Adapt a minimalist mindset. Excess “stuff” makes your home seem smaller. Pack away all unnecessary items: clear counters & table tops; closets & cabinets should be no more than 50% full.
Buyers need to visualize how they would use the space. Excessive photos and personal items are distracting. As much as practical, pack those away in the garage or move them off site.
