I am determined to help you unlock the new you through goal setting, knowledge, and action. First, I want to introduce myself and share why I feel your health is so important to me. I just turned 48 recently, and I am the proud mother of six6 beautiful children ranging from 7-–25 years old. I have been married to my sweetheart, Dr. Jamison, for 27 years. WTogether, we get to teach many wellness classes together and , and we have a greatlove it time. However, my obsession with health began at a very young age. ! My family is an extremely essential part of my life, so I may entertain you with funny stories and pictures. Oh, yes! I have many. My story begins long ago…I feel like I am beginning a fairytale, but I assure you this is no fairy tale. I grew up on a golf course that . In fact, my parents owned it. My dad was a golf professional. Maybe that does sound like a fairytale. It almost sounds like I grew up in a castle or something. I always had a hard time telling people that because I didn’t want to come across as a spoiled child, and of course that would not be true! Actually, my parents were the hardest working people I have ever known. There were many days and weeks that they worked 12-18 hour days, 7 days a week in the summer time. They taught me at an early age the value of dedicated, hard work. We also owned a restaurant on the premise of the golf course, which is where I, at the tender age of ten10, worked side by side with my mother. What a gift that was! Well actually, I don’t think I thought that at the time, however, I’m very mature now and I see things totally differently than before. I know it is taking a while to get to what is most important. Well, here it is! I learned many important lessons as I grew up in thaist environment., It was especially by seeing how awful it was to observe people who were intoxicated , and to be the one responsible for emptying their cigarette butts and throwing away their beer cans. YUCK! Not my idea of a good time. In spite of how distasteful this was, it left a very lasting impression on me of what I didn’t ever want in my life. I watched my dad drink and smoke and I didn’t want any part of it, e, ever. The golf course was also a beautiful place to go running, and I loved running. I ran all over the golf course in the wee hours of the morning where my dad would follow me in a golf cart, just so he knew I was safe. It was so embarrassing, andg! I did everything to run a little faster to lose him, but to no avail. He always seemed to findfound me.! Perhaps he is the reason I I should give him the credit of my still holding a high school track record 30 years later. Ouch! That dates me!

Through these experiences, I learned to take care of my most valued gift as a child, and that was my body. I knew that if I fed it healthy foods, my performance would beas enhanced and I would win races. Often times I do remember after track practice, I would comeing home and haveing a plate of steamed veggies—; still one of my favorites today. Healthy living has always been an important part of my life. I am truly ecstatic to share my tips, stories, and experiences with you so that you too, may have a desire to learn and grow in the world of wellness. Please check out my survey so that I know I will be sending out a survey to find out what topics you are most interested in. Let’s get energized for a great time of learning!
