Chase resident raises big money in Alzheimer’s walk Bill Urquhart was recognized as the single top fundraiser at the Investor’s Group Walk for Memories at Tournament Capital Centre in Kamloops, on January 25th. Participants walked to honor the over 70,000 individuals in B.C. who have Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia, and raised funds for support services, education programs and research for a cure. Urquhart raised a total of $5382. He credits the generous and caring people of Chase. “It is with deep gratitude and appreciation that I thank all of you for all of your donations.
