CMB We All We Got has become the motto of The Browns! We are a couple who loves to have a good time. We took on the moniker to express Chisa & Mont Brown. It came from the movie, New Jack City. The concept that was brought up in the movie was, "Am I my brother's Keeper?" In our case it's, "Am I my Spouses' Keeper?" The answer is emphatically yes.
Its the respect and unity behind the idea. Its the Yin and the Yang, Pisces and Gemini, the quiet and loud for us! We let each other be who and what we are, but we push each other to be a better individual and work on being an even better unit. We schedule in down time, music, reading, binge watching, and now that the world is opening back up, exercise. Our goal is to be here a long time for each other and to make as many happy memories as we can.

Since we have been hibernating all Spring, we had time to try some new things. Here are a few of our faves. Looza Banana Nectar tastes like a virgin pina colada. It's great mixed with pineapple juice. (Purchased at Lowes Food) Mike's Hot Honey Goes well on chicken, salmon, biscuits, tater tots & more. (Purchased on Amazon) Tazo Teas My favorite right now is Juniper Honey Mint, but I love to drink the Passion tea hot & cold. Mr. Brown likes Prickly Pear Cactus. (Purchased at Target) Tropicana Island Punch This is a refreshing delight to my taste buds. I am sure you can tell that I love fruit flavored beverages by now. (Purchased at Publix) Strawberry Slush I get this from Sonic and make it Route 44. They put real strawberries in it! give it to the people
ARTISTS & ARTWORK When we moved into our new place, one thing was on my priority list and that was artwork. I knew I wanted a place that felt warm and echoed my desire to move to Ghana in my retirement, but also felt modern and full of life. I literally waited over a month for a restock from @PinkLoMein_ with her dope hand-painted work. She shows you how she makes everything online and then she makes prints. I was so smitten with her message of "Embrace All That Is You" that after I got my beautiful print, I also purchased a pin that I can wear and share this message with the world. LESSONS LEARNED
IÂ got my entire life watching the Sunday, September 13, 2020 episode of Verzuz. It was Patti Labelle vs Gladys Knight and it was love and respect of the highest caliber. This taught us all a plethora of lessons. Here are my takeaways. 1. Patti killed her promo with her pre-marketing video that gave you a visual of her life and her chefery paired with her challenge to ask Gladys what she was bringing. 2. Two women who are both legends can each shine at the same damn time. 3. Sharing the tools and inviting each other to the table ensures everyone eats. 4. Claim your title like Patti when she let you know she sang, "If You Ask Me To", before Celine Dion. #LetThemKnow 5. Pray over your life like Gladys, because every day is a chance to be grateful. 6. Tell the truth about your shortcomings and do it anyway. Each woman made sure they did not fake the funk and let you know that they needed the teleprompter and their voices have changed over the years. When you are 77 and 76 you need help and its OK to not only ask, but to let people know that you created so much dopeness that you can't even remember it all! 7. Bring out your friends and recognize those that helped you along the way. When they bought out Dion Warwick....honey it was a moment! 8. Vote!
