DIPTYCHS/ DUPLEX HOUSE The project is to design a duplex for two families at the site of Venice beach. The design concept of this duplex is about Diptychs. In general means any abject with two flate plates attached at a hinge, and the commom characteristic among the diptychs is the relationship of left and right. However, when working through the diptych as a three-dimensional, architectural problem, I am focusing on the relationships of the placement and forms to their frames or boundaris. and also the interactive between the two houses

DIFFUSED BOUNDARIES The concept of diffusion seek to blur the rigid division between the public and private programmatic function that exists due to the existing architectural language in all three axis of urbanization through the vertical and horizontal evaporated gradient of form and functions.

GATHER The new event space at Piazza Galeno in Rome is a place to gather. the once isolated site, cut off by roads from the surrounding nerighborhood is transformed into a thriving space for people to come together. People are pulled into and through the underground by appealing natural light, plant life and magnificient twisting concrete forms. The concrete desgin procides a mix of history and modernity, gathering beauty and characteristics from old and new. Two concrete elements, the shell and the arch-way, gather together in the center to create a new kind of piazza for everyone to enjoy.
