help of our Elves, for gifts for their family. On Saturday you can join Santa and Mrs. Clause at the Lions Pancake Breakfast while waiting for the Craft and Vendor Fairs to open. Our Children’s Christmas Store will also be open for the day. Later Santa & Mrs Clause will be available for storytime and picture taking. There will be another chance for hayrides, a bonfire, and hot chocolate. Come hear the ‘Christmas Story’ presented by the Chase Evangelical Free Church. To top off the evening, the Chase Heat have a game! Come out for some exciting game play and on ice entertainment between periods. There will be opportunities to make donations to benefit those in our community in need. There are many more events for all to enjoy, keep your eyes on the Sunflower for a full schedule.

Lions presents cheque for Skate Park Lions members Rob Simpson, Willy Gosse and Patsy McKinnon present a $600 cheque to Kristi LaCroix of the Chase Skate Park Committee. The money was raised at a hot dog sale in October, and the support is greatly appreciated!

“Gingerbread” Country Christmas

ach year has a different theme and this time its going to be a Gingerbread Chase Country Christmas, packed with many events. It all starts Friday, December 4th with the Annual Evening Parade down Shuswap Avenue at 5:30 pm. After the parade warm up by the bonfire in the Pocket Park or other areas around town while taking in the many events happening. The streets will host vendors selling yummy treats and Christmas wares. Businesses will stay open late offering in store specials. Minor Hockey and the Chase Heat will be hosting a good old fashion game of Street Hockey. The Barbershop Quartet will be performing again this year. Take a traditional hayride and bring your camera for a photo-op with our Christmas Cut outs and Winter Scene. Our Children’s Christmas Store is back and open till 8:00 pm for your little ones to shop, with the
