First thing you have to do is save your file.
You should open it with no template.
To do lines just press L then the space bar. Draw anything you like, or in this case a cat. When you finish drawing it just press the space bar again to finish it. We use the mouse to select an object among the space bar.
Blue selection is to select what is inside the blue box. (Left to Right)

Green selection is to select what intersects with the green box. (Right to Left)
