Adult Cast Bios

Jessi Little (Grace Bradley) is delighted to be back at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte! She was last seen as the White Witch (NARNIA THE MUSICAL) last fall. She has performed with professional theatres across the country including the Tony Award winning Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Artswest Playhouse in Seattle, and New Village Arts in San Diego. She recently completed the run of BULL DURHAM, A New Musical at Theatre Raleigh where she worked with Broadway director Marc Bruni (THE GREAT GATSBY, BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL) and a star-studded cast. Her cabaret shows have been performed in six states, most recently at Middle C Jazz here in Charlotte, and have been likened to Liza Minnelli, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Zoey Deschanel from the TV show “New Girl”. Tommy Foster (Bob Bradley) is an actor, director, and teacher with over 30 years in the theatre. His work includes regional the-

atre, commercials, cruise ships, and cabarets. Commercials include Nickelodeon and Food Lion. His cabaret work earned him a Bistro Award from Backstage. Since moving back to his home state he has played the title roles in JEKYLL & HYDE, THE SCARLETT PIMPERNEL AT CPCC Summer Theatre, Ned (THE NORMAL HEART) at Theatre Charlotte, and made an artistic home at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte most recently appearing as Aslan (NARNIA THE MUSICAL), Bob (THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL), and Miss Trunchbull (MATILDA). An active director and teacher, he recently directed STEEL MAGNOLIAS at the Old Courthouse Theatre and works as a Teaching Artist with Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. He also offers private singing and acting through his own studio, The Acting School, as well as workshops for professional artists. Tommy holds an MFA in Classical Acting from the Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Academy for Classical Acting at George Washington University and a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan. Allison Rhinehardt (Helen Armstrong) This is Allison’s 5th year in the pageant, and it just keeps getting better (or is it worse)!

Since last December on the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte’s stage, Allison has performed in MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS, FUN HOME, EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE, RAGTIME, and SWEENEY TODD. Up next is a reprise of her role as Queen Elizabeth II (DIANA, THE MUSICAL). Helen’s advice to you this season: Be careful on the ice!

Robert Sharkey (Reverend Hopkins) is ecstatic to be making his debut at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. Past regional credits include LT Ward/ Bert Healy (ANNIE), ensemble(Pirelli u/s, Beadle u/s) (SWEENEY TODD), Fred (A CHRISTMAS CAROL), the Big Bopper (THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY), Brick ( ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE), Bobby (SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER), Don (KINKY BOOTS), Winnie (A WINNIE THE POOH CHRISTMAS TAIL), and the Caveman Ancestor (THE ADDAMS FAMILY). A graduate of Western Kentucky University with a B.F.A in Performing

Arts, he has performed variety shows across the U.S. at Holiday World, California’s Great America, Kings Island and abroad on the Oceania Nautica.

Casey Daniel Payne (Luanne, Helen u/s) is over-the-moon to be working with the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte! Her favorite credits include Trina (FALSETTOS) AT Richmond Triangle Players), Mae Tuck (TUCK EVERLASTING) at Virginia Repertory Theatre, Patsy (CRAZY FOR YOU)at St. Louis MUNY/ Kansas City Starlight, Marty (GREASE) at MUNY, Ursula (BYE BYE BIRDIE) at MUNY, Gloria (DAMN YANKEES) at TexArts, Ado Annie (OKLAHOMA) at Lincoln Amphitheatre, Lucy (YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN) at Stage One, Grace (THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER) at Stage One, and Judy (A CHORUS LINE) at Music Theatre Louisville. Casey spent 7 years touring the world as a featured guest entertainer with Princess Cruises. BFA in Musical Theatre, The Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Nasha Shandri (Betty) is thrilled to work with Children’s Theatre Charlotte in one of their most iconic shows. She is a native of SC where she began her theatre journey and was an intern at Actor’s Express Theatre in Atlanta, GA. She’s worked with BNS Productions, Three Bone Theatre, Rock Hill Theatre, and Hickory Community Theatre. When not on stage, you may find her on or behind the camera in film. She loves all things arts and is grateful for the support of family to pursue her artistic career.

Maya Noor (Connie, Grace u/s) is thrilled to be performing in her very first season at CTC! This season you can catch her in the role of swing (SCHOOL OF ROCK THE MUSICAL), Connie (BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL), and Claire (DIARY OF A WIMPY KID). Maya is a recent graduate of Millikin University’s BFA Acting program. After graduation she spent the summer working on various shows all over North Carolina! Including: THE GREAT BEYOND(NC State Theatre Fest), THEY’RE PLAYING OUR SONG

(Judson Theatre Co.) and SHINING CITY (Sihr Theatre). Maya is so excited to sing her face off and spend her first professional season at the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte! Kristy Cardamone (Swing Church Lady) is excited to be making her stage return with Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. She was last seen as Maybelle Aarons (BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA) at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. She holds a BFA in Music Theater from Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA, where she portrayed the role of Mary Phagan (PARADE) and understudied Little Red Ridinghood (INTO THE WOODS). She was also Zaneeta (MUSIC MAN) at Shenandoah Summer Music Theater’s. Kristy would like to thank her hubby, Peter, kids, Kayla and Cole, and fur babies, Timber and Costa Blue, for their support and encouragement as she makes her theater comeback. And to her Savior, Jesus Christ, she gives all the Praise for blessing her with talents and giving her opportunities to use them.

Tilly McDaniel (Beth Bradley) Matilda McDaniel, also known as Tilly, is ecstatic to be playing Beth in her first Mainstage show ever. You may recognize her from CTC’s production of LES MISÉRABLES as Eponine this past summer, or as Coach Carr in the OnStage production of MEAN GIRLS, JR. Matilda was a Top Six Best Actress in the Blumey Awards this past May for her role as Lucy in YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN. Tilly is a junior at Gaston Day School and enjoys listening to Beabadoobee, watching horror movies, and crocheting clothes in her free time. She would like to thank her friends, parents, cast and crew for supporting her through this next level educational experience. She would like to give a special thanks to Mrs. Tsurumaki for pushing her towards this opportunity as it has been an amazing experience.

Charlie Fenstermacher (Charlie Bradley) is excited to be in another CTC Show! THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL is his first Mainstage production. Recent/Favorite

credits include CHILDREN OF EDEN, JR. in OnStage 2024 here at CTC (Young Abel), DEAR EDWINA, Jr. at Theatre Charlotte in 2024 (Bobby), and A CHRISTMAS CAROL at Theatre Charlotte in 2023 (Tiny Tim), as well as many other shows. Charlie is a School of Theatre Training student here at CTC. He is in the eighth grade at Sedgefield Middle School in Charlotte. Charlie loves Musical Theatre and plays trombone. He would like to thank all of the production team, his kind castmates, and his family for all of the support and a superb professional theatre experience!

Nora Yesowitch (Ivy) is so excited to be returning to the MainStage at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. You may recognize her as Alice from last year’s production of

THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL and as Yonah in CTC’s OnStage production of CHILDREN OF EDEN. She also appeared in Northwest School of the Arts’ Blumey nominated LEGALLY BLONDE. Nora has been performing in musical theatre since the age of seven and has worked with The Lotus Project, Theatre Charlotte, and Matthews Playhouse. Nora is in the tenth

Luke Tsurumaki (Teddy) is grateful to be back as Teddy for his second season! Some of his past credits include MEAN GIRLS JR., ALADDIN JR., FREAKY FRIDAY, and MADA-

GASCAR: A MUSICAL ADVENTURE Jr. Luke is a fifth grader at Gaston Day School, a proud student of CTC’s School of Theatre Training, and a company dancer at Beyond Dance Project. He loves to write music, learn new instruments, and create movies in his free time. He would like to thank Ms Jenn, his parents, and most importantly, shout out to his little cheerleader and sister, Hannah. Let there be joy in the world.

formed in various productions at CTC; some credits include MEAN GIRLS, JR. (Gretchen), NARNIA THE MUSICAL (Ensemble / understudy Susan), BYE, BYE BIRDIE (Helen), and many more. Eva also had the privilege of being apart of Shepherd Shakespeare Company’s and CTC’s Shakespeare Repertory Company this past summer, where she performed in ROMEO AND JULIET (Juliet) and TWELFTH NIGHT (Maria). Eva is a senior at Northwest School of the Arts, where she has attended for the last 7 years. Some NWSA productions include LEGALLY BLONDE (Chutney/Delta Nu), MATILDA (Miss Honey); and SISTER ACT (Ensemble). Eva wants to thank the incredible family she has made at CTC, and for their endless love, support, and dedication. She will hold the lessons she learned at Children’s Theatre close to her heart as she embarks on her college journey in the fall.

Ryan Campos (Ralph Herdman) is just so incredibly excited to be returning to Children’s Theatre of Charlotte’s Mainstage in THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL. Again! This is Ryan’s third year performing in the show, and his second year in a row playing Ralph, but he has been performing with Children’s Theatre of Charlotte since he was in 5th grade, way back in his first production, DISNEY AND CAMERON MACKINTOSH’S MARY POPPINS. Ryan is a senior at Northwest School of the Arts where you may have

seen him in last year’s production of LEGALLY BLONDE. He would like to thank the cast and creative team for making this, his senior show, an experience more special than he could’ve ever hoped, and he’d like to thank all the wonderful folks at CTC for making his many years here absolutely unforgettable. He’s thrilled to spread the magic one last time, it’s an honor to be able to bring some joy and spirit to everyone’s holiday season.

Sophie Belle Henry (Imogene Herdman) is incredibly honored and excited to play a Herdman in her fourth Mainstage production, THE BEST CHRISTMAS

PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL. Sophie is a senior at HOPE Academy and was a student in the SOTT and Conservatory programs at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte for seven years. She is also an acting counselor at Camp JuMP, the same camp that sparked her love of theatre at age seven. You may have seen Sophie last year as Beth Bradley in THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL or as Teen Fiona in SHREK THE MUSICAL in

2022 in addition to several roles in Children’s Theatre’s OnStage productions. Sophie would like to thank the cast, crew, and directors for making her final Mainstage show a magical experience! She would also like to give a shoutout to her amazing friends, family, teachers, and her boyfriend for always being supportive and graciously compassionate (Love you all!). Royce Lemons (Leroy Herdman) is a 17-yearold, Senior, at Northwest School of The Arts (Class of 2025!). This will be Royce’s 2nd year with THE BEST CHRIST-

MAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL at The Children’s Theatre of Charlotte (CTC), and he is excited to be a part of it. He has been involved with The Children’s Theatre since the summer of 2019 and continues to participate in their educational programs and trainings offered, to hone in on his craft of performing. For his stage credits, Royce has portrayed the roles of Aaron Samuels in MEAN GIRLS, JR., THE

MUSICAL at CTC, Principal Hawkins in THE PROM at Theater Charlotte, Parker (and u/s Adam) in FREAKY FRIDAY at Central Piedmont Community College and a host of Ensemble roles, throughout his high school career. Hailing from New York City, Royce’s love for the performing arts began and his passion for it has been a driving force to his success, thus far. Royce continues to balance good grades as a full-time student, working part-time at Publix, being apart of amazing productions and making sure he is having fun. Royce enjoys singing, acting, dancing, gaming and hanging out with friends, playing sports and his electric guitar and finding a great sense of humor in life.

Bailey Fischer (Claude Herdman) is so excited to return to Children’s Theatre of Charlotte’s production of THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL! Bailey was last seen over the summer in the ensembles of

ANASTASIA, JR with Camp JuMP and JUNIE B. JONES, JR with Mooresville Children’s Theatre. She also had the privilege of performing in Davidson Community Players’ FUN HOME production

as Small Alison last February. Other memorable roles include Young Elsa in FROZEN, JR with Camp JuMP and Young Fiona in SHREK THE MUSICAL right here at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte! Bailey enjoys writing, reading, singing in a band, spending time with friends and of course, theatre! She would like to thank her family for their support as well as Ms. Jen and the incredible cast and crew of THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL for their trust in her!

Merritt Bunner (Gladys Herdman) plays Gladys for her debut role at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. She first appeared on stage at age 9 as a Wicked Step-Sister in CINDERELLA. She went on to play Elsa in FROZEN, and most recently was Orphan Annie. The youngest of 4 children, Merritt is a born performer with a BIG voice! She would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her, especially her grandmother!

Reid Crawford (Ensemble, Teddy u/s) is a rising actor in musical theatre and film. He is thrilled to make his debut on the Mainstage at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. Reid’s favorite past performances include playing the role of The Sheriff of Nottingham in ROBIN HOOD, Roger in 101 DALMATIANS, and performing at

David Fulford (Ollie Herdman) is beyond thrilled to be returning to Mainstage at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. David performed most recently in CTC ‘s OnStage production of CHILDREN OF EDEN, JR. and in the 2023 Mainstage production of THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL. David is in sixth grade at Woodlawn School in Mooresville. In addition to performing in school and community productions in the Charlotte area, David enjoys computer coding and creating digital animation in his free time. David has been training at Children’s Theatre since 2021 and is incredibly grateful to the CTC team for this wonderful opportunity. He would like to thank his castmates, teachers, and family for all their support and encouragement.

Reid is a 5th grade student at Beverly Woods Elementary and when he is not performing, he loves making his own movies, writing comics, traveling, soccer and playing with his dog. Reid would like to thank God, his family, and the fantastic cast and crew at CTC for this amazing opportunity.

Abigail Holloway (Ensemble, Ollie u/s) is excited to return to the stage in this year’s production of THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. At just 10 years old, this is her third performance, and she couldn’t be more thrilled to share her love of acting with the audience. Abigail’s favorite activities include reading, singing, and dancing. She dedicates this special performance to her Godsister, Carrington Richardson, who continues to inspire her from heaven. She is deeply grateful to her family and friends for their constant love and support, and she extends her thanks to the amazing cast and crew for making this experience unforgettable.

Leighton Cooper (Ensemble, Ivy u/s) is honored to be part of THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL this year at CTC! Performance highlights include THE PROM (Theatre Charlotte) & SHREK THE MUSICAL (CTC). She would like to thank the entire cast and production team for putting so much hard work into this show & making it such a wonderful experience.

Julia Straley (Ensemble, Beth u/s) is so excited to be performing in THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte! She is a musical theatre major at Northwest School of the Arts, and a part of Children’s Theatre of Charlotte’s conservatory program. She was recently a part of CTC’s production of SCHOOL OF ROCK THE MUSICAL as a child swing. Other credits include: MATILDA THE MUSICAL, CHILDREN OF EDEN JR., GREASE, ALICE BY HEART, GODSPELL, and THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE. She

Manny Bly (Ensemble, Elmer u/s , Claude u/s) is thrilled to Return to Children’s Theater of Charlotte for his second year. His previous roles with CTC include Edmund Pevensie in NARNIA THE MUSICAL, Kevin G in MEAN GIRLS THE MUSICAL, and Gavroche in LES MISÉRABLES. He is currently a 9th grader at Ardrey kell high school. Manny wants to shout out his family, friends, and teachers and thank them for all of their support.

Evelyn Berman (Ensemble, Gladys u/s) is thrilled to take part in her first Children’s Theatre of Charlotte production of THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL in 2024. She has always loved taking the stage, and has appeared as the Minstrel in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, a Bird Girl in SEUSSICAL JR., and Veruca Salt in WILLY WONKA JR. at Charlotte Prep. This is her first year doing a CTC

production, and she would love to thank her fellow castmates, friends, family, and amazing teachers for their support. Special shout out to her cousin: “I love you baby Otto!”.

Michael Meissner Ensemble (Ralph u/s, Leroy u/s) is so excited to be returning to the CTC Mainstage in THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL! He is in the 10th grade at Northwest School of the Arts, where he majors in Musical Theatre. Some of Michael’s most recent credits include Alfred in the regional premiere of ALICE BY HEART at Theatre Charlotte, Adam in CTC’s Onstage production of CHILDREN OF EDEN and in the ensemble of various NWSA’s shows: MATILDA, LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL, and ONCE ON THIS ISLAND. Michael is so grateful to do this show again and would like to give a big thanks to the cast/ crew and the entire production team.

Andie Jones (Ensemble, Imogene u/s) is delighted to be performing in her first Mainstage production at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte!

Andie attends Northwest School of the Arts and majors in Musical Theatre. Her recent credits include LOST AND FOUNDLING, LOVE/SICK, and MATILDA at Northwest School of the Arts. She has also been seen in productions of GREASE, GODSPELL, THE PROM, and more! She is grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank the incredible cast and creative team for their support!

Trulyn Rhinehardt (Ensemble, Alice u/s) is so excited to be back with THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL cast for her second year. Some favorite past productions have been FOOTLOOSE, SWEENEY TODD, BE MORE CHILL, MARY POPPINS, SPELLING BEE and HADESTOWN TEEN EDITION. Outside of theatre Trulyn is passionate about dance and loves her studio, Open Door. Tru-

lyn also loves Aerial and anything that involves being in the air. She would like to thank her family, friends, and pickles.

Luke McCammon (Swing Charlie) is thrilled to return to Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. His previous roles include a Cruelie in NARNIA THE MUSICAL, and Teddy and Charlie in THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL at the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. He was also the Mad Hatter in SHREK THE MUSICAL, also at the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. He is currently a homeschooled 7th grader. Luke is grateful to all who have guided him on his theater journey. Luke would also like to thank his family and friends for their encouragement and support.

Lillie Powell (Swing Ensemble) is so excited to be returning to THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL! as a part of the creative team! You may have recently seen her as a Delta Nu girl in LEGALLY BLONDE at Northwest School of the Arts,

When not doing theater, you can find Lillie slowly losing her mind as she applies to colleges, or watching Saturday Night Live (where you’ll hopefully find her in the future). Tom Burch (Scenic Designer) previous CTC scenic designs include ALLIE KAZAN AND THE MAGIC MANSION, the perennial THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL, DISNEY AND CAMERON MACKINTOSH’S MARY POPPINS, BOB MARLEY’S THREE LITTLE BIRDS, DRAGONS LOVE TACOS, BUD NOT BUDDY, and several others. He also adapted and created puppets for a touring production of

THE DOT. Other shows in the region include WITCH and A DOLL’S HOUSE PART 2 with Charlotte Conservatory Theatre, THE WEIR with Burning Coal (Raleigh) , NO CHILD... with Cape Fear Regional Theatre) and THE LEGEND OF GEORGIA MCBRIDE for Warehouse Theatre (Greenville, SC). Other children’s theatre includes shows at Stage One (Louisville, KY), Childsplay (AZ), Chicago Theatre for Young Audiences, Chicago Children’s Theatre and Ya Tong Theatre (Taiwan). NYC credits include the off-Broadway production of MISTAKES WERE MADE (Barrow Street), THE HYPOCRITES’ PIRATES OF PENZANCE (NYU Skirball), and JOURNEY TO OZ (Symphony Space - which originated at CTC!) He’s been nominated 5 times for Chicago’s Jeff Awards (1 win), and has taught at University of Chicago, Ithaca College, and now at UNC Charlotte. International work has included shows in England, Scotland, Taiwan and, this last summer, Italy! Upcoming projects include PINTER’S MOONLIGHT (Burning Coal), and ALLIE KAZAN AND THE MAGIC MANSION (Orlando Family Stage).

Magda Guichard (Costume Designer) has been working with Children’s Theatre of Charlotte for ten years, designing costumes and puppets for such shows as NARNIA THE MUSICAL, THE VELVETEEN RABBIT, THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL, MADAGASCAR: A MUSICAL ADVENTURE, ROALD DAHL’S MATILDA THE MUSICAL, and THE GHOST OF SPLINTER COVE, as well as the designing and creating of the Dragons in both THE RELUCTANT

DRAGON and SHREK THE MUSICAL. Magda earned her Master of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design in production design with a costume design focus. Magda is thrilled to call Children’s Theatre of Charlotte home and thanks her friends and, above all, her parents for their love and supporting her artistic journey..

Jason Romney (Sound Designer) is grateful for the opportunity to collaborate once again with the team at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. A few of his favorite projects at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte include ROALD DAHL’S MATILDA THE MUSICAL, CAT IN THE HAT, THE SECRET GARDEN, and THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL. He has also designed sound for productions at Triad Stage, Alliance Theatre, Piedmont Opera, Florida Studio Theatre, Imagination Stage, No Rules Theatre, Hot Summer Nights at the Kennedy, Playmakers Repertory, Weston Playhouse, Lyric Repertory Company, Ravinia Festival, Utah Festival Opera, Unicorn Pillow Theatre, Elon University, and others. David M Fillmore, Jr (Lighting Designer) is Professor of Lighting Design at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Designing mostly for dance and theatre, Fillmore’s regional design credits include American Stage (FL), Tuacahn Outdoor Amphitheatre (UT), North Carolina Museum of Art, The Tennessee Repertory Theatre (TN), Cartage Theatre (NC), Imagination Stage (MD/ Washington), The Straw Hat Players (MN), and The Hudson Theatre Works (NJ/New York). Highlights include the world premieres of MY WAY (2000), THE CHRISTMAS DOLL (2007), SURVIVING THE APPLEWHITE’S (2008), THE DRAMA CLUB (2009), 101 DALMATIANS (2014/ tour), ELLA’S BIG CHANCE: A JAZZ AGE MUSICAL (2015), THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL (201619), AN HOMAGE TO ANCIENT EGYPT (2021), ALPHONSE MUCHA: ART NOUVEAU VISIONARY (2021), and the international debuts of THE LARAMIE PROJECT (2006), in Tours, France and Lullaby – THE STORIES WE TELL (2018), in Pietrasanta, Italy. His kids, currently 8, 12, and 16, all started enjoying CTC productions at 3 months old and are excited to be seeing theatre in person again. David is a member of the United Scenic Artists local 829. He holds an M.F.A. in Scenic and Lighting Design from Northwestern University, and a B.A. in Theatre from The University of Minnesota, Moorhead.
