Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra New Year Strauss Gala

Sunday 26 January, 3pm, Pittville Pump Room Cheltenham Philharmonic Orchestra welcomes back its president Joanna MacGregor OBE to perform Brahms Piano Concerto No.1. Joanna is Head of Piano at the Royal Academy of Music, Professor of Music at the University of London and curator of the Dartington Festival. The concert also features works by Prokofiev and Verdi.
Tuesday 4 February, 7.30pm, Pittville Pump Room Favourites at Cheltenham Music Festival, the prize-winning Chiaroscuro Quartet offer an all-Beethoven programme, including the String Quartet in F major, Op.59, No.1 Razumovsky and the String Quartet in B flat major, Op.130. An Evening with Iolo Williams Birds of Prey

In 1909 Sibelius conducted the orchestra in a performance of his work, Finlandia. The concert opens with this piece and, continuing a Nordic theme, also includes Grieg’s wellknown Peer Gynt Suite and the stunning second symphony by Sibelius.

Booking Information How to book
Parking
IN PERSON at Cheltenham Town Hall,
Public parking is available adjacent to Pittville Pump Room and there are several public car parks within walking distance of Cheltenham Town Hall.
Imperial Square, Cheltenham, GL50 1QA (Mon-Fri 10am-5.30pm and 45 minutes before an event. Closed weekends and public holidays unless an event is on, in which case the box office will be open 45 minutes before the event).
BY TELEPHONE 0844 576 2210* (Mon-Fri 10am-5.30pm) *Charges to 0844 numbers cost 7p per minute, plus your telephone company’s access charge and mobile providers may vary.
BY POST to the address above. Please supply a SAE or £1.25 postage if you want your tickets to be posted to you. ONLINE Cheltenhamtownhall.org.uk There is a transaction fee of £1.50 per booking when buying online or over the phone. Some events listed in this brochure with a bold title may be subject to a £1.50 ticket administration commission included in the price. The box office will be open 45 minutes before an event starts. Times listed are start times. Please arrive in advance of stated time.
How to pay We accept most major credit and debit cards. Cheques should be made payable to The Cheltenham Trust. Please state a maximum sum, e.g. ‘not exceeding £...’
Concessions Available for selected events – please check with the box office at the time of booking. Concessions are subject to availability and proof of eligibility will be required. Only one concession/offer may apply per ticket.
Disabled bookings If you are disabled and/or require a carer to accompany you to an event, please advise the box office at the time of booking. Concessions are available at some events to disabled customers, along with complimentary tickets for personal assistants. If you need help with transport or parking, please tell us – if we cannot help, we may be able to put you in touch with someone who can.

Terms & Conditions Tickets cannot be exchanged nor money refunded, except in the case of a cancelled event. Reserved tickets must be paid for within three working days, or no later than 30 minutes before the start of an event, whichever is soonest. We reserve the right to change artists or programmes as necessary. Latecomers will only be admitted into the auditorium at a convenient break in the performance. 5 Please ensure that mobile phones are switched off before entering the auditorium.
