EDITOR’S LETTER Let us clarify. TSHNN has got a magazine. We’ve got a Magazie. We’ve got a magazine now. Yeah were publishers, were editors, creators of all things great. Whatever its called. Give us a break were new to this. Imagen a magazine thats like walking down a street. A street paper. A piece of street in a paper. STREET PAPER. Yeah thats what we are. Imagen taking a walk down hoxton walk past a few shops few trendy folk. No names no identity . Its a bit of paper thats better then your local street. Just crammeed with all things great that you have no idea about.

Akse is a French Graffiti Artist of Vietnamese origins based in Manchester UK since 1997. Akse started painting in 1992 and became a member of the P19 Crew (founded by Pest) in 1993. Although Akse started writing Letters, he quickly specialised in Characters. Over the last decade Akse has focused on freehand photo-realistic graffiti portraits. In 2011 Akse started a personal project, “Psychopaths Project�, a Tribute to Cinema; since then various cities including Manchester, London, Liverpool, Blackpool, Arrasate (Basque Country Spain), Brno (Czech Republic) have been decorated with portraits of Actors/Directors who have inspired him.

THE PAPERWORKS The Paperworks is an exciting new creative space developed by Corsica Studios in partnership with Peabody. Situated just 5 minutes from Corsica, The Paperworks will expand our music programme and combine this with creative arts experiences, a selection of contemporary street-food and exceptional food and cocktails to create a new open air destination venue for South London.

Inspired by neon lights, Americana and rugged skate environments; Vans have transformed the vast 30,000 square feet of this iconic indoor-space in Waterloo into an ‘Off The Wall’ home for the European edition of The House Of Vans.

PIZZA EAST In a former tea warehouse on the corner of Shoreditch High Street and Bethnal Green Road, Pizza East Shoreditch serves wood oven pizzas, fresh antipasti and daily-changing specials. Italian cured meats and cheese are available to buy from the Deli, where you can also drop in for coffee and biscotti. Not to mention its super call Blk/ Wht photo automatum in its cellor.

SHOREDITCH FOOD VILLAGE “This summer the disused petrol station on Shoreditch High Street is being transformed into one of the area’s go-to dining destinations, with the launch of Pump Shoreditch street food market on 14th May, including a stellar line up of food, live music and art. Some of London’s most exciting street food vendors will be setting up shop for the Pump launch street party, including Mediterranean meets Middle Eastern Pulled by Morito, Mexican outfit Tacotitlan, bagels with a modern twist from Bagel Bros – Shoreditch, Don Arancini with their handmade arancini balls, and healthy pizza company Pizza Rossa, to give guests an eclectic mix of gourmet taste samples to enjoy on the night. Renowned English chef and restauranteur, Mark Hix, will also be taking up a coveted space in the street food village selling his infamous Fish Dogs – a posh fish finger sandwich, with minted mushy peas and tartare sauce.” Pump Shoreditch, based in an old petrol station on Shoreditch High Street, is opening for the summer on 14th May. From then on it will be open daily from 11am - 11pm, with traders like Tacotilian, Bagel Bros, Pizza Rossa, and Hix Fish Dogs.
