WELCOME TO CHEQUER MEAD’S AUTUMN SEASON. After the phenomenal success of last year’s Beauty and the Beast, LP Creatives will be returning with their ‘awfully big adventure’ of PETER PAN. Expect a little bit of ‘boo-ing’, a lot of slap-stick silliness as well as high flying antics, aided of course by fairy dust! As well as the 27 performances of Panto, we are also packed to the rafts with great live music events from the likes of Ralph McTell and Shakatak. We’ve also got some great tribute nights from the likes of The Johnny Cash Roadshow and J’Adele too. I am delighted to announce that we have opened up our event cinema listings to now include live screenings from The Royal Shakespeare Company and performances direct from Glyndebourne. These two new broadcasts join up with the National Theatre productions and the CinemaLive events, meaning you are sure to catch these extraordinary productions right on your doorstep. There’s so much jam packed into this guide, Marketing have told me I don’t have much space to tell you all about it, so I have to leave it there- but please take a look at the forthcoming coming shows and events. There really is something for everyone.
