SketchUp Week 1 Today’s work we will be using the push up tool “P” and offset tool “O” to create an object that will look like the interior of a room or house. You will have to be aware of the axis you are working on. First create a rectangle: We are working on the green axis, so it means it would be the floor. Now we will offset it entering the command “O” with our keyboard: We will use the rectangle tool to create some walls: You can do your walls the way you want.

Select your object with your cursor.

Every time, from now on, we want to work with this object we will have to do a double click on top of it to enter it and edit it.

Now it is time to raise our walls, and we will do this with the push up tool, so once we are inside our object enter the command shortcut “P” on your keyboard:

With our tool eraser “E” we will erase the small lines that intersect between our walls, so we can have all our walls together and it will look like this.

With our Push Up tool “P” we will select our outside wall, and all of the walls will raise. You can enter a specific height or just move it upwards with your cursor.

Final View.
