Anna Goldstein (The Honorable Prudence)
Anna graduated from Winthrop University in 2021 with a BA in Theatre Performance and a Minor in K-12 Education. Since graduating, she has enjoyed a variety of performance opportunities at Carowinds, Sigmon Theatrical, Disneyland, and Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. She has spent several seasons teaching drama, dance, and music to young students at both the Levine Jewish Community Center and Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. As a strong advocate for affordable, accessible theatre she is elated to be returning to the resident touring company of CTC for her second season.

Kayla Simone Ferguson (Julia)
Kayla Simone Ferguson is excited to be a part of the RTC (Resident Touring Company) for the first time. Previous CTC credits include: Grace in THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL, Marcenia in CATCHING THE MOON: THE STORY OF A YOUNG GIRL’S BASEBALL DREAM, and Allie in ALLIE KAZAN AND THE MAGIC MANSION. This is a tour to remember!

Jamaas Britton (Maxwell, Rocky, Dr. Robert, Martha, Magil)
(He/Him/His) is excited to be a part Children’s Theatre of Charlotte’s production of THE TRUE STORY OF THE 3 LITTLE PIGS! as a Resident Touring Actor. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from Limestone College and Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. Recently graduated, Jamaas is in the beginning stage of his career but has been blessed to have done a multitude of commercial work, short films, and musicals for projects in the Carolinas. This includes Franz (ROCK OF AGES) at Actors Theatre of Charlotte, Rocky (ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW) at Actors Theatre of Charlotte, TJ (SISTER ACT) at Matthew’s Playhouse, Ben (NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD), and Telly (GODSPELL) in the Musical Theatre showcase the University of North Carolina Greensboro. He is very excited to expand his horizons and hopes to continue to hone his craft as a theatre practitioner! He is working towards helping others experience what makes theater magical and thanks God, his family, and friends for all their support so far.

Rollins Mosley (Alexander T. Wolfe)
Rollins Mosley is a performer and recent graduate of Winthrop University’s Theatre program. He most recently performed professionally as a Featured Singer in TEXAS OUTDOOR MUSICAL and as Puck in A MIDSUMMER’S NIGHT DREAM at the Pioneer Amphitheater in the Palo Duro Canyon. Rollins made his Off-Broadway Debut as a swing in SCOUTS last year at The Players Theatre and has performed professionally at the Carowinds Amusement Park. He has also been in productions at Winthrop University including RENT (Roger), PIPPIN (Lewis, Pippin u/s), and SPRING AWAKENING (Melchior). Rollins would like to thank his parents for supporting him and his friends for always encouraging him. Finally, he is grateful to be a part of Children’s Theatre of Charlotte and is looking forward to his time in the Touring company.

Alicia Tafoya (Director) is the Artistic and Community Relations Fellow for Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. She is passionate about connecting the work on our stages to our community. Prior to working at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte she was the Head of Performance at The University of Central Oklahoma. She is a director, performer, new work dramaturg, and certified Michael Chekhov instructor. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Southern Utah University in acting and directing and a Master of Fine Arts at Texas Tech University in performance and pedagogy of acting and directing. Previous directing projects span multiple genres including Latinx Theatre, Opera, Theatre of Social Change, and Children’s Theatre. While at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, Alicia has directed TOMAS AND THE LIBRARY LADY, DON’T LET THE PIGEON DRIVE THE BUS!, and THE LION AND THE LITTLE RED BIRD. Alicia is thankful for the collaborators who help her breathe life into these scripts. She sends love to her wonderful husband, friends, and family.
Jessica Borgnis (Music Designer) is excited to be working with Children’s Theatre of Charlotte again after previously music directing THE INVISIBLE BOY and SCHOOL OF ROCK THE MUSICAL. Other music directing credits include ROCK OF AGES, THE GREAT AMERI-
CAN TRAILER PARK CHRISTMAS MUSICAL, and LIZZIE with Actor’s Theater of Charlotte. She is a collaborative pianist with Charlotte Ballet and enjoys performing in a variety of bands that span several genres from Americana/ folk to jazz. When not performing music, you will find Jess on her yoga mat or spending time with her daughters.
Rahsheem Shabazz (Choreographer) has done countless shows here at CTC and is happy to return, not on the stage but as the choreographer. Rahsheem has been a dancer since a child, he has had the pleasure of doing Choreography for shows such as Peter Pan, 101 Dalmatians, School house Rock and much more, also dancing as an original Member of the Charlotte Hornets Hive Hip Hop Dance Crew. He is more than excited to bring his talents to Children’s Theatre of Charlotte for this family fun musical court drama! He gives a Big shout out to the director, the cast and crew for all their! And he has one question: Is the wolf as Big and Bad as they say he is?

Local work has included: THE CHINESE LADY, THE CHILDREN, CONFEDERATES (Three Bone Theatre); SPAMALOT, ANNIE, CHICAGO (Davidson Community Players); 1984, PRODUCERS, PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, SPRING AWAKENING, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, ADDAMS FAMILY, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, FOOTLOOSE (Theatre Charlotte); PIPPIN, EVERYBODY, TWELFTH NIGHT, HAMLET, SPRING AWAKENING (UNC-Charlotte). Regional credits include work for: James Madison University, Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, Michigan Opera Theatre, Florida Grand Opera, Houston Grand Opera, San Antonio Opera. Broadway credits include; Jerusalem-Assistant Lighting Designer (Tony Nominated), Good People-Associate Lighting Designer. Gordon received his MFA from The University of Texas at Austin.
Katy Sigmon (Lighting Designer) is thrilled to be returning to work at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. Recent professional credits include: Costume Design for A SICK DAY FOR AMOS MCGEE, and DANNY, KING OF THE BASEMENT with Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD and THE UGLY DUCKLING (Jim Henson Award Winner) with
the North Carolina Theatre for Young People as well as DR. SEUSS’ THE CAT IN THE HAT, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, MARY POPPINS, and TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE at The Green Room. Wig & Makeup Design/Artist at Ghost Train Halloween Festival, The Carolina Pumpkin Spelltacular, and Carl White’s Life in the Carolinas. She is Co-Founder and Production Designer of Sigmon Theatrical, Co-Founder of GiggleBox Circus, and full time mama to Levi and Charlie.
Kahei (Ketti) Shum McRae (Costume Designer) is so excited to help the Wolf tell his side of the story! Originally from Hong Kong, Kahei received her BA in Theatre from UW-Madison, her BFA in Production Design and MFA in Costume Design from UNC-School of the Arts. Some of her recent Children’s Theatre of Charlotte credits include SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE!, ALLIE KAZAN AND THE MAGIC MANSION, THE INVISIBLE BOY, and PETE THE CAT. She also loved designing CABARET and ADDAMS FAMILY with Davidson College, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES with Theatre Charlotte, and SHREK with CPCC. Her other costume design work has been seen at Triad Stage, UNC Charlotte, UNCG, The Barter Players, Peppercorn Children’s Theatre, Raleigh Little Theatre, Wake Forest University and Arts Center of Coastal Carolina.

Maddi Penn (Sound Designer) is grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the talented artistic team behind THE TRUE STORY OF THE 3 LITTLE PIGS! She received a BA in Theatre Performance from Winthrop University in 2020, and began working as a sound engineer in the year 2022. Her sound experience lies primarily in Live Line Mixing for plays and musicals here at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. Some of her favorite projects include SCHOOL OF ROCK, DON’T LET THE PIGEON DRIVE THE BUS!, and CATCHING THE MOON: THE STORY OF A YOUNG GIRL’S BASEBALL DREAM. This will be her professional sound design debut. She is thankful for the support and guidance she received as she ventured into the world of sound design, and is excited to be sharing her work with the Charlotte community.
Robert Kauzlaric (Book and Lyrics) is a Chicago-based playwright, actor, and director. He has written more than a dozen theatrical adaptations which have been performed in nearly forty U.S. states, as well as in England, Ireland, and Canada. His adaptations include THE ISLAND OF DR. MOREAU (Non-Equity Joseph Jefferson Awards: Best Production-Play and New Adaptation), THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY (Non-Equity
Jeff Nomination: New Adaptation), Neil Gaiman’s NEVERWHERE (Non-Equity Jeff Award: New Adaptation), THE THREE MUSKETEERS (commissioned for the Illinois Shakespeare Festival), Wilkie Collins’s THE MOONSTONE AND THE WOMAN IN WHITE, and a musical version of Jane Austen’s NORTHANGER ABBEY. For children, Mr. Kauzlaric has written musical adaptations of Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith’s THE TRUE STORY OF THE 3 LITTLE PIGS! (called “one of the best children’s shows of the year” by The New York Times), Peter Brown’s FLIGHT OF THE DODO, Mo Willems’ NAKED MOLE RAT GETS DRESSED, and Richard and Florence Atwater’s MR. POPPER’S PENGUINS, as well as a fanciful twist on Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT, called LIONS IN ILLYRIA.
Paul Gilvary (Composer) has composed and performed music for numerous Chicago theaters, including Lifeline Theatre, Strawdog Theatre Company, Tellin’ Tales Theatre, 2nd Story, Silent Theatre Company and Polarity Theater Ensemble, as well as occasionally improvising music for Jam Sandwich at the Second City Training Center. Paul retired after 33 years as a Chicago Public School music teacher. He is currently a specialist with the Little Kids Rock organization, and plays guitar in an Irish punk band and a reggae band.

William Rush (Co-Composer) A bandmate to co-composer Paul Gilvary, and a student of the mystic arts, William Rush channels musical guides through the ether. A self-described “rhythmic sculptor,” his musical training started with the gift of an AM clock radio and ended with violin lessons at age 8.
