Home to many artists and writers, the town is located in central Orange County just minutes from Durham and Chapel Hill with exits on both I-40 and I-85.

See the new River Park Arch and the Occaneechi Replica Village in River Park. Come see the palisade, four ati (huts), work arbor, fire pit, lean-to and cooking table and learn about the Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation.
