4 CURVES
The algorithm task this week was to create a series of drawings exploring vertical walls created from lofting 2 3 & 4 curves. Also we are supposed to investigate the triangulation tools. After experimenting, I realized that Grasshopper is a more than just a tool, it opens up to an infinite design possibili-

Box morph using tube and cone geometry
The algorithm task this week was to create a few patterning list algorithm. However, I kept getting the error of “failed brep to rectangle. After researching online, I decided to use the command of box morph and different geometry to design the model-display shelf.

An equilateral triangular polygon shape that will be turn into a tetraherdron.
Extruded and exploded equilateral triangular, with exploded elements removed.
Extruded and exploded equilateral triangular, with most of the geometry hidden due to the fact that I have overscaled the explosion.
Adjusted the radius and segment to form a pentagon shape, extruded and exploded with exploded elements removed.

FRACTAL GEOMETRY
Tried using a pentagon shape as a base geomtry and brep-ed it.
Extruded and exploded, with exploded elements removed.
FRACTAL GEOMETRY WITH CIRCLE Circles radiating out from the “heart with hentagons distributed throughout.
Manipulated the density of the form by adjusting the size of the hentagons along the circle and the distance between each hentagons.

Increased count value
Increased count value of the division of branches around the circular vector on both upper and lower segment.
Increased count value of the division of each branch around the circular vector
Added materials to the chosen itieration, and a floor slab on top of it.

BIOMIMETIC ARCHITECTURE
With 3 points and a curve, I explored the field command using merge field.
Another iteration using the same technique as above except with the 3 points randomly placed inside the circle.
In this iteration, I used the command Spin Field and increased the field spin strength for a denser field linework.
Using Directional Display command to show the movement of the field.
Using Directional Display command to show the movement of the field.
Using Scalar Display to display scalar value of a field section

Using the given definition of a tree, I explored further with the creation of a 3d field evaluation. In this iteration, I incorporated the square grid component to create a wave like form.
Similarly to the above iteration, I used the given definition and incorporated the series component and piped them accordingly.
With the form above, I manipulated the Z coordinate value.

Using Graph mapper component with gaussian as a graph type.
Using Graph mapper component with Bezier as a graph type.
With 4 curves, I manipulated the steps value to create an obvious field
By manipulated the base curves for this field evaluation, this was the result that I
I manipulated the value of decay and the field lines seems to be more spreaded out
