When she picks up her violin, Chicago-based violinist Windy Indie can move people of all demographics. Her electrifying covers and original live music transcends multiple genres entertaining crowds from music festivals to weddings and RSVP events. Chicago’s own Windy Indie was born and raised on Chicago’s West Side. She’s continuing to evolve and bring live music to the masses in as many forms as possible. Windy Indie is a remarkable violinist, offering music services for weddings, violin lessons for households, and recording sessions with regional talent. She is taking her multi-talented offerings and combining them to become one of the most versatile artists in the local music scene. She has performed for nationally recognized companies and celebrities and has even appeared on the FOX network’s hit TV series “Empire” three times. Windy Indie has plans to release a Chicago House Music Inspired single early this Fall titled ‘Chicago Groove.’ Drawing upon her upbringing in the city that created House Music, Windy aims to not only use her music to tell a story but to bring people together. “I can’t thank God enough for keeping me humble on my journey and embracing the freedom to create music on my terms,” said Windy Indie. Windy Indie is a classically trained violinist from the West Side of Chicago whose versatility on the violin is rooted in her humble beginnings. Since picking the violin as her principal instrument in her 6th-grade music class, she has become passionate about music and encouraging others to believe in themselves. Since 2004, she has performed in many youth classical orchestras in Chicago. She demonstrated talent and leadership skills and worked her way up to become an active section leader of the 2nd violins during her last two years at Lane Technical College Prep High School in 2011. While simultaneously participating in the All-City CPS High School Orchestra for three years, Windy Indie earned the chance to perform at The Chicago Orchestra Hall, Navy Pier, and many private venues. In addition, as a past mentee to the late Robert Fisher, she was a part of a youth classical quartet (SEED) for two years governed by him (a member of Chicago’s Sinfonietta Orchestra). Now focusing on the fusion genre of Classical and Hip-Hop, Windy has continued her education in Chicago’s City College Music Education programs. With sounds reminiscent of the local Chicago hip-hop scene and the city’s classical influences, Windy Indie developed an aspiration to bridge the gap between music and education as a tool to inspire people of all demographics to follow their dreams.

Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs Returns More than $45,000 to American Cancer Society SPRINGFIELD – Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs announced the return of more than $45,000 to the American Cancer Society. The money came from two bank accounts belonging to Diane Koszyk of Elmwood Park, Illinois, and was turned over to the Illinois Treasurer’s Unclaimed Property Division after her death. Koszyk died in 2017, at age 78, in Seasons Hospice, which was then located at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She had selected the American Cancer Society as beneficiary and co-beneficiary on savings and checking accounts with JPMorgan Chase & Co. The combined amount, plus interest, totaled $45,069 for the American Cancer Society. “We are honored to return these funds to the American Cancer Society and to carry out the wishes of Diane Koszyk,” Frerichs said. “While Diane passed away five years ago, her generosity lives on. Her gift will help the American Cancer Society as it pursues its

mission to free the world from cancer.” “The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) is proud to have worked with state Treasurer Michael Frerichs’ office to help fulfill Ms. Koszyk’s final wishes, and we are grateful for her generosity towards the American Cancer Society,” said Shana Crews, ACS CAN government relations director. “Since 1991, cancer mortality has been reduced by 31 percent because of public supporters like Ms. Koszyk and elected officials like Treasurer Frerichs who empower us to fight for a world without cancer.” Koszyk spent more than 30 years working in the Richard J. Daley Center in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County, said her granddaughter, Jennifer Honig. Koszyk had survived ovarian cancer but later developed the stomach cancer that ultimately took her life, and other members of her family also died of cancer, Honig added. “She figured if she could help other people avoid suffering like she did, the American Cancer Society would be someplace she’d want her money to go.” During his tenure as Illinois state treasurer, Frerichs has returned a record $1.4 billion in unclaimed property through more than 1 million claims. He prioritized changes in technology, efficiency and state law to streamline the process for unclaimed property to be returned to rightful owners or their heirs. Unclaimed property refers to money or accounts within financial institutions or companies in which there has been no activity for several years and the legal owner has not responded to inquiries from the business. In
Illinois, one of the responsibilities of the state treasurer is to safeguard unclaimed property. An estimated one-in-four adults in Illinois who search I-Cash (www.illinoistreasurer.gov/ICASH) find unclaimed property, such as forgotten bank accounts and unpaid life insurance benefits. The average claim is $1,000. Because unclaimed property is reported to the treasurer’s office twice a year, it is recommended individuals check the database every six months. Frerichs works hard to spread the word about unclaimed property so it can be returned to the rightful owners, including nonprofits such as the American Cancer Society. Other nonprofit organizations that recently have received funds through Illinois’ unclaimed property program include Shriners Hospitals for Children and Spelman College. Last December, Frerichs announced the return of more than $90,000 to Shriners Hospitals for Children in Chicago. Those proceeds were remitted to the Illinois Treasurer’s Unclaimed Property Division from the estate of Chicago resident Ernest Ulrich, a U.S. Army veteran who fought in World War II, earning a Purple Heart and Silver Battle Star. In February, Frerichs announced the return of $250,000 to Spelman College, a historically Black college in Atlanta, Georgia. Those funds had been turned over to the Unclaimed Property Division from a savings account owned by Grace Scipio, a former Chicago Public Schools teacher and Spelman College graduate who died in 2019. To find out if you have unclaimed property, visit www.illinoistreasurer.gov/ICASH.
Treasurer Pappas: Ramifications of redlining from the Great Depression still felt today A study by the Cook County Treasurer’s Office finds that government-sanctioned, racist housing policies dating back 80 years continue to harm lower-income, mostly minority communities throughout the county. The bulk of distressed properties in Chicago and its suburbs fall into areas redlined by the U.S. government in 1940, or in areas where Black people moved to escape urban blight, Cook County Treasurer Maria Pappas said. Redlining is the practice of denying loans to homebuyers in minority areas by deeming them a financial risk. The term referred to the red shading on maps of urban areas where the federal government, working with lenders, discouraged issuing mortgages. “Redlining may be illegal now, but housing discrimination still exists,” Pappas said. “Today’s problem of abandoned properties and boarded-up businesses is a blister that’s been festering for 80 years and needs a lancing. This study is meant to be the needle.” Other findings of the study: • Homes in redlined areas were nearly three times more likely to be seriously delinquent in property tax payments. • These neighborhoods continue to suffer from high crime rates and population loss. • Similar discriminatory patterns oc-
curred in Detroit and Philadelphia, cities that also struggle with urban decay and the departure of Black residents. • The Scavenger Sale – a decades-old auction system meant to restore properties to productive use – is incapable of filling its mission. • Latino communities have also been impacted by redlining. More than 6,000 mostly vacant and abandoned properties offered at the 2022 Scavenger Sale are in often-redlined areas with significant Latino populations. The 16th ward on Chicago’s South Side had the highest percentage of vacant and abandoned properties offered at the 2022 Scavenger Sale. Much of that ward had been redlined and 48% of its residents identify as Latino. The Treasurer’s recommendations to return deteriorating properties to productive use include creating a public database of abandoned properties; replacing the Scavenger Sale with a program allowing developers and local governments to receive properties free of financial encumbrances and rehab them more quickly; and advancing legislation to lower the interest rate applied by the county to delinquent property tax payments from 18% per year to 9% per year, lessening the burden on homeowners trying to repay their delinquent taxes to save their homes.

JOYCE TO HOST FREE DOCUMENT SHRED DAY IN SOUTH CHICAGO HEIGHTS
State Senator Patrick Joyce is hosting a shred event in the community for residents to discard documents with personal information. This event will allow community members an opportunity to safely dispose of important documents that may contain sensitive information. The free shred event will occur on Thursday, August 4 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the South Chicago Heights Senior Center parking lot, located at 3317 Chicago Road, South Chicago Heights, IL. The event is free to all residents, though each car is limited to three boxes of documents. It will last until 1 p.m. or until all shred trucks are full. “It is very important to take care of sensitive and personal documents in the right way to prevent identity theft,” said Joyce (D-Essex). “In order to keep information like this confidential to yourself and your family, I encourage this shred event to be taken advantage of, as it will protect all of your private information and give you the opportunity to eliminate the buildup of these documents in your homes.” Examples of documents that should be safely discarded are bank statements, outdated medical records, tax returns, old bills, credit card applications and receipts. For more information, call Joyce’s office at 708-756-0882 or visit SenatorPatrickJoyce.com.

(Black PR Wire) WASHINGTON, DC -Internships have proven to be a game-changer, helping college students, determine the career path that is right for them and providing a chance to gain invaluable hands-on experience in their field of interest. One study found that more than 80 percent of graduates reported that an internship helped shape the direction of their careers. For students of color, research shows that internships are critical – literally a lifeline – to their professional futures. Across the United States, students who have internships on their resumes are more likely to land full-time jobs after graduation. Yet, on average, only 6.6 percent of Black students and 7.9 percent of Latino students have participated in paid internships, compared to 74 percent of white students. At the same time, both groups are overrepresented among unpaid internships. Critics say those disparities also create challenges for prospective employers who desire to diversify their workforce. Recognizing this equity gap in our nation’s workforce — internXL (previously internX) has relaunched this month, providing organizations of all types, including Fortune 500 companies, access to pre-screened, diverse, entry-level talent. “If America is to remain competitive in the rising global digital economy, business and academia must collaborate to engage diverse talent,” said Black philanthropist Robert F. Smith, Founding Director and President of Fund II Foundation, and Founder, Chairman and CEO of Vista Equity Partners, an internXL partner company. Smith, drew headlines in 2019 when he pledged a $34 million gift to Atlanta’s historically Black Morehouse College, paying off student balances for 400 graduates and their parents. He sees improving access to professional opportunities for students of color as a matter of strengthening national competitiveness and security. To learn more, please visit internxl.org.
1863 Ventures Addresses Shortfall of Capital for Black and Brown E ntrepreneurs by Investing in 13 Portfolio Companies WASHINGTON, PRNewswire -- 1863 Fund is 1863 Ventures’ multi-sector investing strategy for New Majority entrepreneurs (i.e., business owners who have been historically marginalized). Established in 2020, 1863 Fund provides capital to 13 Black, Brown and women-owned businesses, with more than $2 million in non-predatory financing to accelerate entrepreneurs from high potential to high growth and to reduce barriers for these founders across the nation. “Our thesis is that entrepreneurship is becoming an increasingly viable pathway for the New Majority to build wealth; however, this is not achieved without historical headwinds,” says Melissa Bradley, Founder and Managing Partner of 1863 Ventures. “It costs at least a quarter of a million dollars more for a Black founder to create the same exact business as their white peers. Based on structural racism and generations of economic deprivation—with all the challenges marginalized people continue to endure—it is unrealistic to expect a New Majority company to have the same trajectory and growth as their white counterparts.” To this end, 1863 Fund is dedicated to improving the state of innovation and entrepreneurship for both New Majority founders and ecosystem builders alike by stimulating
member companies via equity investments or alternative, revenue-based financing models. Nationwide, the fund invests strategic capital across industries, including fintech, software, hair care and beauty supply, healthcare, and baked goods. The challenges of coronavirus will persist. It is crucial for portfolio companies to remain nimble and adapt to evolving markets. Amid the volatile business environment, 1863 Fund has provided much-needed cash flow to increase the survivability of portfolio companies and maintain their profitability. “1863’s investment has allowed me to stay afloat during these tumultuous times,” says Ashley Marie Rouse, Founder of the culinary-inspired and vegan Trade Street Jam Co, which is set to produce 4,600 gallons of jam this year and grow to $1 million in revenue. “We have a product-based business, and we cannot make money without product! Investment dollars enable us to secure raw materials that are now at a higher cost, that we would not traditionally be able to afford.” Portfolio company founders have also leveraged the network and counsel of an experienced 1863 Ventures team. Jean Brownhill is reinventing home remodeling contracts with Sweeten and recently secured new investors, thanks to
Melissa Bradley’s cultivated institutional relationships. In review of the 1863 Fund investments, portfolio companies are accelerating operations with increased product inventory, additional seed funding from other investors, administrative and infrastructural improvements, expanded workforce, and larger advertising budgets: Lillii RNB Inc., a retail fraud detection, prevention, and data services firm, closed $3 million in seed funding. Tech startup and career development program, The Mentor Method, raised $1.6 million in venture funding, onboarded clients like Amazon and the Department of Education, doubled revenue in one year, and scaled their team from two staff members to 11 in seven months. 1863 Ventures is the #1 national business development nonprofit and venture capital accelerator for New Majority Entrepreneurs, individuals who have been historically marginalized. The D.C.-based organization supports over 1,500 founders across the United States through curated curriculum and grant support. 1863 Ventures also funds 13 portfolio companies, investing more than $2 million in strategic capital across fintech, software, hair care, and beauty supply, healthcare, and baked goods sectors. CHOOSE CHICAGO AND THE CITY OF CHICAGO ANNOUNCED “WELCOME TO OUR NEIGHBORHOODS” A NEW LOCAL NEIGHBORHOODS CAMPAIGN TO DRIVE MORE VISITATION TO CHICAGO’S UNIQUE ANDDIVERSE NEIGHBORHOODS
Chicago, (July 20, 2022) – Choose Chicago announced a new local neighborhood tourism campaign encouraging Chicago residents to explore the city’s 77 unique and diverse neighborhoods. “Welcome to our Neighborhoods,” developed in partnership with The City of Chicago and advertising agency FCB Chicago, a signatory to the city’s “By Chicago. For Chicago” pro-bono pledge. The ads highlight the unique cultures, communities, cuisines, and customs in Chicago’s diverse neighborhoods. The first phase of the campaign will launch the week of July 11 and will feature attractions from neighborhoods across the city as identified by residents and small businesses. “Welcome to our Neighborhoods” builds on the community-led marketing campaign that Choose Chicago began last year, and this intra-city tourism ad campaign is the first time Chicagoans and suburbanites will be explicitly encouraged to explore the city in their backyard. “Chicago is a city of stories, and each one of our neighborhoods has its own to tell,” said Lynn Osmond, President and CEO at Choose Chicago. “We are launching this local ad campaign to inspire Chicagoans to venture out of the neighborhoods they live or work in to
experience all that the city has to offer.” The campaign will appear primarily on digital in-app and mobile display, as well as on strategically placed billboards, digital screens, and banners across Chicago. Digital assets for the campaign are available here. “We wanted to do something different and engaging,” said Andrés Ordóñez, Chief Creative Officer, FCB Chicago. “Instead of showing images of the neighborhoods, we are relying on the local nuances from each community and creating intrigue by alluding to what you might find there through bold, eye-catching typography.” Rob Fojtik, Vice President of Neighborhood Strategy at Choose Chicago said, “As additional campaign assets are developed throughout the summer, community organizations and residents will be integral to the drafting and placement of ads, which will run through September. We will be reaching out to our partner neighborhoods about collaboration opportunities.” “Quad Communities Development Corporation (QCDC) is excited to Celebrate Community & Commerce in Bronzeville by continuing the collaboration with Choose Chicago as its launches this new campaign to drive
visitors into our neighborhoods,” said Rhonda McFarland, Executive Director of the Quad Communities Development Corporation. “The neighborhoods of Bronzeville have long been recognized as a worldwide tourist destination with much to offer. We welcome visitors from near and far.” “Pilsen is one of the coolest neighborhoods in the world and we’re proud of that,” said Alex Esparza, Executive Director of the Economic Strategies Development Corporation (ESDC). “Any opportunity to further highlight our unexpected or hidden gems, such as this campaign, is a chance to get new people interested in visiting.” “Uptown’s partnership with Choose Chicago has strengthened significantly in the last year, and this ad campaign will not only highlight all the unique facets of our neighborhood but amplify exposure and drive more visitors to Uptown,” said Sarah Wilson, Executive Director of Uptown United. “This campaign is a perfect way to highlight the unexpected or hidden gems in Logan Square and other neighborhoods to drive new visitation,” said Nilda Esparza, Executive Director of the Logan Square Chamber of Commerce.

10 ENTERTAINMENT Roland Martin Unravels the Truth and Brings Spike Lee and Matty Rich Together to Squash Long Time Beef C
LOS ANGELES, PRNewswire -- Roland Martin, host of the “Rollin’ with Roland” show on the Black Star Network, sits down one-on-one with filmmaker Matty Rich to catch-up. And, like in most Matty Rich interviews, the question of his strained relationship with filmmaker Spike Lee arises. Rich usually avoids the question. But Martin, who has earned a reputation for bringing people together both on and off camera, was determined to get to the “why.” In the early 90’s, Brooklyn, New York natives Spike Lee and Matty Rich had a falling out that would turn into years of silence between the two celebrated filmmakers. “I admired Spike as a kid and was inspired by his work. It bothered me for years that things got so far out of control. But I didn’t know how to fix it,” says Rich. When Martin asked Rich if they had ever had a conversation to clear the air, he told him no. That’s when the interview takes an unexpected and dramatic turn as Martin reaches for his phone and Facetime’s Spike Lee into the interview. The two filmmakers had not spoken in nearly three decades and what happens next is unprecedented. “I am grateful to Roland Martin. He didn’t know the weight I had been carrying around for so many years,” says Rich, who got choked up when Lee told Roland to give Matty his cell phone number so they could connect personally. See the entire interview now on the Rollin’ with Roland Martin show on Black Star Network. #RollinWithRoland is a riveting, high-spirited, bi-weekly one-onone talk show on the Black Star Network featuring in-depth conversations with a host of iconic Black entertainers and businesspeople. Some of his guests have included Jeffrey Osborne, Richard Lawson, Glynn Turman, Sheila E., Bill Duke, Mario Van Peebles, Johnny Gill, Jackee, Michele Roberts, Richard Roundtree, and others.

Black-Focused Streamer Relaunches with Eyes On Cementing the Proliferation of Black Content NEW YORK, PRNewswire -- Over 75% of the 46 million Black people in the U.S. say they want more content that targets them, but recent studies show Black people are still underrepresented as both creators and leads in TV and film. This gap between the supply and demand for Black-focused content has resulted in Hollywood leaving $10 billion of value on the table by not addressing the demands of Black viewers. BlackOakTV, a subscription video platform exclusively targeting Black viewers, relaunches this summer with the expressed-intent of filling that gap and fulfilling the needs of Black viewers looking for more content that reflects their lives and experiences. In a streaming era in which major platforms often pigeonhole Black content and creators, BlackOakTV is creating a destination where Black viewers can consume all-Black content, all the time. BlackOakTV continues to bet on Black culture by creating an equitable platform for indie talent while delivering unique, high-quality, character-driven content to its consumers. In designing their future for streaming, Black founders Uzo Ometu and Iyanu Obidele created BlackOakTV for Black people, in partnership with Black creators. BlackOakTV offers one of the few truly Blackowned streaming services that’s hosted on its own proprietary platform. In addition, the SVOD platform showcases enticing original TV and film content, a sleek design and user interface, and soon to come, community features that allow users to better engage with the platform’s content and creators. During the current streaming wars where every SVOD platform wants to come out on top, many companies are making tough economic decisions to cope with rising overhead costs. These financial cuts usually come at the expense of diversity initiatives and programming. While many SVOD platforms make cuts to their diversity teams, BlackOakTV continues to bet on Black culture by creating an equitable platform for in-
die talent while delivering unique, high-quality, character-driven content to its 20k and counting consumers. As BlackOakTV seeks to differentiate itself in a crowded SVOD market where competition for content is fierce, the founders make a point to provide content creators with the opportunities to keep the rights to their intellectual property and opt for equity in lieu of cash compensation, if they so choose. With this rare approach to content acquisition, BlackOakTV has been able to partner with YouTube sensations like Dormtainment, Bigg Jah and Ayona the Artist, as well as with more traditional filmmakers and comedians like Shana A. Solomon and Barry Brewer. When asked why consumers should join the BlackOakTV platform, founder Uzo Ometu says: “There are maybe a handful of Black creators that get the funding and autonomy to create the unapologetically Black shows they know their fans want to see. As a result, it’s Black viewers that get shortchanged. In the long-run, we’re creating a home for Black creators to get that backing, so that Black viewers can finally have a destination that gives them the characters and stories they want to watch.” Understanding the history and ups and downs of Black content in America, BlackOakTV aims to leverage streaming technology, partnership with Black creators, and the unparalleled engagement of Black consumers to make sure this era of Black creativity is not just another fad abused by mainstream media, but instead a time where quality Black content is here to stay for good. To view exclusive and newly-released shows, like “First Dates” created by Talibah Newman and “Ms/Manage” created by Caralene Robinson, visit BlackOakTV or download the app today and sign up for a free trial on any device. ILLINOIS TOLLWAY SHARPENS FOCUS ON TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENTS, HIRES CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER DOWNERS GROVE, IL – In the wake of an industry-wide shift to cashless tolling, accelerated by the worldwide pandemic, the Illinois Tollway’s leaders are doubling down on efforts to support the agency’s diverse technology needs. The Tollway today added the first Tollway Chief Information Officer as it looks to consolidate, realign and invest in its IT workforce. “Since joining the Tollway, I’ve quickly learned that the Tollway’s business technology efforts are recognized throughout the industry; and our goal is to keep it that way,” said Board Chair Dorothy Abreu. “At this time, it’s critical we provide the leadership, focus, and resources to ensure these efforts meet our current needs and position us favorably moving forward.” Poised to lead these efforts is Michael Shay, a 22year veteran of Will County government with experience providing support to all aspects of the county’s 2,300 employees. Previously, he served as the Information & Communications Technology Director, a role included leading a 25-member team in support for all aspects of county government, including law enforcement, the judicial system, and county services, as well as the its real estate and financial systems. He also served as the chair of the Will County Emergency Telephone Systems Board which manages the technology needs of three 911 call centers. “As the Tollway looks forward, Mike Shay’s charge will be not only be meeting the Tollway’s internal and immediate needs, but also to leverage his experience within the industry to garner external support and attention for the agency’s technology efforts,” Chair Abreu said. “Mike’s ability to envision, and subsequently craft,
a solution in collaboration with our IT and leadership team will help move us forward as we see new technologies and needs emerge that can optimize the Tollway’s positioning and impact--a priority for not only myself, but our agency’s entire leadership team.” “I’m excited to get to work for the Illinois Tollway, an organization I’ve long found to be an amazing partner to local government,” Shay said. “From backend support for its workforce, to state-of-the-industry tolling systems, the Tollway’s technology is incredibly important to its own mission, as well as our region’s infrastructure, and I’m looking forward to helping the agency achieve its goals and continue to innovate.” Shay will be joining the Tollway’s current IT team led by Joe Kambich, an 11-year veteran of the organization. Under Kambich’s leadership, the Tollway has progressively adopted new employee-based support technologies, keeping its workforce on target. Most notably, this included the agency’s quick transition to a remote workforce in March 2020, which happened alongside the Tollway’s pandemic-driven shift to cashless tolling.
About the Illinois Tollway The Illinois Tollway is a user-fee system that receives no state or federal funds for maintenance and operations. The agency maintains and operates 294 miles of roadways in 12 counties in Northern Illinois, including the Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88), the Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355), the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90), the Tri-State Tollway (I-94/I294/I-80) and the Illinois Route 390 Tollway.

MONEY What Consumers Need to Know About the Future of In-Person Banking (StatePoint) From digital payments to video banking, the way consumers conduct basic financial transactions has changed substantially throughout the past decade, and the COVID-19 pandemic has only accelerated the trend toward digital banking. However, brick-and-mortar bank branches continue to play an essential role for many consumers when it comes to important financial conversa-
tions. Industry experts say more changes are coming down the pike to meet consumers’ evolving needs and to provide the right mix of digital tools and experiences, with more personalized human interactions at brick-and-mortar bank locations. Leading the charge in implementing some of these changes is one of the largest diversified financial services institutions in the United States, PNC, which is embarking on a multi-year conversion of its retail branch network in response to feedback and insights gleaned from its customers. Between May 2022 and the end of 2026, more than 60% of its 2,600 branches nationwide will convert to a new format. Basic financial transactions will begin to be completed using automated or selfservice solutions, such as ATMs and video banking, freeing bankers’ time to hold more in-depth conversations and truly engage with customers in offering financial advice, expertise, and solutions to help them meet their financial goals. “We remain committed to making a positive difference for our customers and communities, and to

helping all move forward financially,” says Kevin McCann, retail growth and innovation executive for PNC. “We believe the balance we will be striking between physical and digital banking will allow us to meet our customers where they are by providing that sweet spot of convenient digital tools and meaningful side-by-side personal interactions.” Those who are less comfortable with the latest technologies and who may be feeling anxious about these changes can put their concerns aside, according to McCann, who notes that bankers also will be available to spend time helping customers understand the digital tools available to them, within and outside of the branch. To learn more about the evolution of branch banking, visit www.pnc.com. At a time when both physical facilities and digital tools are critical to banking customers, a new way forward is emerging.
