As we have come to the end of the summer season I would like to, on behalf of the Chase Rotary club, sincerely thank the people of Chase for supporting our concession this summer. Our members worked very hard this Summer but at the same time had fun. We look forward to next season.
With your support we are able to give back to the community in several ways including scholarships and bursaries, support to Chase Festival Society, fire relief fund, Chase Heat, brain bike for schools, the town clock repair and other
community projects.
With generous donations from Craigs Bakery, PharmaChoice and Safety Mart we were able to host a luncheon for the Cops for Kids on Sept 15 at Haldane Elementary.
On Saturday Sept 16 we ran our concession as a tailgate party for the Chase Heat.
We also support Chase Literacy, a very worthwhile project. We are currently raising funds to provide playground equipment for Centennial Park hopefully in the spring/summer of 2024.
Fall
is just around the corner, Come in and see our sweaters and cardigans to keep you cozy.
$3052 raised from the “Cars for a Cause “ car show held in Chase on Saturday, September 11th. An additional $2000
donated by Kamloops Kia, made for a $5052 donation towards the RIH Foundation new Oncology center.

Jim White
Sunrise: Dec. 6, 1937
Sunset: Oct. 4, 2023
Our heroes work on earth is done and he is on a new journey. Dad, Jim White passed away yesterday with our loving family by his side. He was a man of small stature, but we never realized that, because to us, he was larger than life. How so much love could come out of a person is beyond me.
He is never go away, he’ll be in every note that we play, even though he won’t be seen, he’ll live in every word that we sing.
Enjoy your time with all those who we’re waiting for you Dad

North Shuswap Pathway
The vision to create a parallel active transportation pathway along the main road of the North Shuswap is getting closer to becoming reality. Upon a completed review from the Ministry of Transportation, First Nations and the Final Engineering Design, the first phase of the pathway project will be ready for a federal or provincial grant application made through the Columbia Shuswap Regional District.
Grants will require additional funding for leverage. Help us make the vision happen, by purchasing a Meter for $125 or donating any amount you can. Tax receipts are issued for any donation over $20. Funds are held in reserve with the Shuswap Trail Alliance.
