INSTANT BOOKING Instant booking is a trend that’s become more popular over the years in the vacation rental sphere, and that’s only going to become truer as 2020 continues. When a rental has instant booking, it gives renters the ability to ensure they get exactly what they’re looking for and not miss out due to a rental owner having slow response times. This is something commonly found on listing sites such as Airbnb or Flipkey, and will likely grow throughout platforms over time. This is also important with the last-minute booking of rentals, as customers need to know as soon as possible if they have a place to stay.
OFF SEASON TRAVEL Many travelers have become all about traveling during the off-season. Traveling in the off-season usually means saving money and avoiding bigger crowds. This is a trend that has seen a lot of growth in the past 10 years and it doesn’t look like it’ll be stopping anytime soon, with summertime tending to extend all the way into October. All sorts of customers travel during the offseason, and owning a rental is a great way to take advantage and make some extra profit in a time they normally wouldn’t.
