Constable Lora Ford Retires from RCMP submitted

O

n November 17th, 2020, Cst. Lora FORD worked her last day as a member of the RCMP after nearly 20 years of service. Cst. FORD began her career in Langley, where she worked for 6 years, after which she transferred to the Chase Detachment. During her 13 years of service in Chase, Cst. FORD taught the DARE Program to countless students. She also served a school liaison, Victim Services liaison, and filled the position of First Nations Police Officer. Cst. FORD is wellknown for her compassion and dedication to the community she served. At the Chase Detachment, she was recognized for being a mentor, role model and confidant to her co-workers. Her co-workers will miss her can-do attitude and wicked sense of humour. The Chase RCMP Detachment wishes Cst. FORD all the best in her retirement.
