OVERVIEW “I am enjoying my cheese in a safe place. Why do you want me to reinvent? I am secured here. Why are you asking me to be a butterfly from a caterpillar? I have probably recognized my illusions but I am not yet ready to come out of this mental trap.” Since 2000, the environment we live in has drastically changed to contain what is indefinite & unfamiliar for daily living. We are currently nurturing a generation generat to face things that do not exist now, we deliberate to use technologies that haven't been fully invented yet, we attempt to solve problems that we do not even know as problem yet. We really live in an unknown world that has captured innovative structures es and systems with open arms. The new world leverages more on creation than competition, focuses more on reinvention than experimentation & it bestows huge potential to all for use and construct novel value in his choice of domain. His inventive mind is capable apable of working independently as a centre of intelligent action and collaboration towards creation of a dynamic organization; but his organization fails to prepare his mind to accept it fully in work arena. The Workshop “Reinvent Yourself” is the first concrete step towards preparing human mind to accept changes.. Reinvention is a process of awakening to become the wonderful form that one always wants to be. It's an appreciation, appre exploration & expansion of the inner qualities that are already there. It helps in appreciating the new state & opportunities a workspace can offer.. It is like becoming a butterfly from a caterpillar without much effort. OBJECTIVES The workshop unearths and unleashes the true potential in professionals to understand the spirit of innovation & collaboration and discover new opportunities in the environment. Once registered, he has to start imagining himself walking out of the workshop as a totally reinvented human. That's what makes this workshop a unique human experience. PARTICIPATION This workshop is designed for every middle & senior level business managers, business process owners both from public/private sector organizations & corporate houses.
DURATION The program starts at 0930 hours on Friday, August 19 and concludes at 1730 hours on Saturday, August 20, 2011. The participants are expected to arrive in Hyderabad a day before commencement and may leave after the conclusion of the program or in the morning of the following day. VENUE The Program will be held at the Centre for Organization Development, Madhapur, Hyderabad. It is fully residential and the participants will be accommodated in single air-conditioned rooms at its Campus. The Centre arranges transport between Airport/Railway Station and the Campus. PROGRAM FEE The Program fee is Rs.15,000/- (US$550/-, if foreign) + 10.3% Service Tax. The fee includes tuition, board and lodging, courseware and other facilities of the Centre like Internet usage, well equipped gym. Local participants not availing hostel accommodation will be given a discount of Rs.1,000/- per day for the duration of the program. Organizations/Institutions nominating more than one person will be given a concession of 10 per cent in fee to the second nominee and onwards. A 10 per cent concession is also given to a woman participant. In either case, the maximum allowable concession is 10 per cent. Institutional members of COD will get a discount of 10 per cent. LAST DATE FOR NOMINATION August 9, 2011. COD ALUMNI ASSOCIATION Participants of Program will become members of COD Alumni Association. CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION The Centre issues a Certificate of Participation on conclusion of the Program. PROGRAM DIRECTOR Dr. Chinmoy Sarkar As a business consultant, an author, a teacher, a trainer, Dr. Chinmoy Sarkar has contributed over three decades in local and international work assignments with prestigious consulting organizations and universities including IIT donning cross-functional leadership roles. Self actualized professional manager transitioning in the realm of education and corporate training, he has leveraged on his extensive experience in corporate-academic interface for human development research. A Ph.D from IIT Kharagpur, his model - popularly known as AXELL - on human transformation evolves from the deep study of many disciplines & real life humanenvironment boundary. ABOUT COD Established in January 1980, as a non-profit profit registered society, the Centre for Organization Development (COD), is engaged in Training, Consultancy and Research on various aspects of organization development, including strategy, structure, culture, HR and behaviour. It has recognition as a centre for doctoral research from the Osmainia University and as a scientific research institute from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India. In the last 30 years, the Centre has conducted several executive education programs for executives of various public and private sector, and Government organizations. COD has carried out problem-solving solving consultancy and research assignments for a large number of organizations. The Centre has a self-contained contained campus spread over 5 acres, with conference facilities, and specialized library containing a large number of volumes covering c a wide gamut of the Management and allied subjects and subscribes to various national and international journals. Recreation facilities at the Centre include full access to lush green garden and health club, along with play area. It has an Executive Executi Hostel with 40 spacious and well furnished air-conditioned conditioned rooms and an a/c dining hall on the Campus. The campus is well connected with Wi-Fi facility.
