Howard Jones solo show will be an intimate trip through Howard's 30 year music career, spanning across the globe and selling over 8 million albums. Howard first burst upon the contemporary music scene in 1983, with his very English songwriting, pioneering synthesizers and thought provoking lyrics. His very first single 'New Song' was recently used in the award winning 'Breaking Bad' series and the song peaked at number 3 in the UK singles chart. Along with ‘New Song’, The first two albums, ‘Humans Lib’ and ‘Dream into Action’, brought Howard a host of hits including ‘Things Can Only Get Better’, ‘What is Love?’, ‘Pearl In The Shell’, ‘Like to Get To know You Well’, ‘Hide And Seek’ (performed at Live Aid), ‘Look Mama’ and ‘No One Is To Blame’, which reached No.1 in the US. Howard is supported by Elise Yuill, a Devonshire-based singer songwriter fast establishing herself in the contemporary folk scene. Elise, following successful shows in 2015 at Glastonbury festival and venues across the South West of England, will be performing songs from her debut album due for release in 2016.

ORSON WELLES’ LIFE AND WORK IN

ONE MAN BAND

‘One-Man Band’ is the third volume in Simon Callow’s epic survey of Orson Welles’ life and work. He, once again, probes in comprehensive and penetrating detail into one of the most complex artists of the twentieth century, looking closely at the triumphs and failures of an ambitious one-man assault on one medium after another – theatre, radio, film, television, even, at one point, ballet – in each of which his radical and original approach opened up new directions and hitherto unglimpsed possibilities. Simon will delve into what it was like to be around Welles, and, with a precision rarely attempted before, what it was like to be him, in which lies the answer to the old riddle: whatever happened to Orson Welles?

MICHAEL PORTILLO A GAME OF TWO HALVES It took Michael Portillo little more than 10 years to get a seat in the Commons and then rise in power and esteem to a point where he was a favoured leader of his party and possible future PM. A track record like that suggests to many a privileged friend of the rich and famous with little or no understanding of or care for the ordinary citizen. Since leaving the house almost a decade ago Michael has endeared himself to many with his obvious respect for solid workmanship, like our great Victorian Railways and his obvious care for the underprivileged.

SHAKATAK

Shakatak have enjoyed a level of success and career longevity rarely paralleled in contemporary music – but then Shakatak is a particularly unusual group. Because of the nature of their music, their fan base is one that is far reaching while always retaining an ‘underground element’. After a number of successful top-twenty singles in the UK, the band went on to score unprecedented international success with the release of the classic ‘Nightbirds”. This success was repeated with the top-ten hit “Down on the Street and the award-winning video established the band’s personnel of Jill Saward (lead vocs), Bill Sharpe (keys), Keith Winter (gtr), George Anderson (bass) and Roger Odell (drums). With the magic Al Jarreau/Shakatak combination, the group went on to record the track ‘Day by Day’ to further international acclaim. A vibrant live act, combining astute musicianship with a sense of fun that communicate strongly with world-wide audiences.

The Official UK No: 1 Tribute show as voted by The Agents Association of Great Britain, comes direct From London’s Leicester Square Theatre, The 02 Arena, a Royal Command Performance and a performance last year on Strictly Come Dancing. David Alacey (Lovejoy & Inspector Alleyn), Des Coleman (Lenny - Eastenders & The One Show) and Paul Drakeley (Inside Out -BBC) star as Frank, Sammy and Dean in the original Rat Pack show, now celebrating its 18th record breaking year. Together they amaze audiences with their recreation of the music of Sinatra, Martin and Davis, in a fabulous show which brings the style and excitement of the Las Vegas heyday to vivid life. Including all the great hits - My Way, Mr Bojangles, New York New York, Amore, Come Fly With Me! Now together with their Swinging Orchestra under the Direction of BBC Musical Director – Don Hunt and the stunning L.A Showgirls, they are joined in this lavish production by the amazing talent of Becky O’Brien who recently took the country by storm with her incredible rendition of The Judy Garland classic “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” on Britain’s Got Talent. Of her performance Simon Cowell was moved to say "Wow. I was not expecting that. Your voice is so beautiful, so authentic, it was just so emotional. This is why we love making this show, to find people like you”. Many fans of the Rat Pack will know that Judy Garland was an original member of the original Holmby Hills Rat Pack alongside Sinatra and his pals and this show once again reunites these legends together again for one special performance, featuring the hit songs and comedy which helped to create a unique chapter in Entertainment history. JOE LONGTHORNE This is the postponed show from May 2015. This talented artist began his career over threedecades ago with appearances on Junior Showtime, followed by a grounding on the tough Northern club circuit. His big break came in 1981 when he was a finalist on London Weekend Television's Search for a Star - this lead to appearances at the London Palladium with Bob Hope and The Talk of the Town. A short time later, Joe received the Variety Club of Britain award as Most Promising Artiste of the Year. Television specials in the UK and USA followed. Joe's repertoire of voices is endless and includes hundreds of the world's top singers, however, he is perhaps best known for his impersonation of Shirley Bassey who has commented, "Joe can do me better than I can do myself". During his career, Joe has received gold and platinum discs for his albums, enjoyed sell-out concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, as well as touring Australia several times.

Now, Joe is looking forward to new challenges, new songs to sing and new audiences to thrill.
