press). This single storey premises in Wigan had positioned itself as a prominent takeaway outlet in the local area. Before this vacant chip shop property closed, it had a large customer base, and was a popular choice for food in the area. Its location was a significant strength for the chip shop. Being in close proximity to a large number of residential dwellings, and a prime main road frontage, the business had developed an excellent reputation. Prior to closing, Top Plaice Chip Shop was renowned for providing the best quality fish and chips in the local area. The vendor reached the decision to retire, leaving in place an excellent chip shop property to acquire. They also left in place an opportunity with significant potential for growth. generated substantial attention, from a variety of interested parties. It received a lot of enquiries, and after only 2 viewings and 1 offer, the business was eagerly acquired by Catherine and Gareth Bramhall. They have considerable experience in the sector, having run a mobile van for seven years and they were looking for a new venture to acquire. At time of writing they were still open (Covid) Gareth said, we are open Thursday Friday and Saturdays till this situation ends. We do our own deliveries and use Uber and Just Eat. Our supplier supplies to the NHS so they are still delivering We bought the shop in January but have had a mobile campervan chippy for 7 years, so the shop seemed like a natural progression.
