Plus, they sent fish and chips to BBC Radio 2 for Zoe Ball’s show too. Fish’n’Chick’n (various locations) Gave away 1,000 meals on National Fish & Chip Day – Friday 4th September! They had already given away 7,000 tasty meals to their community heroes since March 2020… but added another 1,000 on NF&CD.Customers had to nominate their #communityheroes on Facebook, in return meals were collected or delivered. Delicious, award-winning fish & chips were arranged for the champions of each store. Those nominated could be anyone from carers, NHS workers, bin men, delivery drivers, care homes, supermarket workers or anyone who made a difference in the local community!
