ingfishers on Calder Grove has been bought by Kurt McLoughlin. The 64seat venue is open seven days a week, as well as offering takeaway. McLoughlin is now planning to boost their turnover and also grow its team from 32 staff to 40. “The funding from HSBC UK has been crucial to supporting me in purchasing the business and after a successful start to operations we are now looking to increase our turnover in the next 12 months, with anticipated growth expected in the Kingfishers team,” McLoughlin said. (this was pre-virus).
