Hospital, Hilton Head Plantation Property Owners’ Association, Habitat for Humanity, and Hilton Head Island Association of Realtors, Board of Governors of the South Carolina Yacht Club, Windmill Harbour Marina Board, and the Board of the Hilton Head Island Multiple Listing Service. Dick has specialized in selling properties in the Hilton Head area for over 38 years and regularly ranks as one of the Top 10 Realtors on the Island in sales volume. He has surrounded himself with some of the island’s best Realtors. More importantly, people enjoy relying on Dick for real estate advice because they know they will get diligent, straightforward, impartial advice about the local market.


Who Is Lawrence

Taylor?

Lawrence has been an island resident since 1992 and a Realtor since 2005. He consistently exceeds client expectations with the utmost in professional real estate services. That’s the reason his clients so often forward unsolicited testimonials regarding Lawrence’s knowledge, considerate guidance and advice throughout the process of buying and/or selling real estate. Lawrence specializes in representing buyers and sellers throughout the greater Hilton Head Island and Bluffton markets. He has consistently ranked near the top of all area Realtors in sales volume since the inception of his real estate career. Since 2010, Lawrence has ranked in the Top 1-2% of all area Realtors. As a Team, Dick, Lawrence, and Rob are Top 10 out of over 1,300 area real estate agents. Lawrence knows no two buyers or sellers are alike. He is also fully aware of how important your real estate buying and selling decisions are to your family and overall financial security. The level of service Lawrence provides will exceed your expectations. Professionally, Lawrence has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Lawrence is a partner in Charter One Realty and is proud of his association with some of the Top Realtors in the Lowcountry. He has served on various local boards and committees and is at Major Investor Level in the local Realtor Association Political Action Committee. On a personal note, Lawrence was born in East Tennessee and grew up in Morristown, TN. He first worked for a national financial services company in Knoxville before the move to Hilton Head Island. Lawrence’s first 12 years on the island were spent in the hospitality industry in positions as manager, general manager and managing partner of several local entities. Lawrence and Lorrie have been married for 18 years. Lawrence readily admits he married well above himself. Their daughter, Isabelle, is 16 years old and the biggest blessing in each of their lives. Isabelle is a 11th grader at Hilton Head Christian Academy and is currently enjoying playing on the tennis team. With Lawrence’s long hours, Lorrie cheerfully takes responsibility for keeping all the balls in the air at home and is also a Sales and Listing Assistant on the Patrick & Taylor Team. Arabelle (named by Isabelle) is a mixed breed bundle of eternal puppy and rounds out the Taylor household. Sports are a Taylor family affair. Lawrence is a big sports fan and plays tennis and golf when time permits. Lorrie is also a tennis player and loves to go fishing and crabbing. The Taylors also enjoy summer and holiday traveling when Lawrence’s work schedule permits.


Who Is Rob

Moore?

Rob Moore was born in Des Moines, Iowa. When Rob arrived on Hilton Head with his family in 1979, the island was a far cry from the island of today. A more rural feel existed and the swing bridge and single lane traffic each way across the Intracoastal Waterway. Following High School graduation at the new school on the island, Rob attended and graduated from Georgia Southern University, (which was Georgia Southern College when he enrolled) with a BBA in MGT. Rob married his High School sweetheart Kim in his last year at Georgia Southern in 1991. Upon graduating from GSU Rob looked for employment on the Island in anything but food and beverage and found the island to be a tough place for a recent college graduate who did not want to work in construction or food and beverage. Real Estate was the only other option and Rob found employment with a prominent local Property Management Company. He spent the next 20 years in Island Commercial Real Estate, licensed as a Salesman, focusing on resort Horizontal Property Regimes in Palmetto Dunes, Leamington, Shelter Cove and Port Royal. Widely regarded as the consummate professional in his work, Rob is intimately familiar with all aspects of resort property ownership. He is well versed in the primary home, second home and investor owner and their unique needs and desires. Rob and his family have been residents of the Island since the 1970's and have lived in many of the various gated communities-Palmetto Dunes, Shipyard, Sea Pines, Long Cove and Hilton Head Plantation. The Moore family has called Blue Heron Point home for the last few years and are thrilled to have found an area which closely resembles the Island of Rob’s youth. A neighborhood surrounded by water where respect is shown for the natural environment we share with the abundant wildlife that surrounds us by land, water and air. The connection to community is evident in Rob's personal life, from serving on volunteer boards associated with the HHI Gator Football Program, to coaching his sons teams on the same field where he played football as a child, to serving all of the citizens of the Island as a commissioner on the Town of Hilton Head Island Parks and Recreation Committee. Rob is a current member of the Legislative Committee with the Hilton Head Area Association of REALTORS. Rob is very proud of his association with the Patrick and Taylor Real Estate Team, a team with a philosophy of giving back to the community for which we serve and live.
